Hello world of 2022, how do you do? 🙋🏽‍♀️🌍 It's been a long old time since I've been here, so I thought I'd introduce myself.. My names Caldey & I'm a Creative Designer/Artist. I've made the decision to evolve @itscaldesigns to include not just Graphic Design, but my Arts & Crafts too. I hope you stay to enjoy the journey 💞 I'm interested in gaining new clients & paid opportunities from the Arts & Craft world - DM me for a chat on how we can work together 🤗 That's where my real joy is, getting messy with different materials, experimenting with texture & colour, exploring my mind through a paintbrush, sewing needle or wool (or whatever else excites & delights me). Since my last post, so much has happened. We've all been there, so no need to go deeper into that one. What I do want to share is working with @craftmydayltd - The most magical studio full of everything to get your creative juices flowing. It's like Aladdins Cave, but the treasure is craft materials instead of gold 😁🖌🎨🧵✂️💰 It made me realise that although I do love using a computer to design, I absolutely ADORE creating magic with my hands 👩🏽‍🎨🎨 As everything work-wise dried up, I was forced to dig deeper. What I found was my inner-child asleep in the sunshine, with a colouring pen still in my hand as I lay there colouring in. Not a care in the world, just basking in the sunshine on the doorstep of my beloved family home. What more can I desire than to be so rested, so full & so content? So that's what I've been doing really, soul searching, connecting with my inner-child to make sure she is happy & working with my inner-elder to discover the true path to my riches. I'm in the process of creating various craft items.. what brings you joy? I look forward to sharing more with you & now the secret is out, I look forward to working with you too. I'm still a Graphic Designer, but I'm so much more than that. I don't have all the answers 🤷🏽‍♀️ I work fuxking hard to be the person I want to be, the personal I am, the person you see. It takes tears, tantrums, triumphs and tribulations, all while trying to figure out what this warped sense of life and everything in it, is all about. I read self-help books, follow self-help pages, I put empowering music on that covers a lot of musical genres. I follow olders, youngers, men, women, thems and theys. I do what I can to expand my sense of self and what I want to represent in this world and what it is that represents my world. I do what I can to grow & reach higher than I've ever been. I treat everyone with the same respect & energy. I have down days, I have happy days, I have days that are a mixture of everything with no time to take stock on what's gone on. I'm not always positive, I don't always shine bright and sometimes tbh I just want a lil bit of violence or a lil oldskool style fight (obvs this doesn't happen 😅, so I dance & shout instead haha 🗣💃🏽🦁). Somedays I feel badass, some days I feel pretty and sometimes I just want to be a slob & eat everything shitty. Who gives a fluff?! Honestly?! Just do what the fuxk you want as much as you want. Who has a right to suggest anything different?! WHO?! If you're living happy & not harming.. See this tree on the left? It is completely disconnected and even lost connection to it's roots, but the tree on the right is having none of it. My love has pushed himself to a new chapter as well which is bringing some BIG ENERGY.
