Flickr x Black Women Photographers Grant 2023 Finalists and Recipient
On Wednesday at 2PM Eastern/10AM Pacific, I joined a live session with Frederick Van Johnson of This Week in Photo to announce the runner ups and grant winner of the Flickr x Black Women Photographers contest. Genesis Falls won the grant with her image called “Children at Play” which was captured in Chicago and can be seen below. Ten runner ups received a free year long membership to SmugMug and a Flickr Pro account.
If you missed the live stream, there’s a recap on Flickr available here, with a link to the video of yesterday’s announcement.
Many thanks again to Polly Irungu, founder of Black Women Photographers for suggesting me for this judging opportunity, MacKenzie at Flickr for her assistance with everything throughout the contest, and Alastair Jolly and Frederick from TWIP for conducting the livestream announcement. Congratulations to Genesis and all the runner-ups!
