John Wick 4: Good movie. Great movie if you liked 1-3. Have more thoughts about it but that's for tomorrow. For now:

That's not a Japanese subway train, that's a PATH train, the independent subway-like system that runs from New Jersey to New York, with some stickers on it. John Wick 1 also had scenes shot on the PATH, including quite possibly some in the same station.

The French metro train is an MF 67, the oldest still in regular use on the network. The station they shot in, Porte des Lilas (as seen from the signs on the walls), is the general movie shooting station in Paris, but you can run normal trains through it, due to… honestly I don't have time to go into the 3bis and 7bis today, ask me again tomorrow.

The bus at the Arc de Triomphe is a Mercedes Benz Citaro (second generation), and yes, I'm fairly certain it's just the same one going around in circles. However, in at least one shot, there's a Solaris Urbino instead. In the scene where John gets almost run over by the bus, I think they switch from the Citaro to the Urbino between shots in the same scene, but I'm not 100% certain about that.

I don't think Paris has that kind of underground sewer but I'm definitely going to set a Miraculous Ladybug fanfic there now. Honestly the whole John Wick world would be a glorious and hilarious setting for an ML fanfic.

John could have saved so much trouble if he had just taken the damn funicular up Montmartre

The depiction of Japan and France in this movie is highly stereotypical (Japan arguably even more so). Berlin, however, is 100% accurate, that's exactly how the people there act.

Újabb 25 szóló és 25 csuklós autóbusz áll forgalomba Budapesten július 1-étől. Ezek a vadonatúj járművek annak a 150 darabos MAN Lion’s autóbuszflottának a részei, amelyek a BKK megrendelésére, az ArrivaBus Kft. tulajdonában és üzemeltetésében közlekednek a fővárosban.

A buszok fokozatosan álltak forgalomba: május 1-én 50, június 1-én szintén 50 új jármű kezdte el első munkanapját. Ennek köszönhetően a BKK ügyfelei már most is találkozhatnak ezekkel a modern járművekkel a város több pontján, többi között a 100E Repülőtéri Expressz vonalán is.

Júliustól további 50 vadonatúj jármű gördül ki a buszgarázsból, amelyek így már a 25-ös, a 96-os, a 120-as, a 296-os és a 296A vonalon is a fővárosban közlekedők kényelmét szolgálják, és további vadonatúj csuklós autóbuszok állnak forgalomba a 20E, a 30-as, a 30A, a 196-os, a 196A és a 230-as vonalakon is.

A vadonatúj MAN Lion’s autóbuszok a korábbi Mercedes Citaro járműveket váltják. A világosabb és tágasabb utasterükbe nagyobb teljesítményű légkondicionáló berendezés, utastájékoztató monitorok, illetve az utasok biztonságérzetét növelő fedélzeti kamerarendszer is került.

We flocie wrocławskiego MPK jest już dziewięć nowych autobusów elektrycznych Mercedes-Benz e-Citaro G. Zakup realizowany jest w ramach umowy podpisanej w marcu ubiegłego roku z firmą EvoBus Polska.

Zakup „elektryków” to kolejny etap taborowej rewolucji we wrocławskim MPK. – Dążymy do budowy nowoczesnej, niskoemisyjnej i dostępnej komunikacji publicznej. Priorytetem jest dla nas oczywiście bezpieczeństwo i komfort naszych pasażerów, ale zależy nam także na dbaniu o środowisko – mówi Witold Woźny, prezes MPK Wrocław.

Przegubowy Mercedes eCitaro G to pojazd zasilany energią elektryczną. Dzięki nowoczesnemu i przestronnemu wnętrzu przeznaczony jest do przewozu 41 pasażerów na miejscach siedzących i 75 na stojąco. Pojazd jest w 100 proc. niskopodłogowy, co daje komfort i bezpieczeństwo podróży osobom o ograniczonej mobilności.

Pojazdy są klimatyzowane, mają m.in. ergonomiczny rozkład siedzeń i poręczy, miejsca na wózki dziecięce oraz wózek inwalidzki, rozbudowany system informacji pasażerskiej z licznymi monitorami wewnątrz pojazdu, kasowniki z funkcją biletomatu i płacenia kartą, a także porty USB do ładowania smartfonów – Wszystkie te elementy wpływają na to, że pasażerowie będą odczuwali komfort podczas podróżowania elektryfikowaną linią – zauważa Artur Konarski, prezes Daimler Buses Polska.

