June of Doom: let the Suffering Begin by @unknooooow. Now these ones are dark. They have become my Roman Empire, so I think about it once every few days. But again, I love angst, especially realistic. :)

Double Visions by @daryfromthefuture. While there were many good ones this one stuck out due to it having the talk of Citizen Brown (the not-so-silly doc). And it's also very touching and captures the friendship spirit greatly!

Did you create any bttf fanart or fanfic? If you did, what one(s) are you proudest of?

My time to shine :) /j

I am especially proud of June of Doom chapter 11 (Better known as Doc Has a Stroke literally). It took me two months to write, and it is still the longest one chapter I ever wrote (3k words). Also! I am afraid of hospitals and blood, so I have no idea how I wrote it. Also believe it or not, it was inspired by the animated series...

One more writing project I am proud of is Alteration. It is not because of how much I wrote, but how much I am still planning, and how many Ideas I have for it. I have every single detail planned :)

With art it's a bit more tricky. Since I am not THAT proud of any of them, but BTTF 2 end scene redraw is still one of my favs :)

How many times were you late for school this year?

At least three times, due to reasons outside of my control. But I hate being late.

Did you watch any other movies/tv shows with BTTF actors in them?

My Favourite Martian (1999) Where Lloyd plays an Alien. I watched it because of my silly alien doc au. And I had an amazing angst idea out of it (I wrote it for June of Doom)

In the car. My parents are tired of me ranting about BTTF so Imagine me (not a singer) scream-singing Back In Time. :DDD

No...

How many times did your mom retell the story of how she and your father met?

Not many, maybe once.

If you could describe your year in a BTTF quote, which one would it be?

This one is the toughest.

It will either be "I repeat, Verne, this is a fool's errand." "Does that mean you're coming?" I always tagged along when I knew my friend was making a dumb decision.

Or “Why do we have to cut these things so damn close?”

Did you create any bttf fanart or fanfic? If you did, what one(s) are you proudest of? Oh gosh. I worked on quite a lot of fics. I think I’m most proud of working on my current WIP: Someday We’ll Find It. It’s been really hard writing it and getting time to write it, but I’ve just been chipping away.

How many times were you late for school this year? None.

Did you watch any other movies/tv shows with BTTF actors in them? I watched MJF’s documentary Still, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and Clue. I’m not sure if this counts, but I watched Zombieland: Double Tap which has Lea Thompson’s daughter in it (absolutely iconic in that movie btw).

Was there a memorable moment you heard a Huey Lewis song this year? I don't usually listen to Huey Lewis, but I listened to some songs from the bttf soundtrack while studying and those had Huey Lewis.

How many times did you fall down this year? I genuinely have no idea. I don’t think I fell down this year— at least from what I can remember.

If you could describe your year in a BTTF quote, which one would it be? “If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything!” I know it sounds cheesy, but it's true. I worked really hard this year and accomplished a lot. There were a lot of times where things did not go how I wanted them to, but I still put effort into making something out of it. I usually tend to focus on negativity and all the things I didn't accomplish, but writing this out really helped me remember a lot of the things I did accomplish.

This is probably what a lot of people would say, but i would make the parking lot scene at the end of the movie with the bullet proof vest reveal more emotional. Have marty full on sobbing, include the absolute sweetest hug you have ever seen, have more comforting words from doc. Turn it into a tearjerker because honestly it should be one imo

👀 head canon would be that Doc def makes T for Marty lol. But an original hc though, idk if it's really a headcanon if it's just completely changing canon events but I thought I'd be cool If there was an alternate timeline where the burning down of the brown estate was what I originally thought it was. A.K.A that it burned down when Emmett was younger ( so I was thinking 1931 or just generally when he still lived with his parents) and that he was really just left to take care of himself. This wouldn't be a huge deal at 18 or 17 but of he was younger that'd def be a problem. So not technically a headcanon but yeah :D (might make a drawing abt this 4 McflyJuly btw >:] )

(Sorry this took me eons to reply to; I wanted to think about it, then life things, then I forgot. Thank you time a bazillion for the ask! I love these!)

✒️ You are hired to write/draw a new BttF comic, and it can be about whatever you want. What in the BttF universe would you want to expand on?

At the moment? I would actually love the backstory for Buford's gang. I've worked up a basic background for Stubble already, but I'd love to know how they came to be in Buford's company.

Whereas being in Biff's gang in 1955 is more of an image/ status symbol than anything, Buford has to rely on these three men to do more than chortle behind him when he delivers a witty insult. Stubble, Buck, and Ceegar may be submissive to their leader in a lot of respects, but Buford also trusts these men to cover him in a shootout, do their part in a robbery, set up camp, etc. Yeah, they totally bailed once Buford was arrested in Part 3, but there was at least some level of loyalty, trust, and respect between the four of them to carry on their outfit and successfully commit dastardly deeds.

Getting a peek at how they became a group would be a lot of fun, I think!

send me a ⚡ and I'll tell you a random thought or headcanon I have about Back to the Future: The Game

The game makes it 99% canon that Doc knows how to code (though we technically never get a line in the script or see him do it).

In the beginning of Episode 1, when Marty is trying to get the courthouse model away from Biff, you can see this sheet in the background during a few shots. I can tell it's continuous form paper because of the holes on the sides and the green and white stripes. This was the kind of paper used to print coding outputs during the 1980s. I really enjoy the details in the game!

