Also, I was really curious about one thing. You mentioned how your next fic will probably be divided into two iirc and that made me wonder if one day you’d ever write a chaptered fic? I would absolutely love to read something like from you cause more chapters would mean more room for plot and character building without feeling constrained to a certain word limit!!

HI ANGEL don’t apologize I love love loooove getting these kinds of questions !!

Favorite genres. I do love contemporary romance within the realm of strangers to lovers or common romance tropes within contemporary romance, especially friends to lovers or a specific dynamic / occupation like bartender x reader, professor x reader, etc. I like these because I feel like there’s so much you can do with the pining and the sexual tension leading up to when the characters finally get together and it’s so much fun to illustrate sexual chemistry. I love characters with a small barrier between them- i.e. one already has a significant other, they initially hate each other in the beginning, it’s a “forbidden romance”, etc. I feel like when done correctly these can be particularly fun and sort of break the boundaries of what you’d normally expect from these relationships!

I actually never mentioned this on main™️, but I have also been working on a sci-fi romance based in the realm of a “high-tech Tokyo cyberpunk metropolis” setting for quite some time, and it’s been really exciting to illustrate, but also there’s so much you can do with plot and character development that I really love about the genre. It definitely won’t see the light of day on this site, and even then its farrrr too long (I think just chapter 1 alone sits at roughly 15K words) but I’m set on the direction I want it to take and when it’s finished I’d love to get it physically bound into a personal copy if possible. My sister’s been pushing me to get it professionally published and she’s really into the plot, but I would have to be both closer to its finish AND know what I want out of a publishing site because I’m nottttt about to have my work professionally stolen. 😭 it does also currently involve 2 skz members for visual inspo (but obviously names would be changed upon hypothetical publication). But yeah! Lil fun fact in addition to my other projects 🌃

I would love to create a chaptered series at some point! I definitely have to go through my current “to write” list and see what can best be broken out into chapters, but I think scheduled releases and taking the time to really build out characters and plot developments is super fun. Perhaps after my next release I’ll see what works best and see how I can do chapters 👼 I’m glad you brought this up because it crossed my mind briefly but I honestly didn’t think anyone would care for chaptered work and I’m excited to see there’s still appetite for it on this site !!

Yet another voidkin rant

Another one of these, cause why nottttt (I'm bored, also need to talk myself into believing my own identity because I have a lot of struggles with generally trusting myself)

I am a psychological voidkin, but it's also a mix of spiritual for me, but before I get into that, I'ma rant about what this identity means FOR ME, not for anyone else, FOR ME.

So identifying as voidkin for me is feeling like my experiences, my life, my stories, everything is endless but it's also just begun. Literally like the void, it's an endless thing but it also has just begun if that makes any sense? That's the psychological part of it, I feel like I've experienced everything and nothing, that my life stories are infinite but also non-existent. Now the spirtual part of it is I am a huge believer in past lives, I'm a spiritual snow leopard therian and I'm that way due to a past life. The spirtual part of voidkin to me is I feel like I've had infinite lives, but this one is where my story, my experiences, and everything that matters to me personally is beginning. I feel like in all of my past lives (which really do feel infinite and eternal for me) I never got to the point where my "story" or my "development" could start and this life is where it's starting for me but also every single life is a new start, every day is a start. If this doesn't make sense what I'm saying is I relate my past lives (which feel infinite) to my voidkin identity, although I don't believe I ever was a void. I believe my lives were eternal but also everything in them has just begun.

This is my rant at the moment, sorry if this was all over the place and made no sense

I must always play coy about my intentions with Ramsay so I don't spoil the upcoming chapters, but suffice it to say, things will nottttt go as well for him in this fic as they went in canon (so far, at least. Bro is so dead in TWOW).

I'm actually a bit of a closet Thramsay enjoyer. Not cause I think it's like, a healthy dynamic or anything lol (and I actually really dislike BDSM-style takes on their relationship), but Ramsay is an indelible part of Theon's life. "Dark mirror" is a good word for it, as both Ramsay and Theon (to me at least) show the cracks in the north's righteous facade. Theon is called a turncloak by the very same lords that fell in line behind the Boltons after the Red Wedding, and Ramsay's horrific treatment of him (not to mention that of Jeyne Poole) goes almost completely unchallenged. Not to say Theon's some innocent darling, but even Robb implicitly agrees to his torture, which is... interesting, to say the least.

There's just so much thematic juice to their dynamic, from the class tension to the "revenge" Ramsay enacts on Theon. Ramsay devises the scheme to murder the miller's wife and sons (to pass them off as Bran and Rickon), but he is, himself, the son of a miller's wife. He's baseborn and, yet he gets away with the rape and murder of a widowed highborn woman (Donella Hornwood), and his resentment of Theon's highborn status is why he made Reek, who is Ramsay's servant. In ASOS onward, he is the malignant tumor that the north refused to eliminate, he is the rot that has been left to fester, he is an indictment of the north itself (now I'm getting kinda dramatic but you get my point).

I promised absolutely NO Reekification of Quen in this fic, and I don't wanna give away what I've got planned, but if I had to spitball about what Quen-Ramsay might look like, well...

