i’ve kinda altered astra’s lore a bit. in that she’s a tenth generation kindred, and that also when she started out in her wrestling career she was actually a ghoul for a decent amount of time before well. a botch turned really bad in ring and her promoter/manager, who was a gangrel, had to embrace her because they didn’t want to lose a top talent, but also it would be a really bad look media wise if Astra ended up as another statistic to the industry’s dark side.

#I think I. need to stress that Astra debuts in 1998 where the environment for women #working in wrestling isn’t that good. and that. the indie scene wasn’t as strong as it is today #when I mean by a not good working environment I mean it’s hell for women to be taken seriously #and that also the whole notion of what CTE can do WASNT well known. and that chair shots are really bad when taken unprotected #on a more brighter note: her entrance theme on the indie scene is du hast by rammstein #and her wrestling persona is ‘Emiliya vanity’ who is this total alpha bitch #but the outlet of being ‘emiliya vanity’ helps astra to conquer her anxieties of stage frieght by prentending to be someone she’s not #it’s like an outlet for her to pour her emotions in. and then carver pops up and by interacting with him more #she starts to push or at least promote a more pro-anarch agenda #which goes over the head of kine who are marks (smart wrestling fans) #but like. kindred who are marks. Randy was finally back in the wwe due to being out because of a back injury that the bloodline had cause. The doctor had finally cleared him and when y/n found out about the news of him going back to work, she couldn’t help but worry. A lot.

“The more you worry, the more gray hairs you’re gonna get.” Randy jokes with a smirk, “Already growing one right here.” Randy holds up a piece of her hair, making her slap his arm lightly.

“Not funny a hole.” Y/n rolls her eyes with a smile, “I’m serious though, what if you damage your back even more? Shits serious.” Y/n frowns, tracing Randy’s sleeve tattoo.

Randy sighs and cups her face in his hand, “You don’t gotta worry about me, baby. I’ve taken the time to heal and I’m better, I’ll be good.” Randy reassures her, giving her forehead a kiss.

“I don’t trust that…” Y/n shakes her head.

“What’s it gonna take for you to believe me? Hm?” Randy questions with a raised eyebrow.

Y/n tilts her head before throwing her arms around his neck, “You better win the god dam match.” She gives him a kiss before scurrying off to go out and in the crowd.

Y/n felt like she was the loudest when Cody pinned Damian down and took the win for the group. She let out a whoop as she claps with a big smile on her face as she watches the group celebrate their win but all comes short when the theme song of CM Punk rings out and Seth loses his shit.

Y/n wasn’t too bothered about that as she focused on her husband who followed Seth out of the cage and instead of following him, he had a quick convo with Jey before rushing over to Y/n with a smile.

“See? Ain’t got nothing to worry about.” He gives her a smirk, “In great shape.”

Y/n gives him an amused smile before shaking her head, “Mhm, you did good I guess.” She shrugged.

“Good?” Randy scoffs and grabs her, lifting her out of the crowd and holding her close to him, “Just good?”

Y/n laughs and gives him a kiss, “You did amazing.” She nods, “Just take it easy please.” She pleads.

“Whatever you say.” Randy gives her a kiss before setting her down, “Now let’s get outta here.”

why do people say that aew dropped the ball on jade cargill or cody rhodes when their entire wwe presentation is just fully taken from aew?

if aew dropped the ball with them and didn't use them properly, surely jade cargill would have a completely different presentation and even NAME, but no, she came out in the rumble to the exact same shit she had in aew, cody rhodes is still the american nightmare.

aew used these people extremely well, as aswell as cm punk, hell andrade still has his aew presentation and had the el idolo part of his theme, they used them and wwe is just taking the aew bits!
