Hey people I love! 🫀

My name is Colson but you can call me Col or Jinx. I was on here originally as Jinx before my Tumblr disappeared but for about two years I've been back and mostly used Col. I'm great with either 🌹

I'm a trans man, he/they 🏳️‍⚧️

I'm mostly a Yungblud and Machine Gun Kelly fan page, I do fics, updates, and pic edits but I do a little bit of everything with a lot of my life sprinkled in, sometimes including my health problems (I'm open about all of it if you ever have questions) I actually love questions and asks as long as people are nice 🖤

Just thought I'd introduce myself in case any of my mutuals are new. This is somewhat of an 18+ blog, at least leaning that way but all I mean by that is sometimes subjects are a little mature. Karlach - can light the joint with a literal flick, which is hot AND convenient. she's also just absolutely giggling at literally everything that's goin' on; she 100% has Clive in her lap the whole night too, all while having her tail curled around Tav's leg

Jaheira - brings the weed, literally just grows it in her spare time and tbh I feel like it's cuz she doesn't trust anyone else to bring the good shit; she also is the one who actually like. COOKED food beforehand so that they're not only snacking the whole night

Wyll - he'd be SO chill and have so many funny stories from all the parties he used to go to; I also feel like he'd try and show off his dancing skills with a little bit of goading from everyone and despite being blitzed, he still does a fantastic job

Gonna be doing quick reviews of books I've read. Feel free to avoid the Nix's Reads tag if you're not interested!

I finished Fowl Play not long ago, on the 2nd of April after starting it in January. It was fantastic from start to finish, written in an easily understandable way in chronological order like the title says.

I think it was one of my favourite books so far that I've read and lots of stuff is really educational.

As with all my books I pick out a bookmark that best fits the vibe of the book. No surprise I chose the one that looks most like a game bird.

Overall, amazing book, very educational and easily understood. If you like chickens. Have a read!

starting to realize I'm going to have to work on climbing the government worker ladder if I ever want to be able to afford top surgery or minor ffs things.

I wonder how hard it is to get in on federal work with no specialty work experience.... I mean 2 or 3 years of struggle as I'm at rn, pay off my car, then try for a fed job.

my goal is the better pay and mandated pay raises and job security. plus maybe I'd be able to bully their insurance into covering trans stuff? my current job is like... they don't know I'm trans. the insurance doesn't know I'm trans. and it's literally illegal for my insurance to cover trans stuff because Florida is a trans hell zone legally, but federal insurance should maybe be able to cover it?

only thing I can think of otherwise is going public sector and trying to get into a tech support role somewhere but their industry is kinda imploding right now and I've got no experience so 🤷‍♀️

Quick Awake My Soul update!

SO bad news, I'm still in the process of writing chapter 12 because I have fallen hilariously behind meaning it won't be posted tonight/early tomorrow :,) BUT I'm almost done so I'm hoping to have it posted tomorrow afternoon or Thursday morning at the latest. I'll give y'all a heads up right before I do!

The one good thing about it being late is that I basically decided to combine two chapters into one which is why it's taking so long because it is BEEFY and shit goes DOWN.
