Late to reply, and I know my opinion doesn't mean much, but I had always assumed Tina's adopted parents were in an interracial marriage - that she has one Asian parent and one white one. In Diva (4x13) you can see a picture of 2 Asian people in her locker (above the pic of her & Blaine). They aren't Glee characters, so I assumed family (cousins maybe?) from her Asian parent's side of the family. But the pic and people in it are never mentioned so they could be anyone.

​Okay this makes A LOT OF SENSE. Unfortunately for me this doesn't fit my fic but yada yada this is my fic and I decide the reality of the situation (which means I still need to find an in-fic-universe to explain Cohen-Chang) BUT I WILL NOW ACCEPT THIS AS CANON FROM NOW ON

Klaine December Fanworks Challenge!

Hey Everyone!!

Polls have been tallied, the people have spoken, and everyone wants some December Klaine action!

So this year we'll be launching the

December Klaine Fanworks Challenge!!

What does this mean?

DAILY PROMPTS

There will be daily prompts beginning December 1 and ending December 21. Hopefully this will give everyone who wants a daily prompt plenty of opportunity for that, but also give participants time to complete the challenge and still have time for whatever holiday celebrations come their way. These daily prompts are not themed in any way and come from a random word generator I found online.

WEEKLY PROMPTS

The weekly themed option was a popular choice, so we're going to try it out! The theme for this year will be Christmas Songs, and each Friday for four weeks there will be a post featuring a Christmas song with a sampling of lyrics from that song to inspire you to be naughty or nice.

Write either or both! Mix and match! Whatever works for you! Not a writer? Fanart is very welcome!!

We'll be joining forces with the @todaydreambelieversfic blog to boost the fanworks, and will let you know what you can do to help in the coming days!

Also, for now we're going to keep this challenge on the Klaine Advent blog (brought to you by Klaine Advent, as it were). Hopefully this won't be too confusing...

Look for a post on Thursday with more details but please reach out with any questions before then and we'll try to get them answered.

Happy final Six Some Sentence Sunday of the year!

Don't you just love it when the last day of the year is a Sunday? It just feels so tidy to start a new year on the first day of a new week lol

I'm still working on Pas de Deux, my story for @esilher as part of the @klainesecretsanta2023, of which I've just posted the next chapter.

Instead of some sentences, I have decided to share six lessons I learnt this year, either about writing, about myself (as a writer), or just through my writing. Thank you to everyone who's been a part of my process this year, and I'll see you all tomorrow for even more fandom love! 💖

Writing is fun. Harder than most things I've ever done, but fun.

Being evil can be fun, too. Just not indefinitely.

If you put on one specific playlist every time you work on your multichaptered WIP, you might as well call yourself Pavlov because now you can't write without it. Sigh.

If I ever hire @quizasvivamos to edit something for me professionally, she should charge me per comma. She'll get rich in no time.

My family is weird. But that's okay, French culture is too. That superstitious custom we have of obsessively making eye contact with each other when we toast or click glasses, just so we won't have seven years of bad sex, is not just us being nuts. Apparently it's a thing in France, too. I'm still gonna keep joking around with grandma about it not mattering for us anyway, though.

Community. We all need it, and I love the one I found in this fandom more than I can put into words. With 7 siblings, I never thought I needed many friends, but what I didn't realise was that I was just waiting for you all to arrive. I love each and everyone of you, no matter if we're friends, mutuals, followers or just passing each other in the tags. You've made my life richer than I thought it could be, so thank you for that.

And on that note, a special shout out to all the people who've been a direct influence on my journey this year as both a writer and a person. There are many more I could name, but at that rate we'll be here till next year ;)

Anyway, let's get down to business. I really want to start writing my escort!au in earnest and I already have a small (very small) draft of the first chapter. Which is this:

The sweaty, heavy body of the man dozing over him does not let him sleep. Regardless, he would not be able to do so. He is afraid, nervous. And so disgusted with himself. He barely has the strength to swallow the sharp lump in his throat. The only thought Kurt clings to in order not to sink into oblivion is his beautiful, sweet Phoenix. If only he had the courage to write him a letter and explain the reasons for all this mess, he is sure it would start like this: "My adored and wonderful Phoenix, I'm so sorry to be a disappointment and not to be the dad you deserve."

And my apologies to Stephanie @steph-luvs-klaine for delayed answer. I was kinda stuck and exhausted yesterday. So these are my answers

1.Favourite colour: I don't have a particular favourite colour. Yellow(orchid ), cerulean blue, baby blue, green,red,violet. I don't like peach green.

2.Last song: Spotify shuffles my list

So it's "What A Girl Is" from Liv and Maddy Disney channel(I've not watched this show,but I like the song)

3.Last movie: I m from India so Tamil is my mother tongue/native language.

I watched a crack movie called "thillukku thooddu returns"(meaning money for guts" ) DO this is 3rd movie of the franchise and honestly I didn't laugh much. Many cringey jokes.

If you want an English movie, it's Red,White and Royal Blue. It's perfect.

4.Currently watching:

Will it be wrong if I say nothing? I need motivation to watch. And more queerness😅

5.Other stuffs I watched: I don't watch much.

Let's see : Heartstopper s2(I watched this in one go), rwrb, barbie, some tamil movies (favourite of mine is Maaveeran (warrior) it had interesting what if story). I don't remember much

6.shows I dropped this year/didn't finish:

Many. To list: Young Sheldon, Young royals, Brooklyn 99, Assassination of Gianni Versace. I have to continue them. Someone give me motivation😭

7. Currently I'm listening to :

2 songs and a bunch of tay swift songs

I mean the vocals and story telling are just chef's kiss

8.Currently working on: Hmmm...I had my ENT ward leaving exam yesterday. I have to start working on my study habits, weight reducing, relieving back pain and especially mental health. And habit of writing Klaine fics. Completing wips.

9.Currently reading: Bunch of Klaine fics according to my mood. I need to start reading real books other than my medical books.

10.Current obsession: the first 2 songs I've tagged here. Klaine too. Fighting on glee reddit . Henry and Alex x london boy
