thinkin abt this one episode from cw’s supergirl but with spidey amphibia au

basically lena, kara, and some other woman i cant remember are at some L corp building or smth when it gets under attack by some guys with guns. kara tries to get away so she can quick change into supergirl, but lena cares too much abt her and doesnt let her out of her sight. she doesnt know that kara is supergirl and kara doesnt want her to know, so kara’s stuck with them as the three try to work their way to safety.

and its funny bc as they work their way through the building, kara has to keep using her powers to make sure they stay alive, but also while making sure none of them see her using said powers. yeah, lena is a badass and does a pretty good job keeping them safe, but theres only so much she can do yk? also, she keeps complaining abt how supergirl hasnt shown up yet and kara’s just standing there slowly losing her mind

anyways back to spider frogs. that whole thing but with the calamity trio. the three of them are in one of the waybright science buildings or smth while its under attack. marcy and anne try to sneak off to quick change but sash is all “NO WAY IM NOT LEAVING YOU GUYS,” so theyre all stuck together trying to escape. its even better bc anne n marcy dont know the other is a spidey, and both of them are trying to protect the others with their powers without letting them know, so its just pure chaos.

marcy keeps yelling to duck right as bullets are being fired at them. anne quickly forces a door open while the others have their backs turned. both of them keep trying to make excuses to separate from the group but sash is having none of it, and anne n marce are getting suspicious of each other. sash is only half paying attention to any of it bc hes stressed out of his mind bc her friends are in daNGeR AnD hOW TF IS SHE GONNA GET THEM OUT OF THIS AND WHERE THE HELL ARE THE SPIDER PPL WHEN YOU NEED THEM

and then when by some miracle anne and marcy sneak away and come back as spideys, sash is panicking bc WHERE TF DID ANNE N MARCY GO?! and the two cant get her to cooperate bc shes frickin terrified for her friends, but eventually she pulls himself together. eventually the threat is dealt with and marcy and anne let sash know theyre okay, but overall its just a stressful day for everyone

and he never does the homework and asks you for it in the passing period prior

and never does his half of the lab so you have to do everything

hes just always so sweet to you despite not knowing how to like,,,, function

he brings breakfast evey morning and at first you were like literally how can you have an appetite for anything as we are watching a cadaver tour on the projector

but like the boy brings good muffins and offers to share

so you bond over that

and its like a weird crush where you only have that one class together

and sure you have mutual friends and all but like

you don't wave at each other in the hallway if you see each other

its like a friendship that is exclusive to when youre in class with each other you know??

like how he really hates going to football games but he went to one his freshmen year and got spirit painted in the parking lot and made the school newspaper and has been drug along ever since

which might not be a big deal to some people

but he was like,,,, the face of the student body section at football games

and finding that out felt strangely intimate

because the two of you didn't even have each others numbers but yet you knew something youre sure he had only told a few people

and that made you feel special

and that part of why you had such a screaming crush on him

so prom season rolls around

and tbh you may or may not go bc like?? everyone has their preferences

but either way you definitely did not have a date

and hyuk brings it up in class one day as youre cutting a sheep brain open

and you say you don't have anyone to go with and might as well not go and the two of you just kind of leave it at that

and you typically wouldn't think anything of it

hyuk has never done anything to show that he reciprocates feelings for you before and tbh you are completely contented with admiring him over various embalmed animals

that is until youre walking down the hall later that day and you briefly make eye contact with hyuk

but mark jogs up to you and is like

“hey! what’s up?”

and it is so domestic and platonic and easy going that it almost takes you back

because you literally haven't spoken to this kid since freshman year PE when you had to take him to the nurse for tripping over the hurdles

“so,,” he says, clearly trying to fill the space that youre making awkward, “you’re friends with hyuk?”

so you tell him yeah, you have a class together

and then he asks you if you know who hyuk is going to prom with

and you rack your brain about the brief conversation you had in class that morning and you are pretty sure you heard him say he didn’t have anyone to go with

and mark gets this shit eating grin on his face and says thanks and runs away and youre like ????? ok

anyway the next day in class you kinda bring it up like “hey,,, so who were your friendos yesterday in the hall”

and so you drop it bc obvi hes uncomfy about it

and the rest of the class is cool

so you get let out for lunch and you sit outside by yourself like you pretty typically do when your friends have clubs

and you definitely don't expect hyuk to plop down right next to you on the grass

so you pull out your headphone and go “,,,hey?”

and he just smiles at you and wow your he A RT

and hes like “hey! i just saw you sitting out here and thought i would come say hey”

and ur like that's cool and all but you've literally never spared me a second glance outside of class that i know abt so what is ur motive

but apparently theres no motive???

and this happens for the remainder of the week until on friday he walks up to you but mark and jeno are behind him
