                               TOY SIDES! TOY SIDES! TOY SIDES! 

So I was basically killing @secretglittersauce and @sugarglider9603 with CUTENESS (and not angst what has this world come to?!) by showing them my Toy Sides AU! In this au, Thomas is 6 years old and each of his sides (plus Remy and Emile) is a toy that he owns which comes to life! He loves them all very very much! The toys are in order of when Thomas obtained each. Information about each toy below the cut! 

Patton is a cute soft doll like Raggedy Ann and he loves him most of all! He got him first! The heart on his tummy is glow in the dark and he was designed to be a comfort toy. Oh! And that first picture is of him reaching up to be picked up by Thomas!

Next is Dee the glow snek! He’s a soft plush except for his head which is plastic and if you tap the hat his eye glows with light! 

After that we have Professor Logan (As Thomas calls him, Pwofessew Wogan), the learning teddy bear that has a button you can press and he’ll say one of ten phrases! Each phrase is how to spell a particular small word! 

Then we have Prince Roman (Pwince Woman)! He wasn’t originally a prince, he was a knight plush with a cute squishy sword but Thomas’s mama made Roman a cute little paper crown that has been through a lot but Thomas loves it! He is positive Roman fights the monster under the bed because Thomas’s mama told him so!

Virgil (Viwgiw) is next and he is a soft little sad clown doll that Thomas’s grandmother gave him. At first Thomas was very very scared of him because he looked scary but he found out that he was actually very sweet and was always trying to give him love and advice!

After that we have Emile the tummyache monkey! His banana is removable and sticks on with velcro on his paws. But he’s special! He  is filled with rice and you can put him in the microwave to heat him up and make him all warm for a long time so your tummy can feel better when it hurts! The velcro on his tail is so you can wra him around your tummy and secure him in place with the tail to a patch on his back!

Last but certainly not least we have Remy the alligator! (or as Thomas calls him, Wemy the Awigoot! because he has no idea how to pronounce “alligator”) The glasses are connected at the base of the shades and look precarious.

All his life the merman has only known test tubes and needles. He's never seen the blue skies, or the bright sun, he's never felt the sunshine on his scaly skin, nor has he ever been in fresh water. Day in and day out he's inside test tubes, floating in green water and poked and prodded. If he dares to even struggle or fight back he's shocked, whipped, or something equally as bad. So now he's learned to just let them do whatever they want to him. It's better then being in pain.

The merman cant even speak, he was never taught how to speak in his own tongue. He can vaguely understand some human tongue, but it's only repeated words. However, hes gotten pretty good at reading their body language. And he noticed that these past few days they seem to be awaiting something. And he could only wonder what that means.

Right now he has his arms crossed over his scarred chest. And his tail was curled up around his lower torso. He was trying to take a nap at the bottom of the tube since he was exhausted from yesterday's testing. But yet every time he would fall asleep they would whip him to stay awake. He grumbled and stared ahead. Guess he's not getting any sleep any time soon.

A knock sounded on a door. It was people yelling that they had the right to search the lab. Suddenly the door was burst down as people began to scan the illegal lab, they started trying to take down the scientist and grab as many creatures as they could. A person found Janus’s tank and started to walk over.

Among the creatures was Virgil, another mer who had been captured. Though he remembered the days in the ocean. He hated being in the lab, he had been there since he was a kid. Some men out him in a transport tank and Birgil let it happen. It couldn’t be worse than this.
