The packaging made me do it (also the cheap price) - my first product from The Ordinary, the caffeine solution 5% or easier, an eye serum. ⁣ After reading some very enthusiastic and very negative reviews I decided to try it myself. Guess what, I think I’ll join the enthusiastic group of people! ⁣ I always felt like all eye creams were the same cause I never noticed any difference. Except the midnight recovery from @kiehlsbel but you can only use that one in the evening. This one from The Ordinary is my new favorite for the mornings. I feel like it make me look more awake. #MiniReview: So today I decided to share my insights about this product after several weeks of usage.🤓 • • • ☕️The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG ☕️🍃 • • • ☕️Claims: • Reduces appearance of Eye Contour pigmentation and of puffiness. • Light textured formula contains an extremely high 5% concentration of Caffeine supplemented with highly purified Epigallocatechin Gallactyl Glucoside from Green Tea Leaves. • • • ☕️ Color: Clear, Yellowish (Beer-Like🍺) ☕️ Consistency: Gel-like ☕️ Scent: None • • • ☕️ My Thoughts: This is one of the The Ordinary products that I first acquired and I honestly did not expect a lot from this. I know for a fact that under eye circles especially the hereditary ones are not easy to treat. Though I do not have an extremely dark under eyes, my main concerns are some crows feet/fine lines and puffiness due to consistent lack of sleep. During my initial usage of the product I was surprised by it’s cooling effect. It really does cools and feels so relaxing. Finish is a bit tacky so I wait a little for it to be fully absorbed by my skin. It does minimize the puffiness of my eye area but it’s not very hydrating that is why I usually add another layer of eye cream to my regimen.
