What exactly are interest checks for kin servers? Is it like, to see if anyone would be interested in joining an already-made kin server, or to see if anyone would want a kin server for a specific source, or what?

Oh yeah I never did make a proper info page for that haha!

An 'Interest Check' It's to see if there would be anyone interested in a discord server for a specific source or community. For example, a general pokemon all source types server, or a specific pokemon mystery dungeons game only server. You could also make it a general kin / system server, not specific to sources.

The person asking for an interest check would be the one creating and moderating the server. Please do not ask for an interest check if you are not going to make the server.

If you have a server for kin and/or systems, I can simply reblog your post promoting it. If you do make a new server from an interest check, I can reblog the post promiting it as well. Either or, it's all good!

Pro tips!

Do specific if systems are also welcome to the server, or if it's fictionkin only.

Don't restrict types of systems, I don't want to get into syscourse here, no one will be happy.

Do mention if it's all ages or 18+ only whether or not nsfw content is allowed for the legal adult only servers.

Don't be shy, what's the worse that could happen? The server dies off in a few days? What if you miss the chance to make life long friends?

Do make it for alterhuman only. I don't promote fandom or anything not related to alterhumanity.

You could also ask if there are any pre-existing servers for a specific source, but those aren't interest checks. I will post those in the source tags if anyone will see them and reblog or reply with a link.

I think there were kin / system server blogs that one could also check, but I have no idea if they're still around.

Hey umm tsk. This is a important message for the future of this blogpage. The thing that I'm changing is, dropping the speakervision gimmick. Honestly i have no motivation to draw speakervision for now so that's why I haven't been posting a lot lately, and I wanna change that. And I agree! Elsa is a sweet and gentle soul and needs to be protected and taken care of. 🥺

…Ironically enough, when I think of Elsa, she's the one to take care of me instead. 😅 I guess this applies to other F/Os too, but anyway. I imagine Elsa as a very loving and kind individual, and very understanding and sympathetic. If I have a problem, she's ready to soothe me, but also gently offer other perspective on situations and possible solutions. She's very wise.

I also just sometimes imagine us in her bedroom (?), off duty, spending time together. As her personal assistant/servant, I'm with her almost all the time, to the point of doing something like helping her get ready for bed or help her bathe. It's very normal and no one bats an eye, well, as long as they don't know of the real nature of our relationship.

Either way, I imagine that when we're able to relax behind closed doors, we just chat about random things (including important stuff, but also anything random and silly) and kiss and cuddle. Sometimes more. 👀

The tumblr app is shit. It's garbage. It cannot handle links which are native to its own website. If you are using the tumblr app, stop. The website works just fine in desktop browsers and mobile browsers.

Go on your laptop and use the desktop browser. It's usually called safari, or microsoft edge, depending on your OS and if you've downloaded different browsers. [fuc yeah, firefox!!!] Navigate to https://fictionkinfessions.tumblr.com/ and look at the blog pages. They are in a list on the left side of the page.

If you are on a tablet or phone, you will have a default browser installed. It's It's usually called safari, or Internet, or some sort of native browser, depending on your phone's OS. You can search your apps to find it. If you don't find it, check if you disabled it and re-enable it.

You should be able to long press and copy the url on the tumblr app. If not, navigate to the https://fictionkinfessions.tumblr.com/ Tap the browser url and navigate the cursor to the end of the url. Add in the text, without the apostrophes, /tagged/blogpages . This is the blog pages in text post format. Touch the screen at the bottom and drag your finger up moderately slowly. This will show text posts out of sight, below the screen's edge.

If you are still unable to click links on the internet, I suggest enrolling in a computer science class. Most of them will teach you how to navigate the internet on a computer. They should be available at your local library or community college. Or maybe someone else has suggestions. I have no idea how else to help you. Not that I would want to because I'm a ableist gremlin who wishes on your downfall as my rival liege in a distant city state.

Remember that really shady website with the half-decent themes that I literally can't say here, because writing out the url would immediately get your blog flagged as compromised? Congrats, the base code for their themes has been neutralized, and is now fully safe for you to use for your personal blog!

The code is, of course, pretty rough seeing as it's from a scam website, but I figured that at least one other person might find some enjoyment in using it. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to shoot me an ask and I'll take a look into it!
