UR TAKE ON NCEL CHOSO URE SO REAL he just seems like the perfect type of person to be brainwashed down the incel road.. plus the whining in the dialogue you added?? HAD ME WHIMPERING TOO. plus the breathy “ask gojo to buy you more” CHEFS KISS ! but if you have no ideas on what to write for him i have PLENTYYY
coughs EMO INCEL CHOSO coughs
im just saying itd be kinda hot for a loser like him ESPECIALLY as an emo boy to have his first time with a bimbo big tiddy reader and him not knowing what to do and the reader is js so ditzy it makes him freak out n get so carried away 😻😻😻 he probably doesnt even know what pulling out is .. plus who doesnt love an emo loser (thats prolly a perv)
but yk its js a thought… i think this ask is too long for a request but if u wanna get carried away i VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE !!! (in the art of fangirling)
— pearl anon <3
EMO CHOSO ??! alright now we're talking. ‘cause the contrast of ur pink and girly lifestyle filled with actual love and little to no brains… is perfect for him ! ! he could easily fill that stupid, empty little head up with his own thoughts— EEK!
he just likes how ur the brightest, cutest… pure thing to ever step into his room. which is absolutely sickening… for MULTIPLE reasons ! ! mysterious liquid, laundry loaded up – so is his small garbage can with wrappers and monster cans, even the unknown polaroids of u jammed in his desk doesn't top the filth…
just being a clutz MAKES HIM NERVOUS cause he's also fumbling around but in a wreck of shocked nerves :(( all that blood is only going straight to his dick; he can't focus while ur crawling all over him, kissing and touching him in places he thought his own slimy hands would only make best friends with ;((... i like to think, when he's groping u back, he's a little shakey. like, mouth wide and watching u SO CLOSE either to smell all the pants u breathe out or to see if u still even like him touching you… he gets so nervous if u’d back away he wouldn't know what to do, maybe he'd get really upset… gaslight, and manipulate u to draw u back in… too stupid anyways but that's down another whole road and deeper into his incel behavior >.<
emo choso deff has black, chipped nails too ! ! he only notices that urs are pink when u reach down to grab at his hand – which is working into ur pretty cunt and squeezing at fleshy tits ! — or either squeezing at ur throat ‘cause he hates and loves u ( more incel behavior sob ),,, he just can't accept someone like u is actually fond of him. not to just make fun or trick him :( but a pretty girl he'd usually sulk about in the corner of his room late at night, just scrolling and scrolling and— actually liking him let alone touching his dick is a DREAM !
choso gets embarrassed and he'd cum too quickly before u could even pull him out his damn drawls... but when he's springing back up, he can't help but embarrassingly whimper– ur working hands are just so warm and gentle compared to his ! ! he wouldn't be able to warn u either when he's about to cum AGAIN… just lodging all of his sticky goo down ur throat, some even flying out in arcs when u’d gag and pop him out, yet he'd try and push ur head back down, desperate and unknowingly… even ruining freshly done lashes while he's at it ! !… sigh…

THE ZENIN GETS ME WETTER
Tumblr media
-> fem!reader x cullinggamesarc!maki - suggestive , set post culling games arc, reader has a crush on maki, uni au
Tumblr media
notes: I literally have the biggest crush on maki ever known to man. I love her so so much. May be a little inappropriate, so here's your warning now!
Tumblr media
Walking into the house, the blaring sound of the music deafened me immediately. It was a Saturday, which meant one thing ; it was time for me to relax and have fun after a long week of hard work and effort ( I attended one class).
My black dress hugged my body perfectly, barely covering the important parts. I felt the click of my heels against the wooden floor, my eyes searching for my friend, Choso. He was my brother's best friend and a family friend in general. My parents had always tasked him with taking care of me when I went out as we attended university at the same campus.
My medical course had been draining the life out of me, so a party is just what I needed to get me feeling alive again.
My eyes landed on him quickly as I extended my arm, waving him over. He wore a white graphic tee with a pair of baggy jeans, the black locks of his hair cascading from two pigtails. His baby hairs sat on his forehead, making the effect of bangs. He gave me a soft smile, which quickly disappeared after he saw what I was wearing.
"What the hell are you wearing?" He shouted over the music, his voice barely audible.
"Oh, come on! It's just a one-time thing. I just felt like being hot today!" I said in reply, smiling widely.
"Yeah, you do look hot, but that's what all the other men are gonna think! Who knows what kind of lewd thoughts they'll be having about you?" He protested, attempting to cover me from being seen by others.
"I'm not interested in what the men think." I told him plainly, my eyes surfing the crowd to see if she was here. Choso rolled his eyes and mumbled at me before I spotted my friend, Yuuta.
I pushed Choso away as he went to join a different group of people, telling him I'd message him later. I walked over to Yuuta, who stood in a corner with a boy who I knew to be Inumaki. He was studying software engineering here. He wore his usual turtle neck, which made me wonder if he would ever come out of his shell a little more.
"Hey, Y/N!" He said, handing me a red cup. I looked at the liquid in it, downing it quickly, the burn in my throat boosting my adrenaline. As I finished up my drink, I looked at the boy who looked pleased to be here.
"Didn't take you as the party type, Yuuta." I teased. "You too, Inumaki. Why are you guys here?" I asked them as they laughed.
"Yeah... we just wanted to try something new, y'know! But I'm not sure we wanted to try something new." Inumaki spoke quietly.
"Fair enough. Parties are always a nice way to let loose." I looked around awkwardly, not wanting to ask the inevitable.
"I know what you're thinking." Yuuta spoke, causing me to look at him promptly.
I hummed at him as my face flushed, causing both him and Inumaki to chuckle.
"She's here, don't worry. Although she didn't seem too happy about it." My face lit up at Yuuta's words, the thought of seeing her making my day.
