These two have come so far in the past year with their ability to share mom cuddles - well, mostly Emma's ability. Thankfully she has had an easier time warming up to Phoebe than Shilo, but it still took time before she was okay with Phoebe climbing on me for cuddles when Emma was already attached to me.
Not only did they share me for 5-10 minutes, at one point, Emma even nuzzled Phoebe & licked her forehead & ears. 🥹

Has Prisma’s relationship with Gooey improved? Or is she still sort of unnerved by the lil guy? How does she feel about him being a Dark Matter?
"I've always liked Gooey...him being dark matter always frightened me though. But he's really not that scary...or maybe I'm getting a little braver?"

it’s interesting to see how taylor has always imagined her ideal partner as being courageous (“headfirst fearless,” “this love is brave and wild,” “you walked in wearing a football helmet and said okay let’s talk,” “don’t blame me love made me crazy if it doesn’t you ain’t doing it right,” “standing broad-shouldered next to her was a love that was really something….”) and how i think at first she thought that joe simply being willing to be with her felt courageous but then as she grew she realized that it wasn’t enough of that feeling because he wasn’t always standing broad-shouldered next to her, only when it was convenient for him. and that’s not fearless. that’s just doing what’s easiest

My headcanons for the named trio in The Cursing of Chateau Castle series:
Josephandre is a big bear. It just fits for him I think! He gets he/him pronouns, and as a way to make him a liiiil more relatable for Mira, he'd have two craft types (Rock type being his main one and paper craft for the other). Battle style wise, I think it fits him to be more of a self-sustaining tank. He buffs defense, heals, and puts up shields. For his weapon, he'd use his fists like Isabeau. He'll be the second fastest in the trio.
Lady Irene-Janine-Kanine looks like an elegant noblewoman on the outside but she has vibes similar to Euphrasie! She gets she/her pronouns. Her craft type is Paper. Battle style wise, she's more on the offensive side, a main dps kind of thing. Most of her skills focus on buffing attack and speed, she'd have an item that helps regen her hp a lil bit and her chosen weapon is an umbrella. The tip is a sharp blade so it's used like a spear that has a hidden sword in its handle. Open it, and it becomes a shield! That'd be one of her skills too, although it's only applicable to her. She's the fastest one of the trio.
Pierre-Jacques-Erneste looks like a nobleman and carries himself as such! He gets he/they pronouns. Their craft type is Scissors. Battle style wise, he's more of a debuffer, skills focusing on weakening the enemies, slowing them down, poisoning them. Their weapon is a sword dagger, though he doesn't seem to be able to handle it well, how clumsy! But he Is a nobleman so it makes sense! Oh but... why doesn't he have a title? They're the slowest one of the trio, how strange, he seemed to be faster than Lady Irene-Janine-Karine that one time though.

I wish the show had given us more glimpses into Xander and Anya’s relationship away from the rest of the gang. What we do see seems sweet, and they both are at ease and calm with each other in ways they’re not - for a variety of reasons - in public. In OMwF before the singing, Xander is content and excited to make them breakfast. And what we do hear about their relationship in front of the scoobs is snippets of Xander actively trying to help Anya integrate into the gang (and the world at large) and setting boundaries.
I know Xander’s “employee - employer vocabulary no-nos” bother some in both content and delivery; but to me, it’s representative of Xander’s understanding of Anya’s personality and both her attributes and limitations, and how hard he works to help her. He anticipates where Anya and Giles will clash, and works to mitigate those clashes to help insulate Anya from Giles’ annoyance and wrath. Xander sat down and came up with at least 5 but potentially more areas he saw where there would most likely be conflict, and worked with Anya to overcome them. He can’t go to Giles - he isn’t Giles’ favorite person either. But he can think about how to help Anya, and how to guide her in this one area. He puts so much more thought in how to help Anya have a genial relationship with Giles than he does for himself, and he wanted Giles to see him as a son at one point.
And when Anya does things he finds uncomfortable, says things he finds uncomfortable, he has conversations with her in private about it. "Ok... remember how we talked about private conversations and how they're less private when they're in front of my friends?” He isn’t perfect (and neither is Anya), but he does try to address his and his friends’ discomfort. And he eventually compromises. He either bends or accepts Anya’s ways, and even talks openly about being bathed in a sexy way, not a geriatric way.
Anya loves Xander. I believe it because she continually faces her worst fear - death - to be with him. But Xander wholeheartedly loves Anya, too. He’s snarky and sometimes cutting, but the sheer amount of *time* he spends on their relationship and Anya’s relationship with the others is his declaration of love.

Feeling very soft again thinking about how he just got back to work after being sick and the first thing he does is to come to my office and ask me to tell him all about what happened to me in the week that he couldn't be here. So I say something like "my supervisor had the audacity to criticise my paper despite saying that he hasn't even really read it yet" and I had been actually quite mad about that, but then he goes "Oh, but that's what you want, isn't it? Someone criticising your work, someone fighting back a bit?" And I stopped and felt my anger disappear instantly and I thought ... actually yeah, you're right, why are you right? Why was I even mad? Why do you know better what I want than I do?

my whole dash is exploding over shadow what on earth happened to his man Dates
one of the writers for idw sonic stated that the rules for writing shadow have changed a bit, specifically that theres clearer and more reasonable guidelines for how to write him, and that the upcoming issues with shadow in them were easier to write than past ones because of this

Ok I know a lot of people don’t like Bronev or make him out to be abusive as a result but I think its so much more interesting if he isnt?
It was said on multiple occasion that he was a good person that got consumed by his obsession with the Azrans
He’s just an asshole who selfishly made all the wrong decisions justifying himself by having to make sacrifices that ultimately hurt the sacrificed people, among which is his family, significantly more than himself.
And that creates so many interesting conflicted and contradicting relationships with various characters!! Bronev is an interesting villain!!
