-He mostly calls you sweetie, sweetheart, and dear

-Mostly comes out when he’s not thinking about it at all, like if you surprise him or something

-He’s a little embarrassed by it the first few times until you reassure him

-He likes being called anything, honestly! Just the fact that you have terms if endearment for him is amazing

-He does have a soft spot for sweetheart and the more sweet terms like pumpkin tho

-It makes him feel so fuzzy inside

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

-In public? Doll, sugar, sweetheart, hot stuff... typical tough guy pet names

-In private? Honey, sweetie, babe, less stereotypical and more fuzzy names

-You swear you heard him say bunny once. He denies it

-He warms up to pet names pretty quickly. He’ll probably call you the tough guy pet names before you’re even together as a tease

-The more intimate ones take a bit longer, and the first time he does it he is hyper aware of it and watching your reaction

-He doesn’t use them too often, mostly in public, honestly. He likes your name

-He likes being called love, dearest, angel (be careful w this one tho), anything that reminds him of just how much you love him

-Ohh this mans, only the highest quality names for his dear love

...What? What? No. Not you. Anyone but you. He can’t believe he let this happen. There must’ve been something he could’ve done. Maybe he should’ve spent more time with you. Listened more closely to what you said. He could’ve prevented this. He’s lost for days. It takes someone else snapping at him for him to even begin to come out of his desolate haze. He finds himself angrier than he’s ever been when he finally does snap out of it. He may still blame himself, but the real reason you died was because of this game. He’ll put an end to it. For you.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

Guilt ridden. He immediately and irreversibly blames himself, even if it’s obvious that it wasn’t. There was obviously something he could’ve done to save you, some sort of sign of what you were about to do, and he didn’t see it. He doesn’t care if you did it to save others, Fuyuhiko is incredibly selfish when it comes to people he cares about, and he’s convinced that this was not the best option. He becomes even more angry than he was before, but he’s somehow also softer than before. He’s not as explosive, not as ready to fight with others. He’s closed off and distant, and anyone who tries to get close will only get empty threats. Anyone who tries to comfort him will regret ever talking to him. He’ll never forgive himself.

Gundham Tanaka

He thinks everyone is lying to him when he first hears. He has to actually see your body in order to realize the severity of the situation, and even then he still expects you to pop up and laugh at how shocked he looks. He struggles to keep his tears back as he realizes that you’re actually gone. He keeps up a frail facade to everyone else, but it’s obvious how broken he is. His eyebags get darker and darker, he loses more of his unique mannerisms and keeps to himself even more. He deludes himself into thinking that someone else killed you, and will lash out at everyone until it’s finally confirmed that you killed yourself, where he finally breaks down in open sobs. He’ll keep to himself more, but soon others will see he has a newfound energy to avenge your memory by stopping this cursed games.

Kazuichi Souda

Completely and utterly broken. He just can’t understand why you did this. Even after hearing why, or reading a note you may have left, having others explain it to him, he just can’t grasp it. He has a hard time coming to terms with it. He’s slightly convinced that you’ll just wake up and tell him you’re joking. He blames himself heavily. Maybe if he had spent more time with you, you would’ve felt like you could trust him enough to talk about this. You two could’ve figured out another option, he’s convinced. He’s lost all energy he’s had in himself, and others have to drag him out of his room in order to get him to go anywhere. The only way he’ll gain any type of energy back is if someone convinces him you would want him to keep on living. Even still, he’s quieter and more distant, even if his light hearted personality stays in place.

Nagito Komaeda

Nagito is... lost. You were his one ray of light in this place, and you’re gone. How is he supposed to keep going? He’s convinced that it’s his fault. He rambles for too long to anybody who will listen. Talking about how he shouldn’t have gotten close to you, how he knew this would happen, how selfish he is for allowing himself to grasp at happiness when he knew what happens when he allows himself that. And now you’re gone. You let him feel hopeful about living again. He can’t sleep. He doesn’t eat. Others will see him as more irritable and more prone to lashing out during trials; he doesn’t try to keep up his cheerful shtick for as long as he usually does. He throws himself full throttle into manipulating the trials and everyone around him. If there was anything you would’ve wanted, it would be for hope to perspire, right? Right?

