Come Back, Be Here (Part One) | DR3
Five years pass in the blink of an eye and you’ve sacrificed so much to support the man you love. But you can’t keep doing it. When you make the decision to end things you have to carry through to find who you are again.
AN: Part two will be up in the next couple of days. If you’d like to be notified leave a comment and I’ll tag you!
Warnings: heavy angst, breakups, lying.
The day you made your decision was really just the straw that broke the camel’s back. It was more hotel rooms, more planes, more lines added to your flight tracking app. You’d travelled around the world more than twice already in the year and it was only August.
You’d end up at yet another race track where you’d had your photo taken more times than you could count. Those professional photos that you were never happy with got posted to instagram accounts run by people who claimed they knew who you were and what you stood for. To yet more flights and more frequent flier miles than you ever thought anyone could have. Planning flights based on airline rather than price to keep earning them, your permanent status just increasing. First class tickets you never could afford to every location, sitting in airline lounges and smiling when people came up to Daniel to wish him luck or ask for a photo.
And every few months you got dressed up for one event or another. A gala, a charity, some sponsor party because everyone wanted to see “Daniel Ricciardo’s other half”. Getting dressed up in a dress you didn’t buy and jewellery that was loaned to you by designers. Standing on a red carpet with your fiancé’s arm around you as he gave that familiar wide grin and you played the fawning date.
You hated every single moment of it, and you didn’t know when you’d started hating it.
It was all for Daniel, and you loved him so you did everything that was asked. You did the busy days and the ridiculous travel. Ignored the hate comments on every single photo you posted on your instagram account - even a photo of the cake you’d baked for a friend’s birthday got comments about how it didn’t look good. You used Twitter Circles and Close Friends judiciously on social media, all of your accounts with that familiar blue tick because you were a “public figure”.
Instead of taking the first choice job you wanted to have you’d declined it because it was in an office five days a week. You’d taken the one you didn’t want as much because it was flexible work and you could do it from anywhere in the world so you got to travel with Dan. You made it to every race on the calendar with him, a fixture in the back of the garage of whatever team he was racing with. You’d wear his merch and have headphones on to listen to the team radio as he raced. Wherever he went, you followed because you were The Ricciardos and of course you were there. The engagement ring that had been on your left hand for eighteen months just proved it.
But you still saw what people said whenever you were in the paddock. How people made snide comments about your job because you were always there, and if you weren’t in McLaren hospitality waiting on Dan you were in Red Bull with Kelly. You were friendly with the other wives and girlfriends of drivers, you’d been there the second longest now. You were the one who was at every race, and when women came for the first time with their now public relationship you were the one who welcomed them to the chaos. And set up the new whatsapp groups whenever they were needed. You blamed Pierre for how many you needed most of the time really.
It was you and Kelly as the focal point of the group. Your partners were best friends, you got along and knew what was going on, it was a natural fit. You could put the smile on and grin and hug, helping everyone keep their head up high. When a crash happened you’d seek out whoever needed comfort and remind them of the safety that was there now. It fit you well.
But you were drowning in it.
August was supposed to be the summer break but Dan was in Woking for yet more McLaren meetings. He’d told you it was normal, part of the organisation for the third year of his contract. You were plugged into the paddock gossip, you knew what was being said, how people talked about your fiancé. The way people talked about how Dan was getting what was coming to him, a new young Australian taking over from the washed out one. The way Blake looked at you sadly, as if he was barely biting his tongue, every time someone mentioned contracts or gossip.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
You were supposed to be in love, be loved. Racing would always be Daniel’s first love but you could fit in there somewhere with him. Be a priority for him. Except you weren’t his priority anymore. The fact that your fifth anniversary came and went without him acknowledging it or even texting you a hello. That was the crystal clear moment that whatever you wanted was not a priority compared to his career, and you deserved better than that. You deserved to be more than an afterthought.
Once the decision was made it was easy to organise moving out. Finding an apartment in Nice was the first thing to do and it was shockingly easy. Monaco was out, the streets too small and filled with memories. Once you were settled in an apartment you could look at a new job or new country, but away from the principality was enough for now. Then it was packing up your life.
Most of your belongings were presents from Daniel. It had become his habit to try pay for everything, the income disparities clear between you. It was with the kindest of intentions but had become a gilded cage that you couldn’t escape. You didn’t know who you yourself were anymore. You didn’t know how to be anyone except F1 WAG. Daniel Ricciardo’s fiancée. The woman with so many gossip column inches it felt wrong. The Daily Mail had a category for your name at this point and that was never who you wanted to be. You’d lost yourself and you needed to find yourself again.
You got the train to Nice and signed your month to month lease for a furnished apartment. It was unusual to have one, but the letting agent recognised your face and accepted it without a moment’s thought. Once it was signed your next stop was to rent a car to bring your belongings to the small apartment.
