Hope this doesn’t come off as rude or anything but I’ve noticed that you have been using both Petrova and Petrov for Elena, and seeing how she was born and raised in Russia, she would be most likely only use Petrova and not Petrov if she identifies solely as female.

On that same note, El sounds fine if she picked it out herself or was given the nickname by the international scene, but the most common Russian nickname for that name is Lena and the variations of it.