As if my mind had been read, she strutted toward us within an instant. My heartbeat quickened, seeing her in a pair of tight, black, leather trousers and a black sleevless top to match. My jaw practically dropped as my eyes remained glued to her perfect frame. I almost drooled, my knees giving in, causing me to almost drop down and beg her to hold me. I looked away quickly, trying to mask my pure infatuation. She smiled as she approached us, stopping in her tracks once she was close enough.
"Hey, Y/N. Didn't know you were here." She smirked, swirling her cup slowly.
"Oh! Uh, yeah! I didn't know I would be here either, aha... But here we are!" I stuttered, my embarrassment engulfing me when Inumaki and Yuuta snickered.
"Where'd you get the dress? Looks good." Maki complimented, making me go crazy.
"Thanks! It was a gift, actually." I replied, trying not to sound like the lovestruck girl I was.
"You sure are drawing attention with it." Her eyes dropped to my exposed cleavage, causing me to yelp quietly.
Inumaki and Yuuta looked at each other, muttering something about going to the toilet before scurrying away.
Traitors.
I felt my underwear dampen by the second as the girl inspected me, her eyes tracing every line of my dress.
"Who you looking good for, hmm? Can't be doing all this for no reason." She probed, inching closer towards me.
"Well, uh." I hesitated, the alcohol taking over as I became unfazed by the possible consequences. "You."
Her face became strewn with mischief, her hands slyly groping my waist as we were now flush against each other.
"All this for me? I love being spoiled by pretty girls." I blushed at her words, hanging my head slightly. She placed her hand on the bottom of my chin, lifting my head up so my eyes met hers. She leaned in, her breath lingering on my earlobe as she placed a soft kiss on it and whispered. "If you look so pretty now, I wonder whats underneath."
I was soaked.
Her lips met my neck, placing gentle, sloppy kisses along my skin. I hummed at the contact, a feeling of lust completely taking over my body.
Maki Zenin wants me? I must be dreaming...

thinking of a vampire!Choso who lives in a secluded estate with his younger brother Yuuji. The two having lived for nearly 150 years, rely on one another in the presence of each other until you arrive. A sweet, kind, and helpful 23 year old college grad who really needs to pay off her student loans. The job pays well, not requiring you to work night shifts but rather morning shifts as a lady of the keys (and light housekeeping) sounds perfect.
Choso finds himself scolding Yuuji for distracting you during work hours saying, do you really think she won’t ask you anything? She’s young, she’ll suspect-
—relax, brother. Yuuji smiles, she’s really nice once you get to know her. she needed help pushing a heavy cart of dirt towards the garden because it needs remodeling, which I agree. So I helped her. Besides, she only asked me what my favorite and your favorite color were. And what I thought about pink peonies. Nothing to fear.
You’re always like that, always trusting strangers. Do you know what happens when you let someone in your life—?
—If Edna chose her, Yuuji interrupts, voice soft and stern, then she must be a chosen one. I’m pretty sure we can trust Edna’s judgement after 48 years of working for us.
He must have a point, Edna had been the one to recruit you. Yes you were young, but why didn’t she choose someone older? Not someone with seemingly soft hair or a smile that radiates warmth, and not a presence that smells of vanilla and roses. You were forbidden, something Choso had labeled as untouchable when you first arrived for your job interview. You had thought your boss despised you, only for Yuuji to settle your worries. Don’t worry, he’s... tough to reach sometimes, but he cares. He’s a good brother, and a good person. You didn’t do anything wrong the day you came.
So he dismisses his brother, sits on his leather chair as he watches from his study as you instruct some gardening men to install a floral arch. Yuuji soon joins your side, and excitedly motions to adjust the arc in another direction before you say something that makes him laugh so hard that it makes him hold onto his stomach. It’s been a while since he’s seen his brother laugh like that.
And a while since he’s felt what humans could only experience.

Things the jjk fandom has also made Canon that the character will or won't do
And this is just my opinion
Gojo being a cheater and not ready to commit, I know part of this is actually Canon but I feel like gojo doesn't put effort into any relationship ,because he knows that he falls in love easily.
I rewatched hidden inventory arc and just realized what if he just stays away from relationships because of what happened with geto, he falls in love really hard and never wants to leave and he will have to.
To protect his partner because of who he is and the dangers that follow him he just doesn't wanna go through all that again.... I think.
Hope that makes sense
Toji being broke as hell I am so sick and tired of this these were funny at first but now they are just annoying.
Toji is a literal Hitman 😭do you know how much hitmans are paid I don't, but in movies it's a lot I feel like he just Gamble's alot and loses them all I found a video on tiktok that talked about this perfectly he can afford a house and a phone he's just a gambling addict and you know money never stays long in the hands of a gambling addict which kinda makes sense because he always loses...
Sukuna would kill you the minute he lays his 4 eyes on you..... (🤭 I'll still read fics of him tho 😭) just wanted to point that out.
Nanami being the perfect husband 🌚yes he is.
Choso being the down bad boyfriend, absolutely correct.
Again I'll write when I remember more I might make this a series 🙂.

Hi!! I saw that you're making Shibuya texts soon and I'm very excited and scared
But I just had some random jjk questions for u cuz I'm nosy and curious
1. Who's your top 5 favourite characters? And why?
2. Who's the most underrated character in your opinion?
3. What's your favourite story arc
4. What's one character you wouldn't midn dying?
5. Whats your top 2 ships??
Thanks, you don't have to answer I'm just nosy! Love your work keep it up!!
Hi hi! No no I'm always open to answer questions about this stuff, I'd love to actually always feel free to send me jjk or just questions in general!
1. Obviously, Yuta. He had such good character development and he's just so cute and hot at the same time and I'm actually a bitch for him no more needed said.
Next, Megumi. I love his design, his personality, just everything him about him, he's so sweet at heart and he does everything he can for the people he loves
Inumaki. He's got such a cool power concept and he's also just such a fun character to think about, I also love how he has adapted to his own power to protect others while making some form of communication
Choso. He looks like an asshole but he's so sweet really, he's got an amazing power and his design is just mwah.