It was simple and you had a plan. Pack your boxes of your belongings, put them in the car, drive. It took two trips to get most of them over, the final set sitting there until you decided to leave for the final time.
You had to tell Daniel in person. He deserved to have his heart broken in front of you, rather than by phone or text. He was good and loyal and he wasn’t a bad guy, this just didn’t work anymore. He deserved someone who could support him fully. It wasn’t something you could keep doing.
You sat in the living room after getting the text that he’d landed in Nice, knowing that this was the last time. You weren’t going to see him again and that hurt. You were leaving for good and never coming back here. Your engagement ring was in the green leather jewellers box he’d proposed with, sitting on what had been your bedside locker. Taking it off your finger and pushing it into the velvet cushion was when you’d shed your first tear. It was small and neat and exactly what you’d wanted, and you’d loved it from the moment he flipped the box open. Asses online had said it wasn’t enough for a millionaire’s fiancée, that you obviously didn’t mean much to him.
You didn’t want the ring or the money. You wanted Daniel. But you couldn’t have him in a way that would make you both happy.
“I’m home!” His voice echoed around the living room as he arrived in, dropping bags on the floor and you pulled him in for a hug. This was the last one you’d share and doing this when you knew things weren’t good for him professionally hurt but you had to. You couldn’t lose more of yourself.
“Hey. How was the factory?”
“Good. We need to talk about some of my—“
“Dan, I know.” He stopped still at your words. “But we need to talk about something else.”
“I’ve got a couple of offers on the table, and we’ll be—“
“Daniel.” Your voice was soft and he stared at you. His brown eyes opened wide and it felt like he was properly seeing you for the first time in what felt like years. He looked like that Daniel you’d fallen in love with in 2017, a Red Bull star with a wide smile and wild curls. You hadn’t know what you were jumping into when you danced with the man in the nightclub and went home with him. You couldn’t have guessed how your life would change. That the next five years would be the best and worst of your life and he made the highs even higher but the lows so much lower. He made everything better and worse at the same time. He took you in fully and you could tell when his eyes caught the missing jewellery.
“Where’s your ring? Were…were you robbed? What’s going on?” They were halfhearted questions as you shook your head and the reality began to sink into him.
“You know as well as I do that this isn’t working. And I’m so sorry things are ending now. But we…it’s the wrong time for us. I can’t love you the way you need and you can’t support me the way that I need. I’m sorry.”
He looked at you for a solid minute in the silence, it was as if you could see his heart break.
“But we love each other?” That it was a question cut you like a knife.
“I don’t think it’s enough. I’m not enough for you.” It was those words that made his face crumble and you took a step back, looking down at the tiled floor. You couldn’t cry. You were the one hurting him, you didn’t get to cry in front of him.”
“You are. I swear you’re enough. You’re more than enough.”
“Be happy, Daniel Ricciardo. Be happy.”
All you wanted to do was squeeze his hand and take the pain away but you couldn’t. Instead you slipped past him in your worn out sneakers and left through the front door, closing it with a gentle click.
The routine to leave the building was practiced. A few steps to the elevator, down the floors, and out. Except this time you were going to the parking garage in the basement to get the rental car and leave, and for the first time in so long someone else got into the elevator a few floors below what had been yours.
“Hey, I haven’t…is everything ok?” Max looked at your tear streaked face as you blinked back the worst ones, wiping your face roughly with your hand.
“Will you look after him for me? He’s gonna need you now.” It took a few moments for your words to sink in as he stared at you.
“What happened? Did you have a fight? You know he’ll be down in a minute to fix whatever he did, he loves you.”
“I ended things.” The shock on his face was clear as the doors shut to bring you both down. “I ended things about two minutes ago, and he’ll need his friends. I know I’ve no right to ask this, but please. Look after him for me.”
“You can work this out. Come up to ours, stay with us for a night. Think this over.”
“Max I have. I’ve been thinking about this for weeks. He forgot our anniversary and that was the final thing. He deserves someone who can support him the way he needs, and that’s not me right now. He deserves to be happy. I can’t help him be happy. Just please. You and Seb and Estie can help him. I can’t.”
You’d arrived in the garage and Max watched you step out of the elevator with him, heading to the small hatchback that stood out in the area filled with sports cars.
“Where are you going?”
“I got an apartment. I’m going to find out who I am. It’ll be worth it.”
You didn’t expect the Dutchman to wrap you in a hug but he pulled you close, squeezing for a moment before letting go.
“If you need anything. Day or night, no matter where in the world I am, you call ok? You’re like a sister to me, call me whenever you need. And Kelly will be in touch soon to see you, P is gonna miss her aunt.”
