Travel: Lake Bled, Bled Castle, Ljubliana - Slovenia
My #travel to #Slovenia #LakeBled
See  details of our entire tour of the Balkan nations and more complete historical background of these nations in my earlier blog on Croatia at link https://bit.ly/42Axnws.  My friends and I traveled with CostSaver, Trafalgar Group. Here I will focus more specifically on our short incursion into Slovenia after briefly discussing Slovenian history. Slovenes joined the Serbs and Croats in 1918, to…

Tekija, ceiling in primary guest room
Blagaj, Herzegovina
The ceiling edged with extending moldings holds a composition of curved moldings that frame painted panels and a centerpiece made of carved wood elements and leaf-like pieces that create a dramatic center to the ceiling. The ceiling of the guest room is an exceptional example of the fine woodworking traditions that occur in a number of countries in the Balkans. (photo 1988)

What's your favourite season?
And what are three countries or places you'd like to visit the most?
(Sending you one back haha)
My favourite season is spring! I love the feeling of knowing warm days are coming and the snow melting. The grass growing back and the flowers starting to grow.
The 3 places I'd like the go the most are probably, Bosnia (mostly Sarajevo, but Blagaj also looks neat), India (I'd probably come home with a suitcase full of beads and stuff) and England (I've never been to England itself, I've been to the UK technically because I was in Northern Ireland in 2016 but most of my trip was in the Republic of Ireland).
