warrior cats life series au - skyblings

quick disclaimer - any of the parents of the skyblings aren't really being shipped i just think they would be really cool parents together. just adopt or steal a child and raise them as a family unit. nice.

also there's a tldr for each character because i have a lot to say.

okay, first is our favorite silly gal, pearl-

pearl's current name in the au is ravenmoon (воронья луна) due to her having a bird-shaped spot on her face at birth, which later covered more of her body as she aged.

raven/pearl is the child of the in-universe etho (currently named spiderweb but that's subject to change). etho and pearl's second parent were part of a group of cats living in the city, which split and moved to various locations after a disaster. etho learned about a clan of cats living in the forest and wanted to join, but his friend didn't share etho's interest so the latter went alone. he joined the clan but frequently made trips to visit his friend, ultimately coming back with a single kitten (pearl).

pearl/ravenpaw grew up in the clan, being a very successful apprentice. she didn't spend a lot of time with her father or her adopted family/friends (cleo&bdubs), instead inserting herself into her mentor's, impulse's, family and being pretty much adopted by his family once clethdubs group had jimmy and grian.

pearl finished her apprenticeship a moon earlier than expected and went on to become one of the most notable warriors the clan had. however, due to her constant arguments with cleo/burningstar and etho who became the clan's deputy, pearl exiled herself and travelled to the city, in an attempt to find her family. [some stuff happens after this, but i'll probably talk more about it if i continue working on the au :)]

tldr pearl is etho's kid that joins the clan as a newborn and grows up to be a very good warrior. however, due to constant conflicts with cleo (clan leader) and ehto (deputy), she exiles herself to look for her other family members. next up, grian!

in this au, grian is named pigeonpaw (голуболап), [getting the name pigeonsight (голубиный взор) in the future].

grian was born to clethdubs along with his brother jimmy. despite being fairly small, he was the healthier one of the litter, always active and interested in the clan's activity (which greatly annoyed anyone within his vicinity).

growing up, pigeonkit looked up to ravenpaw, who was praised by everyone in the clan for her abilities. however, because pearl didn't share his excitement, he barely got to spend any time with her. due to his siblings' absence, pigeonkit was forced to entertain himself, which led to his curious nature.

during his ceremony, pigeonkit was hoping to be given pearl as his mentor, since the latter had just graduated apprenticeship a moon ago and was the youngest and most available warrior in the clan at the moment, yet his wish didn't come true. it is rumored that ravenmoon flat out refuse to mentor him when that was suggested by burningstar.

grian was in his second moon of apprenticeship when, after a lot of yelling and fighting, his older sister left the clan. heartbroken, pigeonpaw turned to his brother for support and helped him get used to apprenticeship. [again, i have more ideas for grian's character, but they are quite ambitious].

tldr grian is a clethdubs kid who is very active and always getting into trouble. he looked up to pearl a lot and was heartbroken when she left the clan.

the last poor soul is jimmy ->

his name is (obviously) canarypaw (канареечка) [his name will likely be canaryheart (канарейкино сердце) or canaryfall (канарейкино падение? павшая канарейка??) when he's older).

jimmy was born alongside grian to clethdubs. though he was a larger kitten, he was slow to open his eyes or start walking. at a couple moons old, he got extremely sick and had to spend a long time in the medicine den. as soon as he got out, however, he was seemingly cursed with bad luck: always getting in trouble together with his bother, but always being the one most hurt from doing so.

after the young kitten's fur was covered with scars and cuts at the ripe old age of four moons, burningstar decided it was best for him to be mostly confined to the clan's camp for his safety. canarykit was expected to become a medicine cat apprentice, yet he argued his way to becoming a warrior apprentice just like his brother.

for his safety, however, burningstar ordered him to take an extra moon of kittenhood so that he could properly recover from his wounds and begin apprenticeship at 7 moons old. despite being jealous of pigeonpaw, canarykit obeyed and didn't leave camp without permission for the whole moon.

canarypaw wasn't too upset when pearl left the clan, as he was never too close with her, or anyone outside of his parents and brother.