“I will.” It was a bare faced lie but it made him look lighter so you told it easily. As far as you were concerned you weren’t going to see them again.
Once you made it into Nice and parked you picked up your phone, pulling up the Find my iPhone app. It took far too few swipes to hide your location from Dan and Kelly, making sure they couldn’t see you. Once you did that you went into the WAG WhatsApp, this one entitled “oh god they’re home for two weeks what’s this chaos”. It took little time to set Kelly as an admin and then leave the chat with a waving emoji and a red heart.
The very last thing to do was to go into an Orange shop and get a new SIM card with a new number. You snapped the old SIM between your fingertips to get rid of it. It was over. You had your new fresh start but it didn’t feel like one.

Song reference - Feed my Chaos by Lilith Czar - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyMeaoD1p-c
‘Am I the victim?  Am I the criminal?  Am I the angel or diabolical?  The bullet or the gun?  What have I become?  Created in the pain of filth and dust
Sex and energy  Turn your head off  Chasing reality  Feed my chaos  Bathed in holy light  Crown comes with a cost  Fuel me from the fight  Feed my chaos.’
Angel couldn’t stop listening to it, the original track by Heavenly Creature, entitled Feed my Chaos. They’d only been formed for three and a half months and already, they’d pooled their money together to record a few tracks, gotten themselves a few little shows, and were determined to make a name out there.  He admired Bella’s tenacity and zeal hugely, putting together all of the lyrics she’d been writing over the years and crafting actual songs, good songs, too, confessing to him that she was a hoarder of notebooks, always scribbling down something, never without paper and a pen to record inspiration whenever it hit her.
Because of their conflicting schedules, Bella busy with college and his life between outlawing and scrap metal heaving keeping him busy, he hadn’t actually managed to see her again as yet, but they chatted regularly via text in the five days that followed their first meet. In fact, whenever Angel wasn’t busy with club duties, his phone appeared to be welded to his hand.
‘Hey pretty girl. What you up to?’
Hearing her message alert, Bella reached for her nightstand to pick her phone up, squeaking with excitement when she saw it was from Angel.
‘Just chilling at home, playing guitar, writing stuff. You?’
‘Hanging at the clubhouse before I hit the gym. You busy this afternoon?’
‘Nope, I have a half day from college so I’m just gonna sit here with my guitar and stuff myself silly with bagels and cream cheese. Unless you had a more appealing alternative?’
Shit. Was that too forward? Was he merely asking what she was doing out of interest, and not leading anywhere with it? Could she unsend the message before he read it? Two little blue ticks next to the Whatsapp box revealed she couldn't, Bella cringing as she softly thudded her head against the top of her acoustic guitar.
‘Wanna meet me for a few drinks?’
Phew!
‘Yeah, that’d be great. If I get on the train, I can probably be in Santo Padre by the time you’re done with the lifting of the heavy things.’
“Lifting of the heavy things,” he chuckled quietly, typing out another message.
‘Alright. Do you know where West Point Social is? It’s a real cool bar, and they do great food too, if you wanted to stay for dinner?’
‘I don’t, but I have Google Maps, I’ll find it! Meet you there at say, 3:30pm?’
‘Cool, see you then.’
Placing her guitar down, Bella rushed off her bed towards the large, heavy oak wardrobe in the corner of her room. Everything was vintage and nothing matched, but that was hers and her mother’s taste all over. “What the hell do I wear?” Flinging the door open, all of a panic, she raided the contents, considering a dress but then quickly vetoing that decision, landing on her skin-tight, light blue jeans and a simple cropped white top. She teamed them with her black stiletto heeled boots, her usual abundance of jewellery too, picking up one of her beloved heavy fringed bags, this one dark red and unloading all of her stuff into it before quickly touching up her makeup.
The train took forty-five minutes to reach Santo Padre from her home of La Jolla, Bella barely making it after purchasing a ticket, running across the platform as fast as her feet would carry her, sliding in between the doors just as they were shutting with a grateful sigh. She would arrive at 2:57pm, looking on her phone and seeing that the bar was a twenty-minute walk from the station, which was doable.
Her feet disagreed with her two thirds of the way through the walk, but the sight waiting for her at a table on the decking area outside the bar was more than worth it. Fuck. She’d almost forgotten how attractive he was. He was without his kutte, dressed simply in a white vest, dark grey shirt left open and a pair of dark blue jeans, heavy silver jewellery adorning his neck, fingers and wrists. When he saw her, he actually felt a wave of butterflies flutter through him. God, she was so gorgeous, every set of male eyes outside of the bar watching her as she walked, Angel feeling ten feet tall when she arrived with him, standing up to greet her with a hug and a quick kiss.
“Damn,” he breathed, sitting down again. “You look smokin’!”
