Shere did not often have time to spend doing fanciful things, between the volunteer work that he did, lecturing, the rehabilitation center, and making sure Tiegan was not entirely wild. So, when he had free time to merely sit and think, it was a time he enjoyed quite handsomely.

There was not much for it, really, but to draw, whatever came to mind. It had been necessity at first to draw during medical school, but he'd found he enjoyed it. Then, he became good at it. With a book from Al, he'd honed his skills and was now working on the sketch for a large fantasy piece, hoping to add it to his portfolio.

That was, of course, when he felt eyes on him and realized he was being watched. The Vaagh glances up, pencil hovering over the edge of his sketchbook, and realizes he is being watched by a young man.