tldr jimmy is a very sick child with bad luck, who is forced to wait until 7 moons to become an apprentice due to his poor health (and luck).

feel free to do your own takes on the au and whatnot, because the chances of me finishing it are very slim.

also, i based this au on an au soyka and i started last may, so some of the names and positions mentioned here are her idea! we share the blog tho so it's not like she's gonna um not get credit lol :)

Introduction #1 - Grian & Pearl

Heyo! My name's Calypso, and I'm here to offer you my part drawn, mostly written Warrior cats Hermitcraft and Empires AU. It's something I would like to post as a fully written story on AO3, but I already have way too much work on my hands on that side, so Tumblr is it! Plus, it allows me to do something of my silly doodles x)

Sunbird (Grian) and Moonflutter (Pearl) were born in Watcher clan, the most powerful of the four clans living in the forest. They are known as a very secretive clan, so no one really knows what's going on inside of it.

Like all the kittens in Watcher clan, they became apprentices around four moons old, but their mother, Skysight, refused to leave her kittens die for a clan that can't recognise their value and orchestrated their escape. At barely five moons old, Sunpaw, Moonpaw, and their brother Canarypaw ran away from Watcher clan, and stumbled into Pinetree's clan territory.

Sadly, they ran into a dog on the way there, and lost Canarypaw trying to escape it. Not only that, but Sunpaw fell from a small cliff, and would have died if it wasn't for Voidstar and his apprentice at the time, Ghostpaw.

Somehow, Sunpaw fully recovered from the fall. After that, Voidstar welcomed them in the clan, but despite the leader's approval, their origin is something a part of the cats have trouble accepting. On top of that, Voidstar decided he would put the two apprentices' training on hold until they reach six moons, to Sunpaw's biggest disappointment.

Sunbird is an orange, short tabby tom with whiter parts of fur and brown eyes. Mentored by Voidstar himself, he grew to be a calm, yet somewhat cold cat, known for his talents of fighter. However, he was never able to fully leave behind his past: too scared of having to go back to Watcher's clan, he won't allow himself to break a single rule of the Warrior code, no matter what he has to go through. He's also a fierce protector of kittens, often seen around the nursery, keeping an eye on the kits. But the beliefs he was born and spent his early moons in keep clawing to his head in the form of one unique cat. He doesn't understand how Scarheart, Pinetree clan's second medicine cat, a cat that would have been deemed as useless and weak in his birth clan, could have been kept around for so long...

Moonflutter is a short silver and gray tabby she-cat with white paws and blue eyes. Mentored by Thunderrush, she grew into a fierce fighter and talented hunter. Unlike her brother, she knows that as long as she doesn't become a liability, there's no reason for Voidstar to exile her, so she make advantage of that... Sometimes a little too much. Beside her deep bond with a feline of Sunset clan, she doesn't have a lot of friends in the clan itself. Not for her past as a Watcher clan's apprentice, even of it plays a role in it, but more for her character. Most of the days, she tend to be very pleasant to be around, a fun company and a cat who gives great advices. But on the other days... Best case, she becomes grumpy and lonesome, which is manageable. However, during the worst days, she's irritable and aggressive to anyone who is not Sunbird or Wolfkit. Combined with Watcher clan's reputation of being bloodthirsty cats, not all the cats are ready to put in the effort of learning to know her personally, repulsed by her instability.