Bella felt herself blush, her insides screaming with excitement. “Thanks. Looking pretty lush over there yourself, too.”
“Lush? Is that a British-ism?”
“Yeah, kind of. More Welsh than anything. I picked it up off one of my favourite TV shows, Gavin and Stacy. I doubt you’ll have heard of it,” she spoke, placing her bag down, giving her long hair a little ruffle.
He looked completely nonplussed. “Nope, but maybe I’ll watch it with you sometime.” He sat back, shaking his head, barely able to believe his luck. She was so beautiful! It was making him a little crazy, truth be known. “So, what do you want to drink?”
“A Coke, please.”
He leaned forward, making a beckoning gesture with his finger. She reciprocated, leaning closer. “What do you really want to drink?”
She bit her lip, grinning. “Malibu and Coke, please?”
He winked, getting up. “I’ll be back.” He didn’t have any qualms about buying her alcohol, even if she was three years under the legal age limit. Besides, she easily passed for twenty-one. While he was inside, Bella took out her cigarettes, lighting up and looking out around the space. Southern California was, as one might imagine, completely different to her native Hammersmith. The vibe, the people, everything was in stark contrast, most of all the weather, London mostly dull and grey, save for the stifling summer months. She realised that after six months in San Diego, though, she knew nothing of hot weather prior to her move.
“What’s that stuff like, then?” Angel spoke, arriving back and placing her drink down, Bella taking a grateful sip. She was parched after her walk. “I can’t say I’ve ever tried it.” He nodded towards her glass, Bella sliding it across the table to him.
“Here, try a sip.”
He picked it up, giving it a cautionary sniff. The face he made prompted her tiny snort laugh, sipping it back all the same. “Oh, Jesus in a fucking side car!”
There it was again, her booming laugh. “Not a fan?”
“It’s vile! It tastes like air freshener!”
“And now many Magic Trees have you been chomping down on to be able to use those as your comparison?” She bobbed her tongue between her teeth playfully, Angel leaning forward in his seat, pointing at her.
“No shaming my snack habits. They’re low carb.”
She was in soft fits. “Low carb, all card?”
“Exactly that,” he confirmed with a nod. “So, how was college?”
“Boring!” she yelled, maybe a little too loudly. “We had to learn about the basis of chord progression, which is stupid since I know it already! I’ve been playing guitar since I was six!” She suddenly realised her statement came off as a little arrogant, continuing. “I mean, I don’t want to sound like a Johnny know-it-all, but I was just frustrated because I could have been using that time for something else, something brand new to me.”
He reached for her hand, seeing the sudden worry in her face. “I understand, it’s like, you want to make the most of your time. You’re there to build on what you already know, not go over the same things. Maybe though, just see it as a chance to reminds yourself of those things again and keep them fresh?” She’d never looked at it like that before, and had to admit, he was right. She guessed her headstrong youth had a lot to do with it, Angel getting past his now at thirty-six. Already, she knew that would be a point of fascination about him, the fact he was likely a lot wiser than her in some ways.
As they sat and chatted, Angel was fascinated by her, learning more about her homeland, the UK a place that by his own admission, he knew very little about at all.
“I miss it there, I do,” she replied in answer to his question. “I mean, San Diego has everything London does, almost, but what I loved so much about London was the extremities of the cultural diversity. We have so many nationalities of people migrating, and they bring their culture of course, from food to music, it was just such an amazing scene. I always said I wanted to travel, though, so these are my first steps in making sure I don’t stay rooted, that I get out there and see the whole world.”
“And you hope it’ll be your music that’ll make that happen for you?” he asked, taking another nacho from the huge plate they were sharing.
“It will be, I’m certain of it. I’m not going to stop until I make something of myself, and music is going to be it.” He loved that about her, how confident she was. She had every reason to be.
“Well, you damned sure got the talent,” he began, taking a swig of his beer when a particularly spicy piece of jalapeno began sizzling the back of his tongue. “Seriously, I can’t get enough of your music. I usually mostly listen to either old school hip hop or metal, but your stuff, I fucking love. Your voice, Jesus Christ, man! You even impressed Bish, and that ain’t easy to do. He’s very set in his ways over what he likes, but he was stunned when you started singing.”
Her face was curious, wiping sour cream from her fingers with a napkin. “Who’s Bish?”
“President of the MC, Bishop Losa,” Angel confirmed, Bella’s eyes widening a little.
“Does he have a daughter called Hadleigh?”
Angel nodded, pouring the remaining salsa over the nachos. He always ordered extra, because of the inevitable dry under chip situation. “He does! My beloved ass face!”
Bella almost choked on her drink. “I know her! Well, I kind of know her, we move in the same circle. She’s dating a guy who’s friends with Ian, our drummer. Why’d you call her ass face?”