It's Not Good. You're right that Quen has nothing to inherit, though she had some use as a bride/link between houses. Unfortunately, the only way for Ramsay's ruse to work in this fic is if Quen is dead (or presumed dead). So either he kills her, or keeps her alive as his captive, but death would probably be preferable... 😬

Anyway, thank you for another lovely ask! I have Thoughts about Ramsay and his place in the narrative, and it's been fun just throwing stuff out there lol.

Night Route, The Twilight Zone (2002) (spoiler alert)

An English professor is casually walking her dog at night until a black car almost hits her. Windows completely tinted, she heckles and continues on her route back home. Before going in, she notices an unfamiliar bus stop on her street, where all the passengers as well as the bus driver is staring at her (on some creep get on da bus shit). She goes home to her fiancé and throughout the episode is in preparation for her wedding with her mom trying on dresses. Of course she talking about the bus to her peoples like something weird is going on and they think she going crazy. She begins to forget certain events like how her and her fiancé met, people she never seen before knowing her name but after one of her students come up to her reciting a Dickinson line about death, I knew the zone was up to sumn. Either she in a coma or that bus bout to take her up yonder cause it’s been following her everywhere she go. Finally after some revelations of her potential passing, the bus driver talk to her like get yo ass on this bus we been waiting too long, even her dog got on it like it might be fun or sumn but she is not letting up. Then the truth come out, babygurl got hit by that car and died, her fiancé was some man that lived across from her that thought she was mute, she wasn’t a professor, she worked at a cafe and always walked her dog, who got hit too (was dead) but is now alive. The bus was life! Ain’t that some shit?

My jaw dropped after finding out the twist and then she say “I should’ve got on that bus” as she pass away. yes Melina, cause now you done caught a flight with the lord.

Jokes aside, this episode holds a special place in my brain.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished for my delusions to be true, to become the reality of my life but to realize that I’m dead in limbo got me punching air til I pass out.

K but SO TRUE. Why are the hottest character's so hard to write its nottttt fair. Like i wanna write fics all day about illumi, chrollo, hisoka, dazai, gojo, levi BUT they're all impossible to be accurately written cuz their characters are just so confusing!!!!

I literally have to do research about this characters if I ever wanna write them. Like for Illumi, I watched thousands of video essays on youtube and I feel that really helped me understand his character, same for Gojo. If you're having a hard time laying these characters on paper, I'd definitely recommend watching character analysis videos! Also character wikis are extremely helpful as well.

Honestly, i don't really know much about chrollo but he looks like a shut in if that makes sense. I don't really think he gets out that much, and he doesn't seem to have very much contact outside of the spiders. Despite the fact he looks pretty happy alone, solitude really gets to people, eventually. It's a spur of the moment kind of thing, impulsive. Maybe you were some rather pesky hunter getting a bit too close to finding his tracks, or maybe an innocent civilian too naive not to smile when you bump into him. Either way, he has you now, and it's pretty much a guarantee you won't get away.

I don't really like Hisoka because his character as a whole just doesn't appeal to me. As you said, there's no way he could obsess over someone someone normal, they have to be a powerful nen fighter (and I don't really like writing op!readers, idk the whole 'scared, hopeless, submissive darling' just appeals to me more for some reason). But, at the same time, you don't have to be someone powerful, you just have to be useful to him. Maybe you're an extremely important associate of the Hunter's association. You're not a hunter, but for years you've been collecting extremely important data of strong nen users and their abilities. Your work is extremely confidential, and your estate is constantly under 24-7 surveillance. You're not even supposed to be affiliated with the hunter's association, considering how important your job is, but for some reason Hisoka gets his hands on your file, and from then, you're as good as captured. Hisoka has no problems getting through your guards, clawing towards your bedroom. It's kind of like a mission for him, to get to you. You don't even have the chance to scream before he's swooping you up, whisking you away to god knows where. The fact that the hunter's association will send their best to get you back is even more thrilling for him. You're like a drop of honey, attracting insects. All he has to do is keep you in his arms and he can crush as many bugs as he wants.

but by FAR my favorite out of the three is Illumi, and for me, he's the easiest to write. Honestly, I feel Illumi would be more inclined to have a normal s/o. To me, Illumi comes across as someone who's never really had anything to call his own. He's probably the most passionate about the Zoldyck name out of his siblings, but being the head will never fall to him, it will go to his brother. Killua who was never interested in picking up his father's crown, Killua who'd rather run off into useless adventures than come home and take care of his family. It's not jealousy, but it burns inside of him. He wants something, but everything belongs to Killua.

It might also have something to do with the fact that Illumi didn't really have anything that relied on him. He's the eldest Zoldyck sibling, his mother always told him that he'd have to keep an eye on his younger siblings, but they've never really needed him, have they? And whenever he does try to coddle them they're always so dismissive of him, running away or trying to stab him with blunt kitchen knives.

Just for once, he wants to hold something that won't try to bite him.

It won't really matter where you met, if you had even met at all, or how he got you, but you're here now, with him.

He can hold you as much as he likes.

okay I know you've heard this a lot but PLEASE write these characters! They're really hard to write but once you write a fic about them it feels so good! Like you're achieving the impossible or something lololol. If you want, you could take some of the ideas i listed out here, just be sure to tag me so i can read it ESPECIALLY if its an illumi fic I need more yandere content for him.
