NASCAR 2018 Daytona 500 qualifying: Duel races, Date, time, TV, channel, lineups

Alex Bowman (Pole) and Denny Hamlin occupy the top spot for the 2018 Daytona 500, which will be run on Sunday 18 February 1882 (2/18/18) at Daytona International Speedway. Jimmy Johnson, Kyle Bush, and Rookie William Byron completed the top five qualifiers. Erich Jones, Daniel Suarez, Kevin Harwich, Ricky Steinhouse Jr., and Chase Elliott completed the top 10. Thursday, February 15, 2018 (2/15/18), the whole field will be determined by the dual qualifying races. What: Daytona 500 qualifying duel races When: Thursday, Feb 15, 2018 Where: Daytona Speedway, Daytona Beach, Fla. Time: 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Eastern. (Each race is 60 laps, 150 miles.) The practice doubles up to 12:55 PM for the first dual 150 tech class to run. Practice runs from 1st PM to 1:55 PM for the second dual car. The professional sports team celebrates the festivities of hundreds of screams in joy and fly from the sky as a beer separator from the sidewalks in a frenzy. Johnson's best prize for winning all, once in a gathering, from his sponsor, his city of California, a few miles away from his shop. Nasaka champions traditionally get a team from Lane in the final of the season and lifts one twenty in postseason. It's all good fun, but even a seven-time champion will not feel like a parade. "I must admit, it will be an excellent addition to the NASCAR Championship schedule," Johnson said. "It's really cool." Johnson was a regular visitor to the White House when he was ruled by the Nasakaan Chamber, a few years ago he had already started the tradition of his own champions. Inspired by a chat with President Heritage of the NASCAR officer Mike Helton and left a handwriting letter to the successor, Johnson started a Championship Journal. His debut entry series champion Tony Stewart had a December 2011 letter. Johnson Kevin Harvey played the championship with the 2017 Chart Martin Trax junior note, and the day was dedicated to the feast. "It looks like a thread when I come back to me with more than one entry to me," Johnson said to laugh out of his motor vehicle. "Every time I do this I find her way back to get it back." The journal is quite good enough to maintain the Daytona 500 several teasing, good wishes, and advice. But how could the 42-year-old Johnson question how could he fill the empty pages even after his fame came out of the worst season? Or is the handwriting in the wall being a new crop of stars ready to deny Johnson another title for many years? Believe that at your own risk. "I signed up for three more years and I think my team and they have the power to win three," Johnson said. "We won five in a row and I want to believe three in a row." The latest music video published by us was for "A New Chapter, featuring the beautiful vocals of Courtney Alyse Bishop, an old collaborator of BK’s from his time performing as BK Helton. This version of "A New Chapter," co-written with AHNTY in 2017 at Mudslide Coffee in Fort Worth, Texas, appears on Basal Keystones. The shooting for this music video actually began before the filming of the "Naylor-Irby | Game-Love" music video in the spring/summer of 2021 but sat for a year, waiting to be completed. BK had several different young women say they would play parts for this music video, one is a Twitter celebrity in fact, only to leave BK hanging, and so many friends who promised to be there for shooting at Arcadia Coffee did not show up. BK was quite discouraged and let down, but he garnered more of an appreciation for the few who did show up, including both of BK’s friends named Kevin and Rocky, who ended up having to play the main character of the music video against her own desires. BK did not release a single for this music video nor did he heavily promote it, as it isn’t the video it was intended to be, but he is still happy to have created something out of a failed video shoot that is still pleasing to the eyes and fitting for the song, the album, and time in his life. "A New Chapter" is a song about graduating from one chapter of life and beginning another. Footage was shot at Tarleton State University in Stepehenville, on highway 377 in Bluff Dale, Lake Granbury, Granbury, Acton, Arcadia Coffee of Fort Worth, and near Multnomah Falls, Oregon.

Today’s post isn’t about us but about our Fort Worth musician/singer-songwriter friend, Denver Williams. On New Year’s Day this year, 2023, Denver and his wonderfully gifted artist partner, Jana Renée, filmed videos of each other singing in a boat on the water of Caddo Lake. The videos turned out wonderfully. Here is Denver Williams performing his "River Song":

Denver and his band, the Gas Money, have welcomed BK into the Fort Worth music scene and been very helpful, and it is Peter Wierenga the drummer for Denver Williams & the Gas Money and formerly of Siberian Traps (we highly recommend looking up Siberian Traps on your favorite streaming platform—start with Blackfoot) and the mind behind Pete & the Crying Teeth who is helping BK & the Understanding make their first set of studio albums. Coincidentally, the bassist for Denver Williams & the Gas Money is also a BK. His name is BK Lovell, not to be confused with our BK, and he also has solo music out under his own name.

As mentioned, Jana Renée filmed Denver on Caddo Lake, and in turn, Denver captured Jana. Jana is a successful and honorary artist in the Fort Worth art scene and frequently paints murals around DFW for communities, organizations, and businesses. She also happens to have a lovely singing voice and can play the guitar proficiently. Here is Jana Renée performing on Caddo Lake, captured by Denver:

Happy holidays and merry Christmas to yours and you!

Here is an old performance of BK playing a favorite Christmas song of his, "Wishlist" by Pearl Jam at a "church’s" Christmas banquet in 2011. Back then, BK was actually a church musician.

Getting a bit personal, the place that this was filmed BK would go on to leave due to realizing it was a cult, and upon departing, all of the friends seen on stage with him and that can be heard in the audience shunned him for quietly 'breaking fellowship.'

PSA: Always listen to your spirit, your intuition, and trust the vibes. Vibes and intuition are there to protect you and lead you on the right path. And for people of faith, remember, churches are not 'the Body,' you are. Do not let religion rob you of your salvation as Jesus might say.

Stay safe out there! (And do not go anywhere near the "church" where this video was recorded or its people). Happy holidays!