“Because Hadleigh Losa is the biggest pranker on earth, she gets it right from her old man, and they prank on each other constantly. One night, she fell asleep at the club, and to get her back for emptying flour into his leaf blower, he drew an ass on her forehead with marker pen. She went fucking insane! Came off with rubbing alcohol, but I swear, I nearly broke a rib from laughing so hard!”
“He sounds like a fun dad. I remember mine used to be the same. He’d play jokes in my mum all the time, particularly with an airhorn. He used to hide behind doors, under the bed, tables, and one time he even managed to wedge himself in the pantry. She said that was the only thing she didn’t miss after he died, the fact that at any given moment, she was five seconds from pissing her pants in fear at the threat of an airhorn being let off,” she detailed, remembering one time when he’d hid behind the curtains and gotten her, her mum throwing an entire bowl of popcorn in the air. Their old basset hound, Rufus had eaten well that night. “What was your dad like while you grew up?”
“Stern,” Angel confirmed, thanking the passing waitress when she took their empty bottles and glasses away. “Mom was always the fun one. She was the sweetest woman, I swear. She was like you in so much that she lived and breathed music, so we listened to so much, from traditional Spanish stuff to Janis Joplin and Joan Jett, who she loved.”
“Oh my god!” Bella cried, holding a hand to her chest. “Those women are two of my biggest idols!”
“She even got to see Janis, you know. She snuck over the border and hitch hiked all the way up to Hollywood to watch her play at the Hollywood Bowl.”
Bella’s eyes couldn’t have been more alight. “Bloody hell! Now that’s dedication. She sounds like she was such an incredible person, and you’ve only told me a little about her. I’m so sorry, about what happened to her.”
Angel nodded, something sharp tingling in his chest. He missed her so much. “Thanks. I know you get it, though, that’s something we have in common, really missing one of our parents. So, tell me about your mom then, or mum, as you call her.” he teased.
“She’s just terrific, she’s my best friend,” she began, scrunching her nose a little. “And I know that sounds really lame, but she is. She’s so chilled out, a real hippie type, and hugely clever. There literally isn’t a single thing she doesn’t know about plants, and her work is so fascinating, everything she researches in how plants can be used for differing purposes. She specialises in what’s known at phytochemistry.”
“It sounds really complicated,” Angel confessed, sipping his beer.
“Oh, it is. Half of what she tells me I’m just sitting there like, ‘what the bloody, buggery fuck, mum?’ over!” He laughed, loving her differing colloquialisms. He heard plenty more of them as they continued to talk, sharing stories from their lives, finding common grounds, detailing their differences, leaning so much about one another that the time flew by.
It was a first date that went so well that by the time the sun had gone down, Bella had moved around to the other side of the table, sat across his lap, sharing kisses that probably bordered on much too steamy for a public place, but she didn’t care. Neither did he.
“I hate to put a stop to this,” she sighed, her lips tingling.
“Then don’t,” Angel interjected, his hand stroking her thigh.
She laughed softly through her nose, leaning in to kiss him again. He was the best kisser she’d ever experienced, probably because he’d likely kissed hundreds more people than she had, or he was just naturally talented. Either way, she didn’t care. She couldn’t get enough. “I have to, though. My train leaves in forty minutes, and it’ll take me twenty to get back to the station.”
He looked thoughtful for a moment. “How much later could you stay if I paid for your cab home?”
Her mouth dropped open immediately. “Angel, that’s at least a sixty-dollar cab ride! I can’t ask you to do that!”
His hand wandered up and down her back, leaning forward to kiss her cheek a few times. “You ain’t asking, I’m offering. How long?”
Looking at the time on her phone, she worked it out. She didn’t have a curfew as such, her mum being quite relaxed, but she knew that in order to be fresh for college the next day, she should be home for about midnight. “Two hours?”
“Done. Your sexy butt is staying exactly where it is,” he confirmed with a nod.
“More than happy with this decision.” Her confirmation was delivered with the kind of kisses that made his pulse flip madly, Angel not able to remember a time when he’d been so attracted to someone. It wasn’t just that she was gorgeous either, it was her, all of her. She was smart, talented, funny, and so, so gentle and sweet. He was also revelling in the novelty that as a completely smoking hot eighteen-year-old, she could have any guy she wanted, and she’d seen him and thought ‘yep, that one.’ It wasn’t without its charm.
The two hours passed much too quickly, Bella feeling a little sad pit in her stomach as the cab pulled up, standing in his arms, kissing him goodbye.
“You might have to take me with you, because I totally don’t wanna let you go,” he confessed, actually poking out his bottom lip and looking utterly adorable, Bella returning such, making him melt completely. Oh, she was too cute!
