Using woodlouse logic gates in your natural circuits.
Isopods have 7 pairs of legs all pretty much the same length.
74** logic gates have … 7 pairs of legs all the same length!
Coincidence? I think not!
Clearly, each isopod contains 4 logic gates. This Armadillidium vulgare has 4 AND gates. Don't forget to connect power & ground legs & use pull-down resistors on inputs.
(best practice is to simply ask the rollie to position itself in your circuit.)

Like most natural systems. they use micro-voltages, don't use standard 5V power sources.

atmosfera 6 - the TestGuy
" Two wires goes out. By toggles and rotary switches you can choose cap, pair of diodes or resistance by pots. All doubled so you can switch between two settings and compare them by one toggle switch. Made for modding big muff originally, but i supose multiple use. "

Coming soon - Stemma QT breadboard pal takes a load off I2C wiring
we got a request for a little I2C breadboarding helper - something that will let people add stemma QT / qwiic connectors (https://www.adafruit.com/stemma) to a project easily. instead of just an SMT-to-THM adapter we also tossed on a 10uF power decoupling cap, power LED (that can be disabled) and 10K I2C pullup resistors (that also can be disabled). we sketched this one out pretty fast but like how it turned out! we may also make this board available with headers pre-soldered since stemma QT is specifically designed for solder-free work.

Stupid as it may sound, what with being a software engineer by profession, getting into Eurorack and synth DIY as a hobby, and having used an OG Model B as a file and print server for years, this is only the second time* I've used the GPIO pins, and the first time I've ever used them with a breadboard. I finally got round to soldering my breakout cable!
Next step, trying out the I2C DACs I bought, see if I can get them working at 0 - 3.3V and figure out how to use an opamp to boost to 0 - 10V (for modular use).
* The first time I used the serial port pins to unbrick a Seagate hard drive.

IR Remote Tester and Decoder ************************** What do you generally do when your remote controls starts playing up? * Do you generally use a multimeter and check the voltage and current produced by the battery? * Or do you point the remote control to a digital camera and try to visualize the infrared light? In this tutorial, I am going to show you guys how to create a simple InfraRed(IR) Receiver Circuit using TSOP4838 and will also show you how to read the code send by the remote controls. You can also use this circuit as an IR remote tester.