Annunciation Eaglewing was in the medicine cat den, waiting for Squirrelstar and Ivypool to arrive, his heart hammering in her chest. The she-cat didn't expect things to happen like this, it wasn't in the plans, but since it happened like this, there's nothing she can do, she doesn't feel regret, sadness or fear, just a great euphoria. Squirrelstar and Ivypool enter the den, Squirrelstar had a worried look, Ivypool had a serious look. The two sat down next to Eaglewing. "So what did you want about?" Squirrelstar asked. "I'm pregnant," Eaglewing meowed, looking into her leader's eyes. The two seemed to relax a little, until Squirrelstar looked at her two kits, Jayfeather's shoulders were tense and Alderheart was nervous. "Who is the father?" Squirrelstar meowed with uncertainty as to whether she should ask the question. "Actually, it's the other mother…it's Pigeonfoot…from Skyclan…" "Skyclan!" Ivypool snapped before lowering her voice, "are you having a half-clan kits? With a Skyclan warrior?" "Well, it wasn't in the planning, we never even considered having kits because none of us wanted to leave our clans, our home, our family" Eaglewing lowered her ears and snuggled into the nest. Squirrelstar sighed as she looked at the younger cat and as she couldn't help but remember Leafpool, perhaps it was the longing and love for her sister that made her judgement, but it didn't really matter. "What do you want to do now?" Squirrelstar lay down and curled up his paws, looking like a loaf of bread now. "…I'd like to tell her" "So it will be, I'll talk to Leafstar about it, for now focus on your kits, okay?" Eaglewing nodded, silently thanking Squirrelstar for his treatment.

The birth The she-cats had asked their respective leaders to remain in their own clans, Pigeonfoot agreed that no matter how many were born, they would stay in Thunderclan, she just asked to see them at birth. Fulfilling her promise, a Thunderclan patrol came to get Pigeonfoot when the time came, the she cat had never run so fast in her life, when she arrived at the Thunderclan camp, Eaglewing was still in labor. "Welcome, you seem to have tired the patrol I sent" complimented Ivypool. "We came" she caught her breath "from Skyclan here running, without resting" Eaglewing family, Pigeonfoot, Ivypool, and Squirrelstar's waited together, even as Blossomfall glared at Pigeonfoot. A step of paws later, Alderheart appeared in the doorway, smiling. "She's fine, the kits were born strong and healthy, there are two she-cats and a tom" Alderheart announced. Pigeonfoot felt her heart burst with joy and everyone could see the sparkle in her eyes. She asked permission to enter, which was granted. She walked with big steps towards her mate, Eaglewing looked tired and the kits were already feeding. "They're so cute" Pigeonfoot meowed, Eaglewing agreed with her.

The left Curlewpaw, in her ten moons old, informed that she would no longer remain in Thunderclan. "What?! And where else would you go?!" Canarypaw meowed "Skyclan" "Do you want to stay with mother Pigeonfoot?" Duckpaw asked. Curlewpaw nodded. The gray she-cat looked at her mother, expecting anger, but there was no such thing in her expression, but concern. "Did you talk to anyone else about this? You're not going alone, are you? Obviously not, I'll be taking you there, I would never forgive myself if something happened" Eaglewing said to her kit. "Are you just going to accept it mom?" Canarypaw said in surprise. "The thing I want most in the world is the happiness of the three of you"

Anyway i finally done @sootslash warriors challange! This is Canarypaw, a local loner that cause a lot of discord in the clans for the simple fact that they have a star mark on their forehead that is only found in leaders who has nine lives, and Canarypaw is the size of a kitten.

That was years ago, and nowdays Canarypaw is a cryptid figure around the lake territory. Many sightings of Canarypaw show them hangging put on the trees or around the twoleg place but no one ever actually interact with the guy other then their first appearance.

That and once in a blue moon occasion where Canarypaw will come down to the gathering, in which they will sit themselves beside a cat and stick by said cat side until their eventual death.

This is an omen of a difficult life full of obstacles for whataver unlucky cat is stuck with Canarypaw. "A start of a story" is what Canarypaw said to their new victim. When said story eventually end or said cat is dead, Canary will say "Your story may end here friend, but mine goes on" before going back to whataver hole they came from.

Personality wise Canarypaw is sassy, mischievous, and vague. They're laugh at people struggles and loves chaos. They will trigger you, rail you up, or leave your sobbing to their amusement. Theyre a bit of a drama queen, and always form a strange friendship to whataver cat theyre stuck with.

Also their starry design is what they look like to the omen cats. The stars shines and glitters even during the day.