“I don’t want to leave you, either!” she exclaimed, quickly calling to the cab driver that she’d be a couple of minutes, the friendly man replying with ‘okay, darling’ before she turned back to the man she was very reluctant to let go of.
“We could remedy this, you know,” he began. “I could give the driver my address instead, and you come stay at my place, blow off college tomorrow, or I’ll take you back there early in the morning, if you want?”
“Erm...” she began, knowing the connotations. She shook her head. “I think I know exactly why you’re asking me back to your place, and it isn’t going to happen. Not this soon anyway.”
He shrugged. “I can keep my hands to myself.”
“Yeah, but maybe I can’t. I’m not easy, but with you, bloody hell. I could be, and I’m not screwing it all up by having sex with you right away,” she confessed, Angel respecting her decision. Albeit somewhat begrudgingly. He then realised, though, that such a stance made her very, very different to just about any other woman he’d encountered in recent years, all of them ready to jump into bed with him right away. God. It only made him like her more.
“No worries, baby. You free this weekend? I’d love to see you again,” he asked, his fingers stroking her lower back in a way that made her tingle all over.
“Not until Sunday, I’m afraid,” she lamented. “I have rehearsal on Friday night, then on Saturday I’m at work in the day, then on the evening we’re playing a little show at a bar not far from where I live, but yeah, Sunday daytime I can be all yours?” Ahh, yes. Sadly, Saturday daytime was out of bounds for her, Angel remembering her briefly detailing her job as a hair washing girl at a salon close to where she lived in La Jolla.
“Then I’ll call you on Sunday morning to arrange something. Text me when you get home, alright?”
She leaned in for another kiss, drinking him in, her heart fluttering madly. “Will do. Thanks for a great night.”
Getting into the cab, she could barely wait for Sunday, grinning like an idiot for the entire duration of the ride home. He was the first guy in a long time who she really, really liked. In fact, she’d never felt like that before at all, she realised, replaying moments from their date in her head all the way home.
She was smitten.
As for Angel, he felt much the same, so much so that after discovering the name of the bar Heavenly Creature were playing at that coming Saturday, he planned to pay her a surprise visit.
Bella almost felt her heart somersault out of her chest when after taking to the stage, she picked him out in the crowd. She realised then that he was just as into her as she was him, and that? That felt wonderful.

I know people are busy and tired right but.. I'm getting annoyed that lately literally everyone I message is just leaving me on read or completely ignoring me. Sent my sister the cctv footage of a full pallet of stock collapsing outside in the rain the other day on my shift just as a dumb thing to make her laugh, no answer. Sent the same footage to my wagon driver, saying this is why he should be here every day (the depot keep sending him on other routes so our deliveries are totally fucked up atm), left on read. To be fair I saw him today and he brought it up laughing. He's in his fifties and is driving for 10 hours of the day so I'll forgive him for not being overly sociable over text lol. Messaged my old manager 2 days ago to say congrats on 6 months sober and I'll be over to give him his sobriety coin as soon as I can. Not even opened. Text my sister in law asking how their holiday was. Left on read. Have messaged my best friend twice thinking she'll be up for a catch up on my day off on Monday bc she's posting all over how happy she is to be in her third trimester and I want to give her all the stuff I've bought for her and the baby, messages unopened (again, I get it she has huuuge life things going on, but is it so hard to say yes we can meet up or no we can't if you're really too busy?) Like... am I that annoying? Am I that much of a burden on everyone I know? Is it so terrible to hear from me? I know this is a dumb way to think about it and so selfish and narcissistic, everyone has their own stuff going on and there have been plenty of times I haven't had the energy to reply to messages for a few days. But it does make me feel like everyone hates me bc literally no one seems to want anything to do with me. I don't think I'm an awful, annoying person, but maybe I am? Idk. I know this is just my own insecurities talking and again I need to be more empathetic towards these people who I love very much. But it's v hard to convince myself when I open whatsapp and it's just all blue ticks lol. Anyway. Back to work for the last 3 hours 🫠 I can do it 🥹🥹

Utilizing WhatsApp CRM for Customer Relationship Management
A. Integration of WhatsApp CRM
Choosing the Right CRM Platform
Choosing the right Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform is akin to finding the perfect dance partner for your business. When integrating WhatsApp CRM, consider factors such as scalability, user-friendliness, and the ability to adapt to your business’s unique needs.
Scalability: Ensure that the CRM platform can grow alongside your business. WhatsApp interactions can surge, and you want a CRM that won’t break a sweat as your customer base expands.
User-Friendly Interface: A user-friendly interface is crucial for smooth operations. Your team should be able to navigate the CRM effortlessly, maximizing their efficiency in managing customer interactions.
Integration Compatibility: Check for compatibility with WhatsApp Business API. The CRM platform should seamlessly integrate with WhatsApp, forming a cohesive system that enhances your customer management capabilities.