Wczesna listopadowa zima i spadki temperatur, nocą nawet do -16 stopni, były prawdziwym testem dla „elektryków”. Zdały go jednak znakomicie – Jest to dowód na to, że zakup autobusów elektrycznych był przysłowiowym „strzałem w dziesiątkę” i ze spokojem oraz radością możemy spoglądać w przyszłość – ocenia prezes Woźny. – Cieszymy się, że na ulice Wrocławia wyjeżdżają kolejne elektryki, które będą wozić pasażerów podróżujących między pętlą Gaj i Kamieńskiego.

– To bardzo ważny krok w rozwoju komunikacji miejskiej w naszym mieście. Wrocław ma już dziewięć autobusów elektrycznych, a do końca roku będzie ich docelowo 13. Pojazdy obsługują linię „K”, co czyni ją pierwszą we Wrocławiu bezemisyjną, prawdziwie zieloną linią autobusową – dodaje Jacek Sutryk, prezydent Wrocławia.

Łączny koszt zakupu 13 autobusów elektrycznych oraz stworzenia infrastruktury do ładowania pojazdów to 52 miliony zł. Zakup możliwy był dzięki dofinansowaniu z Narodowego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej.

MPK Wrocław zapowiada, że to dopiero początek rewolucji, bowiem złożyło już wniosek o dofinansowanie na zakup kolejnych 21 autobusów bezemisyjnych wraz z budową infrastruktury. Planowo mają obsługiwać dwie linie autobusowe.

Przewoźnik analizuje również szanse na zakup autobusów wodorowych, sposobu ich finansowania, budowy infrastruktury i eksploatacji. Jest już po wstępnych konsultacjach rynkowych w tym zakresie. MPK czeka teraz na otwarcie zapowiadanego konkursu na zakup taboru bezemisyjnego z KPO.

Władze miasta są w trakcie rozpisywania kolejnego przetargu na obsługę linii aglomeracyjnych. – Wspólnie z partnerami aglomeracyjnymi Wisznią Małą, Długołęką i Czernicą właśnie teraz szukamy wykonawcy który zapewni nam około 90 nowych autobusów – zapowiada Paulina Tyniec-Piszcz, dyrektor Wydziału Transportu Urzędu Miejskiego Wrocławia. – Wcześniej testowaliśmy wspólnie z pasażerami różne elektrobusy i autobusy hybrydowe. Wyniki testów wypadły bardzo dobrze i elektrobusy mogą z powodzeniem obsługiwać linie aglomeracyjne.

rating the aesthetics of buses i've seen around

since i'm so obsessed with bus routes i guess i'm doing this now (the models i'm gonna show aren't all representative of the bus routes i see, fyi) (also some of these i haven't taken, so i'm going off of aesthetics)

Mercedes-Benz O530 C2 Citaro 12.0m: 7/10 BOY WHY YOU SQUARE 😭 no but really these are cool, although the lack of curved edges looks kinda funny. that being said, it would be nice if this wasn't on one of my least favourite bus routes, i can say that much.

Wright StreetLite 11.5m: 8.5/10 it's cute, funny round edges, i love buses that look like this. maybe a little ugly but i find it charming bonus:

Wright StreetLite 8.8m: 9/10 IT'S SOOO CUTE... so small and round. i love it... i haven't been in one before but they look really funny and cute (i've heard that these actually suck but i'm talking about the outside. and imo the outside looks very cute)

Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Dart 8.9m: 6/10 it's nice and simple, doesn't too fancy, wacky or out of place... nice but not very interesting. same thing for the 10.2m model

Enviro 200 MMC: 8/10 kinda like a modernised dart, it definitely has a "modern" look to it... it's nice! i like it! i think it looks cooler.

Enviro 400 MMC: 5/10 the double-decker version of the 200 mmc should look just as nice right?! eh. idk. i don't like this one.

Alexander Dennis Enviro 400: 7/10 this looks a lot nicer. i see this all the time. i think it is very nice.

Wright Gemini 2: 9/10 oh yes yes absolutely. i love the way this thing looks. it's the same charm as the streetlite 8.8m. it is Round. i love how it is Round. it looks very nice

New Routemaster 11.2m: 7/10 too Central London (although i know this is the 176 which goes to penge which is very not central london but shhhh) and Modern for my liking but i meeeaaan... three doors, with two staircases, one of which having windows??? what, am i NOT meant to have fun with that?!

Enviro400 City EV: 5.5/10 boy why you led screen????? nuh uhhhh. it looks so weird around bromley, maybe it looks nicer in croydon. at least it's eco friendly, i suppose...