Nekomaru Nidai

He won’t hide his his surface level grief. He’ll openly shed tears when he finds out about your death, and even more when he finds out how. He still keeps strong for the sake of others, only fully breaking down in private, but he’s not shy to grieving for you in front of people. He needs time before he’ll be able to comfort others. He’ll grow distant for a while, and to others it’ll just seem like he’s deep in thought. He wonders if he could’ve saved you if he had done something different, but it’ll take a lot to get that confession out of him. He bottles up a lot of those guilty thoughts, but he still tries to find motivation in your death to keep going. He knows it’s what you would’ve wanted. He comforts others in their grief this way, too.

Teruteru Hanamura

He’s broken. You were such a sweet and comforting soul, and you... chose this? He can’t help but feel angry after it really sets in. You left him. You left him in this goddamn trials and you knew that you were one of the only people he really trusted. He’s not really angry at you, he could never be, but he doesn’t know how else to handle his grief. His flaunting facade is poor after your death, the others can clearly see just how badly he’s taking this. He only really talks if someone talks to him first, and even then it takes him a second to zone back into reality. He’s an easy target, and, unfortunately, probably will be meeting you again quite soon. Whether it be by someone else’s hand or his own.

Byakuya Twogami

The most he’ll show in front of others is a tear rolling down his cheek, and he struggles to keep his composure. He’ll hastily wipe it away and snap back into his persona. He can’t find it in himself to insult you or belittle your death as some may expect Togami to, but no one pays much mind to it. In private, he’s a mess. He can’t keep his sobs from ripping through, but the only indicator of this is that his eyebags are growing darker. He’ll be quieter and more solemn for a while, but if asked, he won’t admit any grief. He may let it slip to Hajime that he feels responsible, but that’s as far as it’ll go. He’ll never forget you, and never forgive Monokuma for what he’s forced you to do.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

-He knows you’re lying about something, but he really doesn’t like the answers he’s coming up with in his head. So, he denies everything in his head. He knows a liar when he sees one, though

-When it comes out that you’re the traitor, he jumps straight to defending you, cursing out everyone around you two and battling down every accusation

-The more he hears their arguments, the more he doubts himself, and you. All of those times you sneaked off, that you very obviously lied about something... it starts to make sense to him, but he refuses to believe it

-Once you confess he immediately shuts up. He won’t cry, but you can see the twitch of his eyes and fingers, signalling that he’s very close.

-He’ll be silent the rest of the trial, only letting out one “Why?” before he avoids your eyes the rest of the trial

-Even if it was blackmail, he still can’t believe that you would not only lie to him, but help that fucking bear in this fucked up game.

-He avoids you like the plague after the trial, no matter what you say to him. It’ll take something huge, like you or him almost dying, for him to talk to you again

-Even still, his trust in you is forever broken

Gundham Tanaka

-Denial, denial, denial. He refuses to even entertain the idea until it’s right in front of him, and even then...

-His dearest Y/N? No, no! Never! How dare anyone even consider the possibility!

-...Until you’re outed, or you confess. Then he shuts up in pure shock. He sputters out a few weak denials, but spends the rest of the time silent, staring through you

-All of this time... you were working with Monokuma? Helping to kill your dear friends? He thought he knew you. He trusted you. He loved you.

-If it turns out it was because of blackmail, he comes back to his senses slightly, and tries to cover it with his usual bravado while defending you again.

-Still, the fact that you helped kill some of his friends, and were going to keep doing it? How long until you killed him?

-He breaks up with you after the trial. He can’t stop looking at you and thinking about how you might’ve killed him next. He has nightmares the rest of the game and is inconsolable, and he feels intensely guilty about it.

-Maybe if he had seen it sooner, he could’ve stopped this from happening.

Kazuichi Souda

-By far one of the most emotional. He denies it like his own life depends on it

-Even when you confess or get outed, he’ll still deny it vehemently. He even starts tearing up in the midst of the debates

-He breaks down when you finally confess, stuttering out broken pleas of your name and asking why

-If it was blackmail, he immediately goes back to defending you, stuttering out “S-see?! Th-they wo-wouldn’t- I-I knew-!”

