it's wrong to feel entitled to being able to dictate what a person does with their appearance, even a celebrity or public figure. unless that person is thomas sanders PLEASE shave the beard and grow the hair back out it just looks so uncanny when he's in costume as the sides

I don't think it's really the beard, I think Thomas has just aged out of the ability to play the sides at their current state. Particularly Roman and Virgil.

#ts critical #<- I guess?#Virgil was already getting worse but angsty teen does not work anymore when Thomas is and looks 34 #And Roman is. Roman. Which isn't endearing when he looks like someone in his 30s; he just looks like an asshole #The sides have to be forever trapped in April 2019 because production is at a snail's pace but cc!Thomas isn't #and it's starting to effect the vibe #in that you can see the passage of time but none of the characters are changing #Weirdly enough I'm not bothered by Patton at all though since he's entering the age of an actual goofy dad #But y'know maybe I've just lost affection for the series #I'll articulate my thoughts on the state of the writing properly at some point but that point is not today

(Been a long time coming: Time to combine two great loves of mine!)

Hello and welcome fellow simmers (and simmers-to-be!)

This challenge is inspired by the 2015 Thunderbirds Are Go animated TV show. Play as a legacy challenge, with each generation inspired by each character, or create the Tracy family themselves and complete each character’s goals and aspirations in one wild ride!

Note that this is not a timed challenge and there’s no requirement to share your journey, it’s very purely for personal fun <3

This challenge has of course been influenced by my own interpretation of characters so feel free to tweak the challenge to suit your own desires.

This post incorporates the BASE GAME ONLY as it’s intended to be accessible to everyone and well.... EA made the Base Game free! So if you’ve never tried it, now could be your moment :D Plus this way, you don’t need to buy any explansion packs. However if you’re a dedicated Sims player and have spent years giving your money to EA like I have... don’t worry, I’ll also post a Part 2 (right here!) that involves at least the packs I have :D

Using cheats or incorporating mods are time-honoured traditions in The Sims and I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether or not you include them. However, I’ll direct new players here for a rundown of basic cheats if things get overwhelming regarding money or Sim needs. Note also that you can turn off aging in settings to make it easier - there’s a LOT to do in a lifetime!

After the longest intro ever, I thus present the Thunderbirds Are Go! Sims 4 Challenge :D

Jeff Tracy

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy

Traits: Self Assured, Perfectionist, Ambitious

Career: Astronaut, Business (Management branch)

Goals:

Complete the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration

Reach Level 7 of the Astronaut career then switch careers after the birth of your third child to Business (Management Branch)

Creating the yanbois in Sims 4 and "accidentally" trapping them in the basement:

(I was inspired to do this after Nick creates Fone and Krow in Sims 4. And please dont attac me, ik their appearance is not accurate bc there's a limited male cc that fits on them, and im using mostly maxis match cc bc alpha cc is not my taste so yea, its hard to find exactly the hair and their exact ootd. Just doing this for fun, instead of doing my laundry and going to grocery)

DAY 1:

- MC just invited them to a dinner party. They didnt suspect anything, maybe MC just like the basementcore aesthetic they've said. Until they realized, the door wont open and MC is nowhere to be found..

- its time for a group huddle with Mallows (the cat in a bee costume) as their advisor. Mallows keeps going down in the basement, maybe bc Fone is there? Idk but yea, im just going to make him my warden. Mallows will be MC's eyes.. But something happen:

- well, Mallows the Cat in a Bee Costume, is a strict warden. He keeps hissing and ends up fighting with Nova and Fone (the betrayal). Everytime they do group huddle, Mallows are doing jiu jitsu on them 😂 The reason: Mallows just woke up and choose violence that day.

-and theres Friend, the type of roommate who loves to clean, like the first thing he do is judge my kitchen counter and brushed it aggresively, like hey its not even dirty!? Friend doesnt care that he has been trapped in a basement. The most important thing is to make this place clean. The entire time, besides Mallows Wrestlemania segment, Rens infamous Mac & Cheese and the group meeting, he goes back cleaning and washing the dishes.