And Junpei, he wasn't there for long but he was so sweet and he deserved so so much better, I always just felt bad for him and I thought he had so so much potential
2. Again, Junpei. He had so much potential and that intro really fooled me, well fucked me over, and he just didn't deserve all he got, the bullying, Mahitos manipulation etc. He deserved to find happiness but he never did
3. Anime wise, Cursed Child arc ofc ofc and then for manga, atm I haven't read past the perfect preparation (but I've gotten spoilers for pretty much everything anyway), so I'd say Yujis extermination arc cuz of Yutas return ❤️
4. Mei mei, she has it coming
5. Itafushi, such a perfect match really, and come on Megumi is such a boy kisser and that boy is so definitely Yuji
And honestly, I do love SatoSugu, but I'd have to say Inuokko. I just LOVE their concept together, the fanart is always so so cute and I love them together as a duo
Thank you for the question!!

Kill Heal
Perfect Preparation arc/Pre-Shinjuku showdown AU canon-divergence where after he was unsealed, Gojo didn't go feral and murder all the higher-ups.
They put off Yuuji's execution order again due to Gojo's comeback but instead put it on Choso because he was technically not supposed to live and his incarnation by Kenjaku was through illegal means by killing an innocent non-sorcerer. Gojo didn't bother appealing for it because he didn't really care about Choso at first (and only Gojo had the power to go against them) until Yuuji went all dogeza on him begging him to prevent Choso's execution or else do it for the both of them.
Gojo didn't understand why in the short amount of time after he was unsealed, Yuuji had become so attached to Choso as well, that it was either die together or live together for both of them and Yuuji said something about how he hadn't been able to repay what he had taken from Choso.
So reluctantly, Gojo agreed, if only because it was Yuuji who begged him for it. In order to do that, there was no other way but to take Choso into his custody to get the higher-ups' hands off Choso. So reluctantly for both parties, Choso had to live in Gojo's place, away from his other little brothers' remains (because the higher-ups suspected Choso would still try to incarnate them through any means, even the illegal ones like Kenjaku, as Choso didn't exactly go by their rules). It wasn't the Gojo residence but Satoru's private apartment where he actually lived more if he wasn't at school or on missions. He'd been living there since Megumi left the Gojo residence to live in the dorm.
Gojo allowed Yuuji to come to visit Choso routinely but otherwise most of the time it was Choso and Gojo alone at home. And the sparks began to emerge.
Enemies to lovers trope, they fought a lot and they only pretended to be civil to each other whenever Yuuji came to visit so they didn't make Yuuji worried and upset. But because they live under the same roof they reluctantly and subconsciously started to depend on each other, so angry fights slowly turned to petty bickering.
"For fuck's sake, get your hair down or change your hairstyle! They look so hideous it makes me mad and wanna puke just looking at it.
"Mind your own business, Gojo."
"Yanno what, never mind. I'll cut them off myself when you're asleep and you won't even know who did it."
"Try it and I'll kill you."
"Oh babe, how much you wanna bet?"
Another day...
"Why is Yuji always the one cooking and cleaning the dishes every time he comes here?? Yuuji is NOT your servant!! You're the only one who eats so you clean up yourself!"
"Choso it's fine, I don't mind!"
"Even if you do, it's inappropriate, Yuuji."
"Well, it's the least I can do, really. Besides, I like cooking and Gojo-sensei likes my cooking."
"HA! See that, onii-chyaan~ I'm Yuuji's favorite so I get the privilege. Just back off, you creepy stranger!"
*seething in anger* "I AM NOT A CREEPY STRANGER I'M HIS BIG BROTHER!!"
They began to fight again, more like Gojo just simply activated infinity while Choso's CT crashing and breaking some things in the vicinity.
"Damn it! Stop it you two! Right now! Or else I'll never come here anymore!" Yuji yelled trying to get them off each other in vain.
Choso immediately stopped his movement.
"Doesn't matter with me, I can still see you at school anyway."
"I will never cook for you anymore then, Sensei."
Gojo immediately went silent too.
However, as time went by living together, when they gave each other's cold shoulder and silent treatment they began to feel restless and lonely with the silence because now they were slowly getting used to each other's presence...especially Gojo who couldn't stand to not talk or tease or just sit still when there were others around in close proximity. They were both just so very lonely in actuality.
Slowly they began to sneakily look forward to each other's petty bickering because it de-stress them both. Their presence began to give meaning to each other. Yuuji's constant presence for the both of them had done wonders for them to start seeing eye to eye. Their first common ground was that they both cared so much about Yuuji and wanted to lessen the burden and guilt the boy felt from Megumi who was being taken hostage by Sukuna. They began talking in adult manner even when Yuuji wasn't around. They tamped down their ego and so they began to talk without riling each other up every time. Choso realized Gojo had helped him and Yuuji a lot by going against the higher-ups and putting himself in danger while Gojo began to see Choso was just as much a victim of Kenjaku as Yuuji and...Suguru. That the guy wanted nothing but to be with his own family yet couldn't even afford that now. Gojo wasn't that heartless. He knew what found family meant. Had seen how Suguru treated his own found family with so much care and put them as his top priority even when he himself was dying at that alley. So it wasn't hard to sympathize with Choso, even if he used to be his enemy.
They talked long into the nights, Gojo taught him more about the modern world, how to use machines, smartphone, internet, utensils, and such and how Jujutsu world worked while Choso filled him in with what he knew about Kamo Noritoshi. The man's past experiments and all his evil deeds, which were now nowhere to be found because the Kamo family had erased the records from existence. His connection to Yuuji, everything since his incarnation, about what Kenjaku had done while using Suguru's body. Providing him insider information that Choso had managed to accidentally scrape during his stay with the curses' group. Gojo filed all this very important and priceless information away for further perusal.
Once they were enemies on opposite sides trying to kill each other, now they worked together, planning how to defeat Kenjaku. For Choso to avenge his little brothers and mother so he could kill Kamo Noritoshi with his own hands and for Gojo to take Geto Suguru's body back and mourn him properly this time.