-Insults anyone who goes after you, even jumping in front of you to argue with them

-It doesn’t really set in until after the trial. He freaks out hard, wondering just how many deaths you had helped planning, how many you planned to do in the future...

-Were you planning on his death, too?

-Once he gets that into his head, he can’t stand to be in the same space as you for a while. He has nightmares about you now, and he feels awful about how anxious he is around you

-Your relationship ends without any words, and he’ll never look at you the same again, no matter how hard you try

Nagito Komaeda

-Nagito is a very, very smart man, and perceptive. He probably suspects you within the first few days, and it hurts. Whether he finds it hurts because you didn’t tell him or because he doesn’t like how you’re helping... well, he doesn’t really know

-He figures it’s some sort of blackmail, but he can’t be quite sure. He’ll poke around really subtly and figure it out for himself before anyone else

-Either way he’s on your side until the end. Nagito is very dedicated to you and simultaneously very unstable and dedicated to hope during this killing game. It’s difficult to tell which he cares about more sometimes.

-Even still, he won’t sell you out until it’s absolutely necessary. You’re still his lover. He cares about you, traitor or not, potential for a hope step ladder or not.

-He’ll help you out with your jobs, even if you don’t ask or tell him to. You’ll find him “accidentally” helping in the beginning when you don’t know he knows

-He helps you stay alive when others figure out you’re the traitor. He’ll lie for you, he’ll kill for you, manipulate... all to keep you safe or to keep the battle for hope going? It’s hard to tell when he gets that look in his eyes...

-All he wants is for hope to prevail. A traitor is the perfect way to test the hope of your friends, right?

Nekomaru Nidai

-Probably the calmest out of everyone. He takes a moment to be shocked and yell before taking a moment to calm himself down

-He wants to jump to conclusions and be angry, but he reigns it in. He doesn’t know the full story. He’ll save his anger for later. He’s very good at regulating his emotions when needed

-Scarily calm when questioning you, but his eyes are more intense than you’ve ever seen them

-He’ll snap if others get too into accusing you and insulting you, but he tries to keep it under wraps. He can’t blame them, though

-If he finds out it was blackmail, relief floods his body, and you can visibly see him relax a bit. He focuses on that.

-Even though he’s defending you to other people, he can’t help but think of his dear friends that he lost... just how involved were you?

-He ends up breaking the wooden stand in front of him thinking about them. Your relationship is put on hold after this revelation. He can’t stop how angry he feels when he sees you, even if he can try to calm himself, he ends up snapping at you

Teruteru Hanamura

-He honestly suspects you a smidge before it comes out, but he denies it to hell so much that he convinces himself it isn’t true

-He can’t help but doubt himself late at night, though...

-“Wh-wha? No, no, no! Y-you’re lying! They wouldn’t ever do somethin’ like that!”

-He becomes nigh unintelligible when you’re accused, hurling insults at everyone non stop until someone (you) shuts him up

-He’ll immediately start sobbing if you confess. He trusted you so much, you were his sweetheart! His everything, the one person he could go to... and you... helped this? This whole thing?

-If it turns out it was blackmail, he’ll thrust right back into defending you, even if you’ve officially broken his trust

-He’ll distance himself from you heavily after it comes out, even if you show that it wasn’t your choice, but deny it if you confront him

-Every time he sees you, his dead friends flash through his head. Were you in on those deaths, too? Was he next before everyone found out?

Byakuya Twogami

-Another one who knows before it’s revealed. If anyone knows how to pin a lie, it’s him

-He’ll confront you about it as soon as he’s sure, and he’ll make sure to keep it empathetic and understanding. There’s no way you did this out of your own volition, right?

-If you come clean and admit it, he’ll protect you the best he can. As long as the reason is because of blackmail, at least

-Honestly even if it isn’t he’ll have a hard time letting you go

-He’ll lie and manipulate others to keep you safe for as along as possible. He doesn’t like manipulating his friends, but he will for you

-He’ll defend you the second that it comes out in public for everyone else

-Stays by your side almost all the time after everyone knows to keep you safe

-He feels hurt that you didn’t tell him at first, but he understands why. He’ll be a bit more reserved for a while though, and he grapples with how he feels about you a lot

-On one hand you’re hurting everyone else, but did you really have a choice...? He really hopes you didn’t.