- and here is Ezra questioning how MC pulled a reverse uno card on him and yep! thats the face of pure regrets of eating Ren's Mac & Cheese. (I missed to take a screenshot of that moment when Ren is cooking Mac and Cheese, Fone and Nova keeps teaching him how to cook, Ren dropping the salt shaker in the pan and Ezra being the first one to eat it)

- Nova and Harper fighting for this one bed, even tho there are 7 beds. They keep doing a staring contest, whoever blink, will lose this bed (like its always this bed, sometimes if Harper is the one who sleep on this one, Nova would sleep on the floor instead of choosing another bed 😭 Nova, i have this urge to put a vent on the basement just to spite you.. Stop sleeping on the flooooor!

- Ren and Krow napping peacefully on their first day as long as Ren promised to never cook again. And yes, finally they used their own bed! They discovered that the bed I put in there is for sleeping not for just aesthetic n shit, praise the lo-

- and a rare photo of Fone exercising 😊 after turning off the tv everytime someone watches it. Fone cares about MC's electric bill. Be like Fone. I refuse to use motherlode so you really need to save on electricity guys.

- and introducing MC, was recently turned as a vampire and instead of buying a blood pack, they choose to build a basement, and put all the yanbois and make them her own blood bank.

Will try to add the another yanbois like Virgil, Robin, Morogh, Henry, Keith, Ten etc. Just hoping that my Sims wont crash 🤞 (bc the maximum household members including pets are 8, so i think but im hoping that it will not be laggy when I add another batch of yanbois hahahahaha, i can hear now my pc cursing me in c++ language 😂)

Of course, i have to do Vanessa 💗 💗 Vanessa is not my first V, i tried with another one but i didn't vibe with her. I explained in this old post how Vanessa was born in my mind. And she was my Christmas gift because i created her december 24 ! I deeply love my pink queen, and i just want to thank people who love her too 💗 with this community, she found friends (and me too !)

The left one is truly her first pic and as you can see, she didn't change a lot since her creation. She had the hair that mostly female V had and those FUCKING TATTOOS x) i don't know why i chose these ones instead of Valentino one (n°1 in CC) ... and as we couldn't change on console, she kept it ... I didn't find a lot of pink clothes on her, maybe because i prefered stats before style most of the time, but she was a gold girl

As Virgile, mostly horizontal pics, console limitation : Was so fun to play with her, stealthy sassy streetkid 💕

PC

First thing i did on PC : change her tattoos ! Was my first mod, create her own tattoo, spent so much time on PS to place them well (and then i edited them later) ♥ + arms tattoos mod then, i just improve her beauty : gold cyberware, body complexion for abs, golden eyes, jewels ... and HAIR ! I played with her so much, she's pretty with everything, that's insane ! I also start doing real VP, thinking about poses, lights, and many stories for her.

The middle one with this hair is still one of my fav pic of Vanessa. I don't know why, just i vibe with !

With time, i learned to do proper portrait pics, playing with reshade, editing with Photoshop, DoF, lights ... And i didn't add much mods to Vanessa, except a rig to have hips (best mod). Vanessa still has 7 mods (doesn't count jewels, and hair) and i'm happy with her like that

She's my baby girl, my pink queen and i will never have enough to take pics of her, she's my best model !!

And bonus : first Vanessa/Valentin pic and the last one ! they also have a big glow up !

Okay, so I made this pretty early on in writing the story and had a lot of fun with it. This place is basically a maze. The room sizes actually vary as they are bigger on the inside than the outside.

The grey is hallways and the red lines are approximately where the doors are. CC are bedrooms meant for consorts and claimed. OR are rooms that are meant for other royalty. The herb room and magic room are penciled in because I haven't made a concrete decision on their placement. Virgil's study and the purple room don't exist yet.

There are a lot of empty rooms because, as you can tell, the royal quarters are meant to be housing a much larger royal family. To make up for that the current royal family has made interesting use of some of the rooms. You'll notice one room is a ball pit and that it is located next to the ballroom. I'm very funny.

Fun Fact: the tennis court exists purely because it's a rich people stereotype on Earth and Remy thought it would be funny.

Other Fun Fact: When Roman tried to cut off Virgil's arm he had Virgil cornered in the hallway between the green room, ball pit, and ballroom. If Virgil had known the layout a little better he would have realized he could have just gone through the ballroom and out one of the other doors.