2. Benefits of Integrating CRM with WhatsApp
Integrating CRM with WhatsApp isn’t just a technical maneuver; it’s a strategic decision that amplifies your ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Centralized Customer Data: By integrating WhatsApp with CRM, all customer interactions are consolidated in one platform. This centralized hub ensures that your team has a 360-degree view of each customer, facilitating personalized and context-rich conversations.
Automation for Efficiency: Say goodbye to manual data entry and repetitive tasks. With CRM integration, automate routine processes, allowing your team to focus on what they do best — providing exceptional customer service.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Harness the power of data analytics. Integration enables the tracking of customer behavior and preferences, empowering your business to make informed decisions based on real-time insights.
B. Enhancing Customer Interactions
Efficient Management of Customer Inquiries
Envision a scenario where a customer queries about your product, choosing WhatsApp as their preferred communication channel. Here’s a seamless approach to handling such inquiries:
Prompt Responses: Speed matters. Respond promptly to customer inquiries on WhatsApp. Quick responses not only meet customer expectations but also convey a sense of attentiveness and care.

Utilize Automation Wisely: While human interaction is irreplaceable, automation can be a valuable ally. Use automated responses for common queries, allowing your team to focus on more complex customer issues.
Proactive Engagement: Don’t wait for customers to come to you. Proactively engage with them on WhatsApp, sharing relevant information, updates, and personalized offers. This keeps your brand top of mind and reinforces a sense of connection.
Best Practices for Utilizing WhatsApp for Business
A. Ensuring GDPR Compliance
Privacy Considerations for Customer Data
In the dynamic world of business messaging, privacy is paramount. Especially with the implementation of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), safeguarding customer data is not just good practice; it’s a legal necessity. Here’s how you can ensure compliance:
Transparent Data Collection: Be clear and transparent about the information you collect from customers. Clearly communicate the purpose and use of their data.
Explicit Consent: Obtain explicit consent from customers before collecting any sensitive information. Ensure that they understand how their data will be used and for what purposes.
2. Implementing Secure Practices
End-to-End Encryption: WhatsApp employs end-to-end encryption, ensuring that only the sender and the intended recipient can access the messages. Emphasize this security feature to your customers to build trust.
Secure Storage: If you store customer data, ensure it’s stored securely. Implement robust security measures to protect against unauthorized access.
B. Leveraging Multimedia for Engagement
Effective Use of Images, Videos, and Voice Messages
Engaging Visual Appeal: Share high-quality images and videos to showcase your products or services. Visual content is more likely to be remembered and shared.
Personalized Voice Messages: Adding a human touch through voice messages can enhance customer relationships. It’s a more personal and expressive way to communicate.
2. Creating Compelling Multimedia Content
Storytelling Through Visuals: Craft a narrative with your visual content. Whether it’s a product demo or a behind-the-scenes glimpse, storytelling adds depth to your brand.
Interactive Videos: Consider creating interactive videos that encourage customer engagement. This could include polls, clickable links, or calls to action within the video itself.
C. Monitoring and Analytics
Tracking Performance Metrics
To gauge the effectiveness of your WhatsApp strategy, monitoring key metrics is crucial:
Message Delivery and Open Rates: Track how many messages are delivered and how often they are opened. This provides insights into the reach and engagement of your content.
Response Time: Monitor response times to ensure timely customer support. Quick responses contribute to a positive customer experience.
2. Making Data-Driven Decisions for Improvement
Customer Feedback Analysis: Use customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Analyze patterns in customer inquiries to enhance your products or services.

WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging platforms globally, has undergone numerous modifications and enhancements to cater to users' diverse needs. Among these modifications, FM WhatsApp APK stands out as a prominent choice for those seeking additional features and customization options.
FM WhatsApp APK is a modified version of the original WhatsApp application, offering a plethora of features not available in the standard version. Developed by third-party developers, FM WhatsApp APK provides users with enhanced control over their messaging experience, ranging from privacy settings to customization options and beyond.
One of the most appealing aspects of FM WhatsApp APK is its emphasis on privacy and security. In a world where privacy concerns are paramount, this modified version offers features such as the ability to hide your online status, hide blue ticks (indicating read messages), and even hide the "typing" indicator. These features provide users with greater control over their online presence and communication activities, ensuring a more secure and private messaging experience.
Additionally, FM WhatsApp APK includes advanced customization options that allow users to personalize their interface according to their preferences. From custom themes and fonts to the ability to customize chat backgrounds and notification sounds, users can tailor the app to suit their unique style and preferences. This level of customization adds a personal touch to the messaging experience, making it more enjoyable and engaging for users.