Soon, the talk about work-related and future battles had begun to shift to more personal matters, how they feel about their current situation, their families, their childhood (or more like delusional memories for Choso), how they see each other now. Soon they began to see they were both worthy of respect from each other and treated each other as amiably as they could. Had begun seeing the beauty in each other. Subconsciously seeking each other's warmth and presence, for comfort during this stressful time, even if both of them still wouldn't want to admit it out loud. Opting, instead, to let their non-verbal language and gestures do the talking, showing their longing, for their bodies to act on what they really desire inside their hearts and minds yet never be able to put them into words and ask each other.
Accidentally healed each other's wounded hearts even if they didn't mean to or knew how it started, and one thing just led to another.
That 'another' thing led to Yuuji coming to Gojo's place in a rush one night before dinner because both of them didn't answer Yuuji's texts or picked up his calls since lunchtime and thinking the worst had happened to the two, he barged into the apartment to the direct, unhindered view of his big brother being fucked senseless by his Sensei on the couch.
A/N: I know I'm the one coming up with this setting and headcanon and now I cannot unsee how much potential this particular setting and AU can be explored for the bases of GoCho like omg the petty bickering, the old-married couple kinda petty fight with Yuuji being a sweet sunshine sonny, the angry sex, hate sex that turned into make-up sex and gentle love-making to desperate needy sex cz the auspicious battle was just around the corner uggghhh then the kisses and finally heartfelt confessions, promise for the future, proposal, just before that doomsday of fighting Kenjaku and Sukuna but this time ofc THEY WOULD WIN so GoCho could continue their lovey-dovey time properly post-canon and then they kneeled to Yuuji to ask for his blessing and ofc Yuuji couldn't be happier about how they turned out.
Is there anyone willing to write this for me?? or do I hafta get my hands on it by myself?? :"" cz I mostly wouldn't be able to write this long, at least not in the near future so feel free to use these headcanons if you like and wanna develop them into a proper fic, just credit me a little if you do ;) (but please don't use it on another pairing!).

i have such a love hate relationship with how gege writes women like he’s tackling the oppression of women and yet the women aren’t the important part of that conversation like he keeps killing them off 💀 it’s like how the walking dead would introduce a black character and immediately kill the previous main cast member black character
☝️ thing i can’t fault him for is that every female char is incredibly likeable. except maybe hana but tbh i still like her bc i could forgive women for anything she just got done dirty by the narrative. same with remi but honestly, instead of disliking her she made me dislike fushiguro a bit. (it’s not that i thought he’s at fault for anything i just disliked the set up for that arc) personally i think those two were the only major fumble writing wise. oh and tsumiki although i guess there wasn’t much more for her to do i was hoping she’d be more than a plot device (she was likeable anyway she made me like fushiguro more lmao)
omg i just realized what they all have in common is that they’re all related to fushiguro somehow.
another thing he does well is giving them their MOMENTS which to me is kinda more important than their depth in a battle shonen. like almost all the female combatants get a super raw moment. even hana shining that light on meguna was soo beautiful like idk that sticks out in my mind (until she fucked it up ofc)
nobara i think was actually rly well done. i still think there’s hope she’ll come back tbh. even though i said otherwise that’s just me pretending idc. yuki had a really good fight and she was so charismatic that i can forgive her death being related to choso so much (also bc i like choso). i just really wish we could have seen more of her earlier and know more abt her, esp her being a star plasma vessel, ik she was a supporting character but i was so hyped to see her in action. she’s one of my favs. tengen is also low key a fav even tho she didn’t rly do anything she’s well established and idk i just like her. uro is another fav who i need to see more of i hope she isn’t done for i feel like she got spared for a reason. yorozu was pure comedy i liked her and i kinda miss her i wish she stuck around longer. i stanned mai from her first appearance. maki is obviously my queen no words needed. i also thought momo was super cute and i still wanna know wtf that miwa panel was in the cg arc i think that was a genuine he forgot moment. mei mei and momjaku are freaks but i like them both they really help set the tone
ig the only issues are that 1) they keep dying and 2) their most important moments are related to a man somehow. i guess it makes sense bc it is aimed at a male audience but like if you’re writing abt women’s issues then you have to acknowledge the women in question as…people? that’s not rly what i mean to say but idk how else to phrase it. it feels like he wants to do a good job tackling these issues but he doesn’t rly get the core of the issue.
anyway it sounds like i’m shitting on him but the fact that he’s clearly making an attempt at expanding on the female characters instead of being like “here bitch damn” (and it’s a girl who gets one chapter of depth and is written out immediately after) is what actually touches my heart. altho ig he kinda did that with everyone but maki like i remember being surprised he went so far in the perfect prep arc for maki like i didn’t think she’d get a power up like that. and then in the sakurajima colony arc i didn’t know she’d continue to be relevant and then jumping sukuna with yuji like okayyy
the nice part of never getting fed is that crumbs are so delicious and nutritious for me. anyway i believe in kenjaku (old woman) x tengen heian era old woman yuri

First of all, thank you for your kind response! Second, in my mind you are "the anime psycho", but "psycho chick" is better 😅
So, apparently we share some grievances:
- I still can't get over what Gege did to Tsumiki. Fridged from the beginning, then she becomes the vessel for Sukuna's simp and then ended up in that fight that turned out to be a joke!? To make matters worse, in the middle of all this Megumi was also fridged.
- the "gathering of allies", either when they were going to free Gojo or with Gojo free, I would've liked to see more reactions to EVERYTHING that happened... but Gege prefers to dedicate pages to Kenjaku's monologue I guess.
- Sukuna vs Gojo. At first, one if not the most anticipated fight in the story of course I was very excited but a couple of chapters later and I was fed up. For powerscalling, it's great, the two strongest showing why they are the strongest, except we still don't know Sukuna's CT (or anything else about his character); but for someone like me who isn't interested in powerscalling, I find it a little flat though I'm not sure if it's the right term, it's like something is missing; Gojo... sometimes feels like I'm watching the extended version of the teen Gojo that fought against Toji and I'm not talking about power. (maybe I'm being a little harsh here and when I reread it I'll like it more).
