Seeking insp. from the Bonkai fam for a fic I’m writing: If Bonnie were to make Kai a mixtape of songs to ‘catch him up’ on what he’d missed while imprisoned/in hell, what are the quintessential bangers she’d include?? According to TVD timelines he’s indisposed from May 1994 - sometime 2012/2013 and then in hell from June 2013-Feb 2018.

I’m trying to think of what Bonnie would see as the classics of those years. Tunes I’m thinking of including:

- SZA, Anything (just because it’s my insp for the fic)  - Tal Bachman, She’s So High (because of obvi parallels haha)  - TLC, No Scrubs (because it’s a fkn classic and just imagine King of Grunge Malachai Parker having to listen to such a bop)  - Just a classic era trawl of what Bonnie would have grown up with - Destiny’s Child, The Killers, Rihanna...?
