Wouldn't it be messed up if the time travel in Ocarina of Time worked by putting Link in stasis for seven years but Navi was out and about all that time, just flying around for seven years to make time for when Link would awaken, and when he was sent back to his childhood she flew away thinking she had to wait those seven years but it wasn't like that anymore and unknowingly abandoned Link without meaning to?
Like, when Link goes to the Forest Temple, the Great Deku Tree asks Link if he has the courage after he asks about his wisdom, but not even 5 seconds later he's inquiring about Link's courage and NAVI'S wisdom. So what if that wisdom meant Navi knew Link was too little to face what was coming and knew he would spend 7 years in stasis. And in a roundabout way, by erasing those years, there was an error in which Navi still thought she had to wait—
All of this to say, if I end up creating my own Links meet au, this is totally gonna be a part of it

ive been meaning to make this post for a few weeks, and now that Lena's "I am not a wealthy woman, certainly not compared to your own family," to Gwen seems to have put a spotlight on it, here's my lil suggestion;
Elias Bouchard is a ministerial employee/politician, and the OIAR falls under his responsibilities.
Gwen's Bouchard surname already heavily suggests that she comes from a wealthy family, like Elias did in tma. Alice's "Let me guess, fancy gowns, champagne, bathing in the blood of the poor, that sort of thing," comment in ep3 makes that not just independently wealthy, but high class as well.
Then with Alice accusing Gwen of (benefitting from) nepotism in the first episode, it makes sense that someone in her family has a powerful position somewhere in the OIAR hierarchy.
All those are easy to notice, but one thing I haven't seen many posts about - in that same episode, Collin and Alice have this conversation:
ALICE: [...] Is it an app yet? Do we have a minimalist logo? I assume you’ve finished all the social features?
COLIN: Don't you start. I swear I'm going to shove a cable down that prick's throat, pull it out his ministerial anus and floss him to death.
and later, with Teddy-
TEDDY: Colin, mate, you know you’re never getting out of here.
COLIN: Christ, don’t say that.
TEDDY: Even if his nibs lets you off the hook, which he won’t, you couldn’t bring yourself to just leave.
Based on that, we can conclude that somewhere up the OIARs hierarchy, there's some managerial asshole who insists on keeping Colin around (for the app?).
So, combined with what we know from OG Elias in tma, and Gwens nepotism comments, until proven otherwise, that asshole is Elias to me <3
Something something secret identity dragonshifter HotGuy and CuteGuy (thank you for the comm!)
Some thoughts under cut
Ok they don't have to be secret identity (it's just too easy to make it that when they're alternative forms look completely different) but some form of dragon shenanigans? They're dragons now so they get slay powers by default but I wanted to give Scar something a little more, so he gets mechanical wing-like limbs that benefit him more than encumber him due to him having a very strong and sturdy build, and not needing to worry about flight (whereas eg Grian is very lightweight to be able to fly well and is better off without additions)
I REALLY wanted some way to replicate anything close to the Hotguy bow so there you go:
The mechanical limbs have full rotation etc so Scar can fuck around with them however he wishes
Grian can use his feathers as projectiles, comparable to bullets in strength with the speed at which he can hurl them, plus just crazy maneuverability and stuff I guess!!
And what exactly is dragon magic? Plot convenience that's what
I don't think Starkid fans realise how lucky we are with time-travel fix-its, since we literally have an extended universe with 5(technically 6) gods, one of whom has the ability to manipulate time, who all just really want to fuck with people.