When Gege again expressed his desire to finish jjk this year, giiirl... why did he dedicate chapters to international politics and the US invasion!?; and Sakurajima? I have nothing against this mini arc I swear but Sakurajima might not have happened and it would really change something in the story? Maki was already considered as powerful as she is and Naoya only returned for her training moment so... the unknown points were Kamo's situation and Kenjaku's infiltration.
However despite my complaints, there are still things I love about Gege's writing and I've been invested in the story for a couple of years so I want to know how it all ends (what will happen to Megumi, although I try to keep the minimum my expectations too). I also distanced myself from the fandom because it became unbearable (I can't believe how sometimes this affected my enjoyment), I only follow you and linkspooky.
I understand that when all is said and done my grievances will probably become meaningless. Gege tends to show much later why some things happened (or didn't) that way.
I end here because I already made it very long, sorry. Again thank you so much for your response and for your attention!
HOLA! Welcome back anon 😂.
So your ask came through before chapter 236 I believe so... let's taco'bout it more under the cut...
Ok so after brain rotting a bit more about it, I have achieved a different level of mental gymnastics about Tsumiki. Hopefully I'll sit and make a case for why the way her situation unfolded was actually perfect. Stay tuned.
But, as for grievances, I have to say that for me, the thing I really did not like as of recent has got to be how quickly Gege moved into and through chapter 220.
Tumblr media
It just feels rushed to me. Which I actually find relatable, because sometimes, when you write, you know where you're going, but getting there is a little harder.
I think Gege could have gone into more depth about how they all came together again, etc. So yeah, defo not a transition I cared for.
As for Sukuna vs. Gojo, I mean... yeah.
I did not enjoy it one bit and I kind of wish I would have enjoyed it more because Hakari vs. Kashimo was just such an exciting battle. Another favorite was Yuji vs. Choso.
But Gojo vs. Sukuna was defo meant to be a culmination of so many plot points that I personally was not interested in so... it is what it is. I am glad the battle is over and that Gege is feeding us Sukuna lore, etc.
Gojo... sometimes feels like I'm watching the extended version of the teen Gojo that fought against Toji and I'm not talking about power
Ok, this is so funny to read now that the battle is over given my thoughts on how Gojo was emotionally frozen in time because of what happened with Toji.
Did the conclusion of the battle give you more insight about what you were thinking?
When Gege again expressed his desire to finish jjk this year, giiirl... why did he dedicate chapters to international politics and the US invasion!?; and Sakurajima?
I get it! But remember we now know that, while jjk is in its final stages, it won't be ending any time soon. It certainly is a relief to hear that because, yeah, it was feeling pretty rushed while also addressing weird plot points that felt irrelevant at the time. Hopefully he'll come back and tie some of those lose ends.
Sakurajima was Maki and Naoya's showdown, wasn't it?
God, I honestly hated Naoya showing up again so much. But in retrospect, I can see what the arc was exploring, etc.
I recommend you look over at @blog-of-hubris who wrote some really good stuff about Sakurajima!
However despite my complaints, there are still things I love about Gege's writing
Same. I feel like, for me, Gege's vision is incredibly fun and engaging despite any of the apparent flaws in the execution of the story.
I feel like I am so consumed in the story because the themes resonate with me so deeply, that I am not concerned with execution unless he flops it (*cough*ch. 208*cough*).
I won't be surprised if, during a re-read, in addition to uncovering new layers of meaning I might have initially missed, I start spotting all of the plot holes or start seeing where he could have executed differently to achieve the same effect.
Kind of like Kimi No Na Wa lol. I LOVE Kimi No Na Wa, but the moment you spend any time contemplating the thing, it makes sense why Shinkai himself was so critical of his own creation.
I also have to say that I try to be very cognizant of the constrictions that Gege operates under--time, being the greatest. Not to mention that this is Gege's first big project. So what we're seeing is a fledgling author in the early stages of what I hope is a long career.
I also distanced myself from the fandom because it became unbearable (I can't believe how sometimes this affected my enjoyment), I only follow you and linkspooky.
Giiiiiirl.... lol. Thanks for the vote of confidence 🫡
Honestly, this fandom is just so damn big. Too many opinions abound, too much ego, pointless shipping wars... it's hard. I get it.
I've only started talking to more people on Twitter recently, but for the longest time I kept to my corner here on Tumblr because some people get so defensive about their interpretation of the story that it often feels like walking on egg shells if you dare disagree.
I understand that when all is said and done my grievances will probably become meaningless. Gege tends to show much later why some things happened (or didn't) that way.
