Everyone starts treating Virgil Differently after his acceptance, but especially Logan. Reaching out and fixing the strings on his jacket, running a hand down his jeans, petting his hair— hell, even going as far as to lightly rub a thumb across his eyeshadow, careful not to smudge it.

It's odd at first, though not unwelcoming... Logan sits as close as humanly possible to Virgil and asks before touching him. Virgil doesn't... mind... (okay, he definitely doesn't mind it. It makes him feel all... happy inside. Gross.)

Virgil has also noticed Logan's other ... habits... even before he got accepted. Like batting at glass cups or getting distracted at red dots (Roman teases him ruthlessly with it) (he doesn't think Logan finds it as funny).

There's one night, when they're tangled up, that Virgil swears he faintly hears Logan purring.

It doesn't take long for Virgil to realise this is Logan's way to show that he's... accepted. That he's valued. Cared for.

And, a few years later, when Logan is troubled and dealing with orange hues, Virgil isn't hesitant to reach out and fix his tie or to pick the fluff off his button-up.

Drew some fanart of @korruptbrekker ‘s cat!Virgil because I love him. Took a few self-indulgent liberties, but the bulk of this design belongs to them. The crop-top hoodie continues to baffle me, but damn it if it isn’t fashion.

Also I’m convinced that I’ll never color anything as well as I did these shorts and that’s very sad, but I’m sure I’ll get over it eventually lol