Can I get some good ole sdr2 boys with and an s/o who barely notices major pain? Like, that paper cut was a nightmare, but they could take a sledge hammer to the knee and they'd hardly react?

Yes absolutely! SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT//

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

-Very concerned. He’s worried that someone is going to try and hurt you and you won’t even notice until it’s too late

-Which isn’t too far fetched considering his ultimate

-He teaches you about safety and self defense, training you how to use some weapons and also kick ass

-Becomes more protective over you. He starts making sure you’re okay each time you see him. A little annoying, but he has good intentions

-Offers to take you to a doctor to see if there’s something wrong with your pain receptors

-If you come home majorly injured and he’s the first to notice it, he will kind of freak out

-Depending on whether it’s life threatening or not, he may call an ambulance or just get someone to drive you two to urgent care

-Kind of blames himself whenever you get majorly injured. Even when it’s not his fault. You have to reassure him that you’re okay, even if you do have to wear this new dumb cast for a while

Gundham Tanaka

-At first he thinks you just mean you have really high pain tolerance, and he respects and admires that

-“How did you acquire such strength?!” Lowkey he wants to learn to have that much pain tolerance as well

-Then one day you scream out in pain and nearly collapse on the floor, and he is terrified. What could possibly hurt so bad for someone like you?!

-Turns out one of his hamsters just bit you on the finger... now he’s officially worried

-He tries to cast some spells to help with how your body sends pain signals, but they don’t work

-He settles for taking you to a “lower being”, AKA a doctor

-He becomes a bit more protective over you, gently tugging you out of the way of an upcoming pothole while walking, reminding you of a step that you could trip on, etc.

-Enlists his Four Dark Devas of Destruction to protect you! He needs all the help he can get

Hajime Hinata

-He’s kind of baffled by it. How is it that you’re so apathetic to major injuries but cry because of a paper cut?

-“Y-Y/N! What happened to your leg?!” “Wha-? Oh. Huh, I dunno, must’ve scraped it on something?” “There’s a hole in it!”

-Tries to think come to a logical solution behind it but he honestly is lost. He tries researching it and ends up lost there, too

-He’s worried there’s something wrong with your nerves, so he takes you to see a doctor

-He tries to be with you whenever you’re doing something potentially dangerous, like cooking

-Is always kinda worried when you go out alone. He just doesn’t want you to come back with a fatal injury and not realize it until it’s too late to fix

-He nearly dislocates his shoulder busting into your room when you scream... only to find out you’d just accidentally stepped on a lego

-He sighs, rubbing your back as you try and soothe your foot

Kazuichi Souda

-The first time you come back with a major injury you hadn’t noticed just yet, he screams louder than you have ever heard him scream before

-He almost passes out, too. “Y/N, holy fuck! You- your-!”

-Once he settles down a bit and realizes that you’re not reacting whatsoever, he’s really confused. Was this a prank on him?

-You explain that you just don’t really feel major pain. And then he gets really eager all of the sudden

-“Really?! Wow, that’s so cool! Can I hit you?!” He’s so interested in this that it’s almost weird. Almost. He just likes learning how things work, so you’re not that surprised

-He’s really curious about it, always asking questions. But he’s also secretly really worried, which is another reason he asks so many questions

-One day he sees you crying on the floor out of pain and almost calls an ambulance. And then you admit that you just stubbed your toe, and he’s back to being really confused about your pain tolerance

-Makes excuses to go places with you that you would usually go to alone. “Oh, you’re going to the store? Th-that’s great, I need to go there too, a-actually!”

Nagito Komaeda

-Doesn’t think much of it until you come home with, like, a stab wound after being mugged or something and hadn’t noticed it bc it was somewhere you couldn’t see

-THEN he starts to worry. How many times had you been majorly injured and just didn’t realize? You, his precious Y/N??

-No, no. This will not do. He is not risking losing you!

-So then he takes you to about every doctor he can think of, getting second opinions, etc.