I think that chapter 236 just confirmed that in no uncertain terms :)

Thanks for stopping by again anon :)

more random shit on my jjk oc cause I'm feeling nostalgic abt my gojos past arc phase and shit
Okay so I'm going to just randomly put that Akira's mom's maiden name is gonna be Murakami
Uhh let's see
She's a grade 1 sorceror which is pretty good for her lack of experience with actual battles against cursed spirits
she often gets sent to lots of missions cause of this so she's def worked with the kyoto kids before
im pretty sure she and mai would get along- I think akira can tell that mai and maki are siblings but she wouldn't ever prod on it because she already knows from her own experience that stuff like that can be complicated
akira 100% pulls the Sanzu move and pretends she's an only child (except this doesn't work cause people can tell who she looks like despite the different hair colors)
i want a bonding moment between akira and nobara where someone gives akira a nasty look because they know she's suguru's sister and nobara notices this and defends her
adding onto the previous headcanon where i said akira is probably good with mechanical stuff:
ik this sounds like it's been influenced too much by tr (which it is) but she def knows basic auto mechanics and she can fix things really quickly
shes very street smart but shes also very good with academics (just like her brother)
this might seem unrelated but i feel like she'd be a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to weapons, just like maki
i think mai would teach her how to use guns and maki + yuta would teach her how to use weapons like knives and katanas
i think she's better with hand-to-hand + cursed technique rather than using weapons with cursed energy
speaking of cursed technique i still dont know what cursed technique to give her
i think she's not that good with using cursed techniques though (because she's used to just fighting people with her fists) so when she's feeling lazy she just goes the itadori route and punch+cursed energy's her way through battles
she occasionally ends up getting into fights with other sorcerors despite trying not to stand out (due to being provoked)
she smart and she knows she's being provoked but she can't help but throw hands
but that's rare so most of the time she just ignores shit that comes her way and nobara's the one causing issues in her stead LMAO
regarding backstory and shit that has gone on with suguru:
she hasnt talked to suguru since 2007
suguru has occasionally spied on her a few times she just doesnt know it
when she heard that suguru died she didnt know how to react
oh yeah i forgot to mention she absolutely hates cults
whenever she encounters one during missions her first instinct is to blow the place up because she knows her brother was involved in stuff like that
btw akira doesnt know the full story on what exactly happened in 2006 and gojo never told her
i think akira def wants to know answers on what happened though
if she could ever meet the past suguru in her current state, i think she would genuinely demand answers and ask him why he did everything that he did
i know for a fact akira wants to beat her brother up if she could and can't forgive her brother
a sibling dynamic kinda like sanzu and senju but x100 worse (like yk how senju wanted to know sanzu's motives but sanzu just went "u wouldn't understand") (or smthing like that my memory of tr is very hazy)
because in akiras eyes, up until she was 5, suguru was a picture-perfect elder brother--he was responsible and kind and maybe a little teasing but it was all in good nature
she doesn't get why he had to kill their parents
but yeah if they ever came face to face to like that it prob would end up like that sanzu vs senju battle
her memories of her childhood are extremely hazy due to trauma + the passage of time
i think the last good memory she had with suguru was where he took her to a soba place with satoru, when the two of them happened to be requested on a mission near his hometown
when choso met her during the shibuya arc he realized who she was because of her resemblance to kenjaku
i think choso really felt angry for her after realizing that kenjaku was in possession of her brother (yk he's passionate abt that stuff)
choso doesn't know what went on between them though so he's honestly confused on why she keeps acting apathetic about it

Note
I can't wait for choso and hime to meet up 🥺🥰
I JUST FINISHED WRITING ABOUT THEIR FIRST INTERACTION EIHSHHIF
I can't wait until the perfect preparation and itadori execution arc, cuz I'm planning to write as many chapters as I can about her and Choso (since Choso disappears from the manga for a while after that 🙁)

I’m rereading jjk from the prep arc to refresh my memory, i dropped it around midway the culling game so i barely remember anything. I’ll be posting my thoughts per vol to make this fun!
So!! Vol 17 tl;dr thoughts: i liked it better half of it is maki and she is a pretty cool character, im just sad about how gege handled mai and nobara’s supposedly confirmed death. It could’ve been different. We should’ve had more of yaga before, also naoya sucks! Choso my beloved he is so cute about yuuji🥹 overall great volume!!
More vol 17 thoughts as i was reading:
- senpai yuuta is so confident😭
- naoya…😒
- One page, we get one page of kugisaki’s status but not in a clear way bc this could still be “nothing has changed, she hasn’t woken up” its nov 9 when that conversation happened, only a little more of a week from kugisaki’s “1% chance” we cant get a solid answer? A “odds were against her” but just yuuji’s I GET IT and megumi’s silence, doesnt cut it.
- Yuuta sees Maki and turns back to puppy mode, same
- “You can think of him as my big brother” 😭😭😭 my fave page, cant wait to see it animated
- Forgot how accidentally funny yuuji was, yes tengen is ugly looking
- So kenjaku was like AFO collecting CTs blood manipulation from kamo, whatever yuuji’s mom had, and curse manipulation for all his silly little evil plan for the fun of it (i do remember that)
- I love that yuuta is still the guy that says someone is stronger than him even when we all know is not true. He is closer to gojo and yuki’s level if anything
- Choso loves yuuji so much😭😭😭
- Wait where are all the panda like creations of yaga now? Like can they fight, what are these remind me of🤔
- Man i forgot so much of yaga, there so much about him that is interesting for him to be killed off and remembered just as panda’s dad imo. Ig it was more like a surprise reveal but we could’ve had some hints idk
- Megumi’s “i dont want it” jon snow moment is really funny
- The Zen’in fam are fucked lmao
- I still hate mai dying, i get the logic behind it. But it still feels unsatisfying ending for a character, unlike nanami hurtful but understandable and a good closure
- Mai took maki’s heart😔
- Naoya’s simpness for toji will never not be funny
- Bro thinks he’s as powerful as gojo🤭
- I do like maki’s personal arc, “burn it all” is a powerful thing, there were no other alternatives but to start anew. She did what toji couldn’t.. wouldn’t?
-I just find it weird they had two children in the same family line with a heavenly restriction? Maki and Toji being cousins and having the same exact powers ? Not like him dying gave her the heavenly restriction.
-We should’ve had more moments of Maki and Megumi’s relationship as second cousins or a mentioned of it tho, Megumi doesn’t want to acknowledge he is zen’in but still would’ve been funny when others do. Mai was perfect for this.