Another notable feature of FM WhatsApp APK is its expanded file-sharing capabilities. This is particularly useful for individuals and businesses that frequently exchange large files and documents via messaging.
Moreover, FM WhatsApp APK offers enhanced control over message forwarding, allowing users to limit the number of times a message can be forwarded and even restrict forwarding altogether. This feature helps prevent the spread of misinformation and spam, promoting more responsible and secure communication practices among users.
In addition to these privacy and customization features, FMWhatsApp APK also includes several utility features aimed at improving the overall messaging experience. These include the ability to schedule messages, automatically reply to messages when unavailable, and even create custom auto-reply messages for specific contacts or groups. Such features enhance productivity and efficiency, allowing users to better manage their communication tasks.
It's important to note that while FM WhatsApp APK offers numerous benefits and features, it is a third-party application and may not be officially endorsed by WhatsApp Inc. Therefore, users should exercise caution and ensure they download the application from a trusted source to avoid potential security risks or malware infections.

It’s evil
An accusation by Cristian Carlos
The reasons for his suicide were not difficult to surmise.
He took his own life amidst his own despair and indifference, fueled by premeditated ignorance and outright rejection.
He was not merely afraid to leave but rather did not wish to depart this world. Yet, when he confessed to himself his reluctance to go, it took your presence to stop him from taking the final step.
This is no mere irony but a plaintive accusation, a sharp reprimand, and a tragic life lesson.
He ended his life because he felt, to a large extent, that you didn’t care enough to stop him.
He must have tried to reach you countless times, desperately seeking solace and understanding, but constantly met with your unfeeling indifference. It was this unshakable response that finally dehumanized him and persuaded him to refrain from calling you one last time on the fateful day he decided to obliterate himself.
It is, therefore, unsurprising that he departed this world feeling that he suffered from the callousness of the one he believed—foolishly to you, perhaps—would rescue him.
The phones rang on that terrible day, some announcing his name and photograph before the tragedy, like a premature epitaph in the form of a notification.
But no one answered.
The rescue did not come because of your perpetual indifference.
You might argue that it is foolish to think we can rescue someone who has not asked for help. Nevertheless, he did seek your help, and instead of offering any respite, he was met with your voicemail and two insignificant blue ticks on WhatsApp.
The real culprit in this callous drama was you.
“You know? It’s evil to help people that don’t need help, Claire”, says a song. You had the audacity to ignore the cries of the desperate and lend a hand to the privileged few. That’s why it is hypocritical to weep over his death. He could have stood before you, heart bleeding out in despair, and you would still have said you were “busy”.
That is why it is hypocritical to mourn his demise. The problem was never him.
The problem was your lie that you would be there for him, an untruth that you spoke merely to appear good and relieve your guilt. How could you lie to yourself like that? When you availed yourself of those prefabricated words, which he believed were said with heart and compassion, you were not even thinking of him.
You did not care about his despondency or his pain.
What is the point of all the posthumous memorials? You have time to remember him now, but did you have time then to care enough to lift a finger to help him? What would he even have to say to you now?
It seems like a cruel joke now to want to communicate with him when he no longer has a body or voice to respond with.
How long did he spend among us, praying to be heard and recognised? What he most desired before he breathed his last was for someone to care, to understand, to help him hold on.
He deserved to have been recognized and heard far earlier, before such a tragic and senseless deed.
Why bother now with all these condolences and memorials, feigning interest in his life and what led him to the Inevitable?
Why suffer the anguish of not knowing the reasons behind his death when you could have talked to him and perhaps circumvented the tragedy altogether? That is the true selfishness behind suicide. It is not the wish to die per se, but the desire not to be forgotten and to be heard.
At least he had the fortitude to follow his thought’s lead, but you, who always thought you might address his pain one day, remained stationary, repeating “someday” as a mantra until the time ran out.
You felt relief the moment you knew you would never again have to confront his sorrow. Now you claim you were left with a thousand things to say, and many more to do. The only one who indeed had a thousand things left to articulate and accomplish, however, was him, not you.
He was the brave one. And you were the coward who refused to face the reality of his suffering.
Sadly, you are yet to learn the lesson.
The truth remains, that if you genuinely want him to rest in peace, the most respectful course of action is to avoid contacting him now that his voice can never answer you again.

The stealth feature of FM WhatsApp APK might be extremely useful to you since it lets you browse the Internet and read your friends’ messages without ever telling them that you are online. Often, we are too busy to respond to our messages, and we unintentionally put our friends’ messages visible. Or perhaps you’re not quite ready to have an ideal response. In either case, it’s vital in these circumstances to hide the blue tick indication. You can avoid this problem with FM WhatsApp. If you reply to someone using FM WhatsApp, they will only see blue ticks instead of simply seeing the message. This function can be important for users who are busy and unable to respond right away.