So, unless Doc had someone else write this program (which I doubt since it's information related to time travel), he can code. I headcanon the language Doc knows is Fortran. I also think that it's a skill he learned somewhat recently, maybe some time between the mid-70s and early 80s.

honestly? edna.

sure, biff did some awful things. erhardt is also an ass. but only edna was responsible for marty losing his best friend, and then having to go back in time and make emmett hate him in order to get the normal doc back. she also manipulated emmett and used his intelligence for her own intentions and tricked him into believing that she loved him.

💭what is a favorite bttf memory?

how do you expect me to settle on just one aaaa

alright, i'm going to start chronologically and tell you about the first rather significant memory i have, and that would be (other than first watching the movies) when i first played the game. i remember that being february 2021, and i had just realized how in love with those films i was and wanted to consume every content available. and i played it with my dad, the person who showed me the movies in first place.

i was so absorbed in the story and me and my dad would sit in front of my computer in the evenings, drinking tea and just playing bttf the game. and it's important to me, because he did that with me beacause i was interested in it. he let me drag him into playing it because i wanted him to play with me (he enjoyed it too, by the way). my dad remains my most imporant bttf person to me till this day - he did everything with me, he went to the comic con, the musical, and the drive in with me, he was the one who convinced me to skateboard and built a replica of marty's yellow guitar with me. i would not be on this website if it hadn't been for him.

this turned into me gushing about my dad lmao but hey, it's father's day, so it's kinda fitting :D

i consider just making a post about all of my memories sometime, so maybe i'll do that at some point

I would love to know more about the groundhog day au in general! Theres not really anything about it on the discord or anything from what i could find

oh boy! ok so, the basic gist is that marty basically accidentally breaks the space time continuum is such a way that on tuesday, november 12th, 1985, he gets looped. the "groundhog day" aspect is only the time loop part, i just like groundhog day so i named the au after it.

its been a bit since ive thought about this one, but if i remember correctly the reason he gets looped is partially because it's the anniversary of the lightning strike and partially just the universe messing with him. much like how phil, in the movie, only get unstuck when he becomes a better person with out any alternative motives (thats how i interpreted it at least) marty only gets unstuck when starts believing in himself, or something like that

like, by this point hes gotten over the whole chicken thing but is still in a very much "if I dont succeed in this (get a record or something like that) then I suck", so it's only when hes able to work through that mindset that he gets unstuck. the problem, however, is that he doesn't know this and so spends so many more loops trying to get and spiraling that he isn't able to work through that.

the first few loops are spent with a slow dawning realization of the time loop, and that it is actually continuing and is not just a one time thing.

next many are used trying to get out. doc pretty much immediately believes him every time, so they spend loop after loop theorizing about why it's happening and how they can fix it, or actually trying to fix it. none of these work however

eventually marty gives up on being able to stop the loops and enters a depressive state. these loops range from being to go to school normally, to not being able to get out of bed, to purposefully running away and getting into extremely dangerous situations just to experience something new. some of these things even end with him getting killed (rip), though he's always able to come back

there are some days where he confides in jenn about the looping, or reveals to his parents all his time travel shenanigans. these days usually go pretty good. he has stopped telling doc about it because he's almost completely lost hope in ever getting out and going to doc with only get his hopes up farther, just to be shot down again.

it's after one of the loops where he talks to jenn when he finally begins to look on the positive side of his situation. im not exactly sure how it will end, other than when the loop finally breaks he completely breaks down and is unable to go to school. he then spends a lot of time talking to doc about it, adjusting to things being able to change and just working through everything that happened.

anyway! thats the basic gist of the au! some other fun facts is that his alarm everyday in the loop is "i got you babe" (like in groundhog day) but his alarm the next day, when the loop breaks is "back in time" (like in that one spn episode)

I’m gonna be self-indulgent and say I wanna know more about George McFly after Marty went back to 1985. Obviously, we know George got way more confident in himself and all that. But it’s pretty clear that it’s still gonna take some effort for George to change how he deals with adversity (ie: George initially just walks away when Dixon shows up during the Earth Angel scene). We only see a little bit of him and Lorraine’s relationship post-Marty Leaving in the comics and dang it, I want more.

❓what is one question you would love to ask bob gale?

If I remember correctly, Bob Gale said that he probably wouldn’t have included Jennifer going with Marty and Doc to save their kids at the end of the 1st movie if he knew there was gonna be a sequel. I wanna know how the 2015 segment of the 2nd film would’ve gone if Bob Gale didn’t have Jennifer come with Doc and Marty.

✍️if you have read any of the alternate screenplays, what is a scene you wish would have made it into the movies?

Technically this isn't a scene, but in one of the early drafts of the first film, there's a joke in the scene when Marty and Jennifer are talking. Instead of the "I think the woman was born a nun" line, Marty says "I'm proof of immaculate conception!" And J wish it was included in the film because it makes me giggle every time I think about it.

I would come from somewhere very very VERY far in the future. It might not be intresting but the "A person from the future who always wanted to know the past" character sounds right to me even cuz Im like this every day

they are all great (with exceptions) but my fav is always the game. In addition to the good story and the information it gives us, the villain of the story in my opinion kicks the ass of all Tannen in terms of "Being evil" (Edna is a great villain)

Time to rant about Doc! One of my fav hcs is that Doc is claustrophobic to a WORRYING level. Why? Well remember that scene from the game where YoungEmmett gets stuck in the tank and Marty ALMOST KILLS HIM BY CHOKING? Yep. Doc didnt forget about it (this will become a fic for June of Doom)

None, that I know of. Don't really know what she gets up to these days 🤔 I think my dad mentioned it once or twice though.

Some good grades hopefully. Better study habits, improved hobbies, and cherishing small moments. Should probably work on my people skills too. I will make Good Adult Decisions.