the thing that's so frustrating to me about the way the writing for the female characters has gone downhill in jjk ever since perfect preparation is that it would take very little effort and time for gege to expand on the women to make them so much more multi-dimensional and satisfying.
with yuki, he could have expanded on how she chose to not merge with tengen (if that is how that played out), and how her actions are partially driven by guilt because if she had merged, kenjaku wouldn't be able to enact their plans. it would play into her telling choso to live "as a human" because that's the choice that she herself made. it would give her death more meaning because even though she refused to sacrifice herself to tengen, she will still defend humanity and the world she believes in with her life. i don't know if that's what gege was going for with her and maybe we'll still see more of yuki who knows, but that wouldn't have taken all that much panel space esp when so much was devoted to choso's feelings towards kenjaku.
with hana, there is ever so slightly something there about her growing up in an analogue for an abusive, neglectful home. i find it interesting that gege wrote her as fixating specifically on shiro's tail as the thing that led her away. it immediately drew to my mind the story about a sinner climbing their way out of hell on a spider's thread, idk why. the metaphor doesn't really fit (it's more about people believing the only way to salvation is to deny others the same path) but the imagery is similar. and there's potentially a point about how when people are only shown hatred and abuse, they will fixate on a single shred of kindness shown to them (often from the same person who is abusing them even), and so it's not unreasonable for hana to fixate on megumi despite his very minimal involvement in her life. but all of this is inferred! i have no way of knowing that's what gege was going for. he seems interested in narratives about how different people deal with abuse, esp children, but her character was barely elaborated on. would have been more tragic if that was her whole deal and that it ended up being her downfall because sukuna used it against her, but as it stands it seems like it was just a crush.
and then tsumiki. the entire pay off of her character is to reveal she's been possessed the whole time so megumi can have a breakdown and sukuna can make his move. that's it. does she get to have agency? nope! i was in such denial over it because i was fully expecting the tsumiki twist and there were so many reasons why tsumiki might turn out to be not what megumi thought as an awakened sorcerer and how that would shake his entire world. the sleeping beauty damsel in distress waking up and informing the noble hero, "no thanks actually, i wanna be a powerful sorcerer and fuck up a death game" is a much better subversion than what we got. again, maybe gege will do something interesting with yorozu but i don't know what he could do to paper over the botched tsumiki reveal. at this point i'm going full tin foil and i think that's actually what he originally intended but it would have taken a couple of extra chapters to get right and he wants to finish the series faster so he cut it and replaced her with an incarnated sorcerer. i feel like there's enough set up where it would have worked and made sense but he just. didn't do it.
and even though i love perfect preparation and maki, gege still could have spent more time on mai and their mother. i know he was even more rushed and in ill health at the time so i'll give him some grace, but that arc would have been just that much stronger if we got a little time from mai's perspective and how she's given up on the zen'in clan and understands maki's position more or from their mom's perspective and how she failed her daughters but chooses to make it up to them in her final act and supports maki's actions because she always understood how wrong the clan was even though she participated in it. all of that is just under the surface in the arc and wouldn't have taken that much more time to pull out.
i don't even know what to say about nobara. i keep thinking she has to come back in some way at this point because why be so coy about it for so long? but again was she just a casualty of gege wanting to finish the story faster? she was originally going to play a bigger role but got cut for time? was maki just always gege's female lead and he was never attached to nobara anyways? who knows!
like there's so much i love about jjk as a story and its themes that i have to step back and realize that a lot of it is projected. but it doesn't have to be! it's just a shame that gege wants to get the story done quickly so badly that these little elements get tossed aside.
anyways. just had to rant a lil bit. i do still love jjk and i think what gege does with the rest of the story is still very good and i have high hopes for how he will end it. it's still very fun to read along every week and i would still very much recommend it. (and honestly tbh maki's arc alone for a shounen series is pretty fucking great and it even deals explicitly with misogyny and patriarchy in a quite frankly radical way and that's really fucking cool!) just kinda sucks that there's this one little aspect of it that falls short you know?

you know, reading the jjk manga made me cry a lot.
that hidden inventory arc. the shibuya arc. it made me shed tears i didn’t know i have. i felt for everyone in the manga. everyone’s story hurt me. that’s why i love gege’s works. it’s perfect for me. i love dark humor. i love that it’s funny, wholesome and so relatable too. i love that the storytelling is straight to the point as well. but most importantly, the relationships are what floored me and made me fall in love. toji's depth. gojo, riko, suguru and kuroi's friendship. suguru's spiraling. choso's brotherhood with his siblings. maki and mai's. panda and yaga's relationship. all of it. i love all their relationships. even the villains.
and a thought has been gutting me recently.
you know how gojo and utahime are being shown as people who abhor each other? who never see eye to eye?
and you know how everyone says jjk is a tragedy about to unfold?
it’s going to break my heart. and this isn’t me wishing for it. it isn’t me being a shipper - but what’s gutting me is the thought that at utahime or gojo’s final moments, it’s revealed that they actually mean a lot to each other.
gege really and clearly loves their trope. and his past works always show a mutual understanding between them, a camaraderie and a trust at the end.
utahime’s story is anyone’s guess. we don’t know her ct. we don’t have her background. but playing off the trend of his past works, her character type is always linked to the OP character. even her data sheet is a stark contrast to gojo's.
add the fact that gege keeps saying how much utahime hates gojo, how gojo always makes fun of her; just really painting their relationship in a bad light - it would be a heartbreaking twist if at the end - gege shows us that, one way or the other, they love each other. that the heartless gojo actually knows how to love. and that utahime who hates gojo actually cares for him deeply. that the 'hates gojo most of the time,' actually has a 'but she loves him for the rest'.
that's going to gut me.
i mean, how much can she really hate him? when everything he's done is to protect everyone.
you know how mai has always said how much she hates/loathes maki? how she keeps saying that maki's weak and of no note? only for us to find out at the end that she loves her sister - and that she fucking gave her life for this person she says she despises. fck i don't know. gege knows how to twist relationships and stab straight right into your heart. so i don't know what lies ahead for gouta. i'm honestly afraid. i guess i'll enjoy all these funny bits of them while i can...

Nobara Moving Forward..
Funny how the Reddit forums related to denying Nobara's death are still going strong. So much, that there's an ongoing soft ban on Nobara copium theories. I haven't put much thought into how she'll make her come back (too busy absorbing crackhead theories I suppose), but I'll give it a try. Here's what I'd personally like to see for her character in the future.
Tumblr media
Starting off superficial - she returns with longer hair and undyed roots.