-You have to sit him down and soothe him, but he’s still a little shaky about it. He eventually returns back to normal, just a little more openly protective than before

-“Hey, Y/N! Welcome home! How’s your body?”

-Worries that his bad luck will impact you, too. He may distance himself a bit after learning this

-You’re able to rope him back in after a lot of reassurances

Nekomaru Nidai

-Luckily for you, he’s very skilled in knowing when people are hurt, even they themselves don’t realize it! As the Ultimate Team Manager he’s gotten very in tune with people’s bodies

-Still worries how you don’t feel much pain when it’s severe, though

-What if something happens and you don’t even realize before it’s too late?

-He tries to help. He offers to take you to a doctor, maybe he try and massage your pain receptors?? (It doesn’t work, but you appreciate it)

-Then one day you’re writhing in pain, and he’s in immediate protection injury mode

-“Where does it hurt, Y/N? Let me take a look at it. Let’s move you to a resting position.”

-And then he finds out you just hit your elbow on the wall and he lets out a huge sigh in relief

-He tries to be more wary about your injuries, and definitely makes you go to your yearly check up

Teruteru Hanamura

-Very worried about you. How can you not feel severe pain?! What if something happens to you?!

-“Y-Y-Y/N! Your arm!” “Huh? Oh, I didn’t even notice.” Meanwhile your arm is broken

-He tries to keep you away from the cutlery in his kitchen. He will not let you help him cook unless there is no chance you will get badly hurt

-So then one day, he hears you scream louder than he’s ever heard, and he’s positive his soul left his body. He’s never run so fast in his life

-When he sees you just have a paper cut he’s so relieved. And also frustrated. He was worried you actually died or something!!

-He has a habit where he just. Subtly checks your body to make sure you’re okay whenever you see him

-He’s nearly passed out so many times from fright when you come back with a major injury. He’s faint of heart, please be careful

-Always insists on taking you to a doctor whenever you say something “isn’t that bad”. Because that usually means it’s very bad

Byakuya Twogami

-Very worried. Very, very worried. Even if he doesn’t outright state it

-Insists you tell him whenever you feel even the slightest amount of pain

-You’ll catch his eyes roaming over your body multiple times a day to check over your wellbeing

-Will try to remind you to be more careful of your surroundings, especially if you two are in a place where it’s easier to get injured

-Will take you to the doctors, and even get a second opinion. He tries a lot of methods to help you out

-He nearly breaks your door off it’s hinges when he hears you yell in pain

-And then sighs in relief when he realizes you just jabbed your hip on the corner of a desk

-He holds your hand more often than before so he can pull you out of the way if necessary. It also just comforts him

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu

“Holy shit!” Fuyuhiko exclaims as you turn around to present your makeup to him. “Damn, babe, that’s amazing!” he praises, looking over your face. “It looks like you actually got beaten the shit out of,” he grins, “and I would know.” You beam at his praise, thanking him bashfully. “You should do this more often,” he chuckles, “It’s cool as all hell to see.” You thank him again, promising to show him more of your work.

Gundham Tanaka

“Ah, I see! So this is the talent of the Ultimate SFX Artist! Truly, it is a sight to behold! Such a manipulation of the body!” Gundham laughs, inspecting your face closely. “Wonderful work, my dear!” You grin at him, thanking him and pressing a kiss to his cheek. Gundham seems to realize how close he is to your face after this, and his face turns red as he leans back, tugging his scarf up.

“I-I’m enraptured by your deceptive process! I wish to see more of it!” You chuckle, nodding at him before reaching to your makeup wipes to start cleaning it off.

Hajime Hinata

Hajime gasps as he sees you, eyes widening in worry, “What happened?! Are you okay?!” He panics for a moment before realizing how calm you are at the situation, eyebrows furrowing. “How are you so-” he pauses for a moment before a look of realization spreads across his face, “Wait, is this makeup?”

You nod at him, reaching up to swipe a bit of the fake blood you have on yourself and holding it up to him. “All fake!” you clarify, smiling at him. Hajime sighs in relief, sitting down beside you.

“Geez, you really worried me there,” he says, watching you reach for your makeup remover. “It looks really good, I really thought you were hurt,” he praises. He smiles at you as you turn to thank him, beaming.

