SERIES FINALE – In the epic season finale, Mel (Melonie Diaz), Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) and Kaela (Lucy Barrett), along with Harry (Rupert Evans) and Jordan (Jordan Donica), have now discovered that the cabal of foes coalescing to bring down the Power of Three are actually working for an ancient evil that’s been laying dormant since the dawn of magic. This powerful dark force — known as the Lost One — will be the ultimate test of the strength of the newly discovered sisterhood; forcing them to rekindle their connection…or face the destruction of magic itself.  Kevin Dowling directed the episode written by Jeffrey Lieber and Nicki Renna (#413).  Original airdate 6/10/22.

i know 4x13 is from sam's perspective because dean says "i don't do parents" when the reality is that he is dying for someone to take him home to meet their parents. he wants nothing more than to charm a nice suburban family and be fed a home cooked meal and be fawned over like "oh he's so handsome" and "such good manners" and "what a strapping young fellow." dean would die to be called a strapping young fellow while a parent serves him a second helping of mashed potatoes and gravy.

Brittana AUs based on other shows

So I’ve been kicking around a bunch of these for some time and have had some trouble writing. Just thought I would throw them out there and if anyone wants to discuss (or write them, feel free lol). 

Lucifer!AU: 

Santana as Lucifer and Brittany as Chloe Decker. Imagine their partnership starting out and Santana is just wickedly charming but at times insufferable to Detective!Brittany, who’s just trying to do her job, but admittedly finds Santana useful in solving crimes.  And of course the ex-Lady of Hell doesn’t really understand why Brittany seems immune to her charms and finds herself even more confused about why she’s only vulnerable around Brittany. It starts as business but there are also times where Brittany finds that with her unpopularity at work over a previous incident, Santana ends up strangely enough being her rock and someone she can trust to have her back and of course, over time they fall in love. 

I could also see Quinn as Amenadiel - Santana’s overbearing angel big sister who starts off on the sanctimonious side, but their relationship eventually develops and Quinn learns the value of humanity and that angels are perhaps not above it all. I feel like Puck would make a good Maze - Santana’s long serving ally, who learns to have some level of care for humanity, but may also flip his allegiance to serve his own purpose. I’m not sure who would really suit Dan Espinoza - right now I’m thinking Sam as Brittany’s ex-husband and fellow detective. The way he and Santana would snipe at each other in sort of Glee 4x13 vibes (Santana calls him “Trouty Mouth” of course in place of Lucifer’s classic “Detective Douche”), but he’s definitely got a more goofy/fun side and he and Santana develop a complicated friendship. 

Suits!AU

(fun disclosure I only got up to like halfway into season 3 of suits)

Brittany as Mike Ross and Santana as Rachel Zane. I feel like you could technically flip this one around, but I went in this direction because of the whole secret genius thing. Think about college dropout, secret genius, down on her luck, Brittany - by a total fluke - ends up impressing Quinn (Harvey Specter) at a job interview she wasn’t supposed to be at and getting hired as an associate despite lacking a law (or college) degree. She then meets Santana Lopez, the daughter of a big-time lawyer of another firm, who’s trying to make it on her own and working as a paralegal. There’s definitely an attraction between them as they spend a lot of time helping each other out at work, but Brittany is torn, since she’s lying to Santana (and everyone) about her law qualifications. And then eventually we get THAT scene in the season 2 finale in the file room, where Santana and Brittany have a confrontation and the truth comes out and Santana is angry, but they ultimately end up hooking up, which leads to them starting a relationship. 

Also, I had Quinn pegged as Harvey, so I’m kinda thinking Rachel Berry as Louis Litt lol.

day 4. deliver me from the billy burkening

Rizzoli & Isles 1x01, 1x08, 2x15, 3x01 (2010-2012): i used to watch R&I when i it was first airing and i fully thought his character fuckin’ died. everything about this character is great. he’s smart, fun, charming, styling’s impeccable. i’ve been taking screenshots of each of his characters and most folders have 2-8 pics but this one has 33 so yes good excellent also i learned about another tattoo of his that i hadn’t seen before. 12/10 would watch again

Feast of Love (2007): as someone who hates Love Actually, this was worse than Love Actually. my man’s literally naked for the majority of his scenes and that does not redeem this movie at all. i watched it for free and i want my money back

The Closer 4x13, 7x16, 7x21 (2009, 2012): i cannot take Kyra Sedgwick's accent seriously good GOD. absolutely nobody on this show is likeable except Billy, which is wild when his character is objectively reprehensible but he just runs circles around the cops and it’s so much fun. very excited to see him show up again in Major Crimes. one of his best characters so far. he’s delicious from start to finish