Anyway i hope you guys like the lore i made up for this little guy. Will i explore this in the future? Maybe,

now 4 the Deaf/blind/mute trio..

they're 3 out of 7 siblings and the closest of the bunch. since they were kits, they did their best to figure out how to talk to one another. sesameflower (mute) obviously has to rely only on body language and other sorts of signals to speak to shadedhaze (Deaf), while shadedhaze can act as brazenheart's (blind) verbal translator. in return, brazenheart speaks verbally and also relies on natural body language to speak to shadedhaze.

sesameflower became a warrior with their abled siblings while her brothers had to take more time, especially brazenheart. their mentors were hardworking and determined individuals and the boys finally caught up to their sister

shadedhaze adopted two kits (snakepaw and canarypaw, snakepaw is blind herself) and it's a cute family dynamic. shadedhaze gets a wife. her name is swallowbrook. swallowbrook is also HoH. love

here’s my warrior x life series fanfic I never finished 👍

The moon shone on the dark forest. A strange figure with white fur sat atop a cliff, gazing down at the forest below.

"The time has come, the time for this place to belong to us."

It started to walk down towards the forest, past the warrior's camp, and to the Moonpool. It stared down at it and whispered down to it; "and nobody will be able to stop us. Not even you."

...

Canarypaw was sitting at the entrance of the apprentice's den, waiting for Longpaw to wake up. It was supposed to be their warrior's assessment today, how could he sleep in? Canarypaw decided to wake him up on his own. 

"Hey! Longpaw! Wake up!" "Wh- Huh? The hell do you want from me...?" Longpaw retorted drowsily.  "It's our warrior's assessment today!" "I know that!" Longpaw hissed, standing up. "It's not 'till sunhigh, mousebrain!" "And? It's almost sunhigh-!" Canarypaw was cut off by Grían, "Are you ready?"  "Yes!" "Sure." "'Sure' won't get you anywhere, Longpaw." Grían hissed at him. "Now come on, we don't want to be late, do we?" 

...

They were walking through the forest, Grían told them to find five pieces of prey and bring them back to camp. Canarypaw had already found three. He was walking confidently when he found a yellow bird on the ground a few fox-lengths away. He crouched down and started to stalk towards it. Right before he was going to jump, Longpaw jumped over him and caught the bird swiftly. "Hey! What was that for?" "What? You took too long, so I got it for you. Be a little faster next time." Canarypaw glared at him as he walked away. He loves to take the spotlight... Longpaw's POV Ha! It's too easy to mess with that mousebrain! Longpaw trotted away from Canarypaw, searching for his last piece of prey. The sun was lowering when he began his trek back to camp. He had no idea where Canarypaw was. Probably bumbling around like a cat on catnip, he thought. When he reached the entrance to the camp, Grían was looking straight at him, his eyes narrowed.  "WHERE IS CANARYPAW?" He screamed at Longpaw.  "I don't know!" Grían whipped around and yelled for Brightscar.  "We're going to find Canarypaw, Brightscar! Nobody can find him. We've searched the entire forest."

Canary in a coal mine...

Where am I? Canarypaw scrambled to his paws, breathing heavily. All around him was darkness, it was as if he was the only thing lit up in an endless abyss of black. He yelled out but no sound came. He stood there for StarClan knows how long, in shock.

to summarize, the story is about a Stagclan medicine cat named yewblossom who has a vendetta against weak cats due to a bad experience in her apprenticeship, which leads to her loosing a few too many cats for comfort. It follows the point of view of her and her new apprentice, Deerpaw, who has to traverse the treacherous path yewblossom is trying to set them on, alongside the deputy, Patchleap, and their friends.

all of this takes place after Troutclan takes advantage of Stagclan during a particularly ruthless greencough outbreak and attacks them to claim some territory that sadly results in many casualties, due to injuries or sickness, including Yewblossom’s beloved mentor, Hickoryshade. This sets her on her warpath and instills within her a dangerous principle: the weak should not get in the way of the strong.  so basically if warrior cats took eugenics in the clans more seriously and addressed how fucked up it is