Kazuichi Souda

“Whoa! Y/N, are you alright?!” Kazuichi shouts, rushing towards you frantically. His eyes dart over your makeup, arms flailing in uncertainty as he tries to think clearly. “I’ll go get-! Huh?” He cuts off as you start laughing, realizing how calm you seem about the situation.

“Babe, it’s just makeup,” you say, reaching up to tear a small piece of it off, “See?” Kazuichi stares at you for a moment before it clicks in his head, and his face immediately lights up.

“Damn, that’s amazing! It looks so real!” He exclaims, now excitedly looking over your work. “Seriously, babe, this is awesome! Can I watch when you take it off? Oh, and when you put it on again next time?!” You laugh at his eagerness, nodding and reaching up to begin taking off your makeup.

Nagito Komaeda

Nagito has been pestering you about showing him your ultimate for weeks, now. You’ve always agreed, promising to show him eventually, and today is the day. Nagito is sitting beside you, enraptured as you apply the finishing touches to your makeup. You place the brush down, turning to look at him, gesturing to your face in a “ta da” manner.

Nagito leans forward, inspecting your face intensely, and if you didn’t have your makeup on he would’ve seen your red hot face. He smiles widely as his eyes search your work, “Wow! This is amazing, Y/N! Truly, the work of your ultimate talent is indescribable!” You thank him bashfully, and he leans back to take it in fully. “I would love to see more of your work if you’d let me!” You grin at him, nodding eagerly, causing his smile to spread further as he reaches out to hold your hand.

Nekomaru Nidai

You’re finishing up your makeup, excited to show your boyfriend Nekomaru. He’d been hyping you up for the past couple of weeks to show him your work, and finally you had time. Your back is currently facing him as you finish, wanting it to be a surprise to Nekomaru, who is waiting patiently while encouraging you every once in a while.

You check over your work one last time, nodding to yourself as you decide it’s finished, “Alright, ready to see it?”

“Yes!” Nekomaru nearly yells, “I can’t wait to see y-” he suddenly shrieks as you spin around, barking out a shout to try and scare him with your gore makeup. “This is outstanding work!” Nekomaru actually yells this time, getting up and walking over to you quickly. “Amazing job, Y/N! You scared me for a second, there,” he laughs easily, rubbing the back of his head. You smile and take his hand in yours, thanking him. Nekomaru grins at you, a light blush on his cheeks as he gives your hand a gentle squeeze. As you go to clean it off, Nekomaru offers to help- with your guidance, of course- and of course you agree.

Teruteru Hanamura

"Well, hello there, my dear,” you hear Teruteru murmur, slipping a hand around your waist, “how a-” he suddenly cuts off as you turn to look at him, revealing your makeup. “Wh-wh-wh-wh-” he lets out a piercing scream, stumbling backwards.

“Teruteru! Teruteru, it’s just makeup!” You try to soothe him, but he doesn’t seem to hear you, instead screaming incoherently. You grab a cloth and wipe away some of your makeup, showing him the rag with the excess. Teruteru’s screaming halts, taking a moment to process what he’s seeing, before he lets out a sigh of relief, rubbing his face with his hands.

“My word, you really frightened me,” he sheepishly states, his accent peeking through due to his distress. “Though, now that I know it’s not real, I’m thinking I have something that would look much better on your face,” he winks, though his voice is still shaky, and he’s avoiding your gaze. You can tell he’s still a little freaked out, so you do your best to reassure him that you’re okay while taking it off.

Byakuya Twogami

You hear a strangled shout from beside you, turning in surprise to see Togami, looking horrified, “Y/N, you-!” his eyes roam frantically over you before they stop at the makeup brush in your hand. He noticeably calms down, face returning to its natural scowl, “I see.”

You know better than to trust his scowl, of course, and reassure him that it’s all fake. You could tell he was just worried, and it warms your heart. You give him a smile, and his scowl relaxes slightly. “Warn me next time, I thought you were actually in danger,” he mumbles. You take ahold of his hand, squeezing it gently and apologizing. He squeezes your hand in return, and you can tell he’s holding back a small smile.
