theyve fallen on some tough times, being a full time street performer isnt easy, and theres been challenge after challenge lately. so i wanted to gas em up here and boost the gofund me so they can keep doing this and making the art theyve been called to do. their video explains more!
One of the first large pieces I’ve done. I think I did this back when I was 20 and drew the ideas since I was 16. Defiantly will improve on it some more.
I cut the head with my saw. That took an hour cutting and grinding. Besides the half hour cutting the belly and brow, I spent 6 hours with the all the frit designs. The flames are made with glass frit and vitregraph pulls(the forbidden taffy). The eye is part of a vitreagraph that I made into a marble.
Photos of the show reception! Gift of Survival will be available to view in person at Push/Pull Seattle until February 21st. You can purchase originals and prints from this show, as well as some of my other goods, in store and online.
Thank you to the folks who made it there despite the cold rain, and sharing their stories of videos of coyote encounters and predator conservation. Thank you to folks who come to see it and support a local artist and local store.
"If you pick a fight with a god of death, I can't guarantee your soul's safety."

Another Soul Eater tattoo concept! One of my characters from one of my favorite anime. Would you be a meister or a weapon? I think I would be a weapon, and I'd be a big sword or a battle axe! 🪓⚔️
If you can't buy from small artists, the least we can do is reblog them :)
Remember, likes ❤️ do pretty much nothing for spreading the love. If you want more people to see the art, potentially people who have money to support the artists, we must reblog!
Let's get this 2024 season started off right!!! 🐝🦋🪲

While attending the opening reception for the Metamorphosis art exhibit (where I have four paintings for sale) last night, I ended up finding and buying these.
The Fantod Pack. This is an Edward Gorey-designed Tarot card deck with a booklet of explanations. Madame Groeda Weyrd is one of his anagram pseudonyms.
The Curious Sofa. Ogdred Weary is another of Edward Gorey's pseudonyms. The illustrations are not even explicit, and technically neither are the words... but given the title, we automatically read it as highly suggestive of wild sexual encounters....
Le Mélange Funeste. And then this is one of "those" books. The title can be translated as "the dreadful mixture".