Background:
Before we dive into Nobara territory, let's examine her counterparts. The main four-man team of Yuji, Megumi and their sensei Gojo, have had transformative character arcs:
Yuji: Introduction, Cursed Womb, Cursed Training, Vs. Mahito, Kyoto Goodwill Event
From a naive boy with a hero-complex to the only Jujutsu Sorcerer who almost uses Black Flash on command, Yuji had to become a quick study of curse energy in the past 6 months. He reached his breaking points multiple times but each arc he overcomes, making peace with taking lives if absolutely necessary and carrying the burden of the lives Sukuna took when he gained control briefly.
Gojo: Hidden Inventory, Cursed Child
After the death of Riko and near-life death encounter with Toji, he finally pushed himself and perfected his Curse Technique to become the sole strongest. He couldn't save his best friend from philosophical turmoil and realized strength wasn't everything. The system caused Geto's fall, so Gojo cultivated strong allies through education to overturn it, which leads him to save Yuta and Yuji from execution. Gojo is visibly less "Gojo" in the prequel, probably due to guilt but he reaches catharsis after mercy-killing his only best friend.
Megumi: Death Painting
Starting off as a delinquent in middle school, Megumi was on that Sasuke route: Excessively harsh and self-righteous. Already hypersensitive to the cruel nature of bad people, he put that anger into beating up bullies. He undermined his only remaining family, Tsumiki, but soon regretted taking her presence in his life for granted as she fell into a coma. Realizing he was a brat, he awaits the day she'll wake up to make amends and say sorry to his older sister. His character did a 180 as he matured and now, valued cooperation and respect, taking it to an extreme as his humility warped into willingness to suicide if it helps others. Gojo notices this and teaches him to be greedier for the real victory.
Their development is addressed in the Shibuya Incident arc: Gojo sees Geto's body for the first time since killing him, Yuji realizes he's just a cog in his fight with Choso and accepts he and Mahito are the anti-thesis of each other, and Megumi will not throw his life so easily when asked by Nanami in Dagon's domain.
Gege plans to end the series in the next 2 years. If the first 2/3 of the story focused on the men in her team, it's only natural that after facing death as a Jujutsu sorcerer, the story focuses on her for a bit.
Problem:
Tumblr media
Nobara's storyline hasn't closed yet. She has yet to reunite with her friends, Saori and Fumi. Although she accomplished her goal of living in Tokyo, she failed to maintain it when touched by Mahito's idle transfiguration. So I want to see, how badly she wants to remain true to herself by getting stronger so that something like that never happens again.
Nobara's values are like an immovable stone wall that didn't budge to Momo's perspective of sexism in Jujutsu society and she bested Momo because she was physically stronger. Only when something more powerful almost killed her is where I think she will listen and reexamine her philosophy and perhaps empathize with others.
Proposal:
Multiple redditors are convinced she'll return with Reverse Curse Technique and Domain Expansion, but that diminishes the rarity of RCT and DE. What's more plausible is if Nitta's CT, coupled with Shoko's RCT, let her survive the injuries. Whether Nobara sports an eyepatch or not, I'm game either way.
Instead of following the Gojo-route and learning last-minute Reverse Curse Technique, it's more natural if she went the Megumi-route and truly understood the interpretation of her own straw-doll technique.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Megumi learned how to properly make use of the shadow-medium, allowing him to step into the shadow himself. Nobara's teacher, her grandmother, shares the same abilities as her granddaughter and used the hammer and nail the one way she knew how. But this might have limited her from tapping into the full potential of her technique.
It may not be just the nails and hammer she has control over but any kind of steel, since the metal part of both hammer and nails are commonly made of steel (She's not called the Girl of Steel for nothin'). Not saying she's Magneto now, but she can activate "Hairpin" by infusing any steel material with cursed energy, working as a bomb awaiting detonation. Hairpin was already destructive, imagine if given enough preptime how much explosive power she could infuse on a steel framework structure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let's say Nobara reached her limits for physical combat and cursed energy output, she may get creative and explore other equipment to deploy her curse technique. For instance, nail guns, when modified, shoot just as fast as a real gun and provide long range fire. This way, she wouldn't have to waste time swinging at close quarters and simply lift her nail gun and bam! Another option is the sledge hammer.
Now, how the power-ups fit in the story: She newly awakens in the same hospital with Tsumiki and defends her from other curse-users. Maybe a portion of the hospital is undergoing renovation but was recently halted during the culling games player evacuation. All those construction tools lying around for Nobara to use gives her the advantage. Some curse-users are trying to barge in Tsumiki's room for easy points, but before they invade, Nobara appears with a make shift nail spiked baseball bat. Oh the gore as she racks up points bashing in their heads.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nobara & Tsumiki, and other innocents fortify the hospital as their new base and survive the Culling Games together, planting nail bombs on the outskirts. When tripped upon, if the shrapnel doesn't finish you off, a second explosion via Nobara's hairpin will (Very zombie-survivor-esque as we know Gege Akutami loves his references). Tension arises as Nobara would be the hardened survivor who doesn't mind killing, while Tsumiki, a newbie to the horrors of Jujutsu, would be against it. In a show of power, Nobara nails the hands and feet of her victims crucifixion style on the hospital's facade to send a message for other players not to mess with them.
Personal headcanon about Tsumiki: We know in canon that she told Megumi about the Southern Cross Constellation, so it's not far out to presume she was an astronomy enthusiast and a gearhead in middle school and the brain that creates these weapons for Nobara.
Tumblr media
The downfall of the hospital comes when hospital patients venture out for more resources and their base is sacked by more powerful players. Barely escaping, Nobara's ultimate move is digging very deep inside herself to infuse the steel structure with all her cursed energy reserves. When far enough, she detonates the building with the enemy players inside, finally accumulating a hundred points. The leaderboard bumps up and Yuji and Megumi notice their friend's name: "KUGISAKI NOBARA - 100 POINTS".
