Bhagat singh why i am an atheist
Bhagat singh why i am an atheist
Bhagat Singh, while known for his revolutionary activities against British colonial rule, was also a prominent atheist. His atheism was influenced by his studies of socialist and communist ideologies, which often advocated for a rejection of religious beliefs as a means to challenge traditional hierarchies.

Singh believed in rationalism and sought to promote science and reason over blind faith. It's possible that his views on atheism resonated with you, leading you to identify as an atheist as well. Remember that personal beliefs are shaped by various factors, and understanding your own reasons for identifying with certain ideas is important.

History of bhagat Singh
Bhagat Singh, born in 1907, was a prominent Indian revolutionary who fiercely opposed British rule. He gained attention for his involvement in protests against repressive laws and the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. In 1928, he and his associates plotted to protest against the Simon Commission and threw non-lethal bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly.
In 1931, he was executed at the age of 23 for his role in the killing of British police officer J.P. Saunders. Singh's courage, dedication, and socialist beliefs made him an iconic figure in India's struggle for independence, inspiring generations with his commitment to justice and freedom.
What happened after Bhagat Singh death?
After Bhagat Singh's execution on March 23, 1931, he became a symbol of resistance against British colonial rule in India. His sacrifice and ideology inspired a new wave of anti-colonial activism. The momentum led to the formation of the Indian National Congress' youth wing and more intense protests.
The efforts eventually contributed to India's independence in 1947. Bhagat Singh's legacy remains alive through books, films, and memorials, serving as a source of inspiration for future generations fighting for justice and freedom.

The Holies of Holy Complex in the world is in Amritsar but it is highly ... The Holies of the Holy Complex in the world is in Amritsar but it is highly corrupt and Mammon infested. https://youtu.be/Lpbyl026AdU Punjabi - Birrs in Gurdwaras are highly corrupt and joined the corrupt Scriptures Ved, Kataeb, etc. https://youtu.be/gkcMzYqkYbE Difference between Scriptures and Revelations Scriptures are a reflection of His Word called the "Oral Torah" because His Word cannot be written down in ink on paper but over the living Tablets of the heart through logical reasoning that Brews "Logo" and logo is His Word and His Word is God Himself that taught you through "intuition". That is why the Good News of the arrival of Christ in the flesh of Jesus was broken by the Messengers of Elohim, Allah, Parbrahm, etc. our Supernatural Father of our "souls" was broken to the illiterate shepherd who is capable of "Intuition" over their hearts and not thinks over their heads that has the book knowing what their moral teachers Rabbis have said in the Books. Thus, University Professors are the least who would ponder over their hearts but seek the answers from Books, which are corruptible. That is why the New Testament wasn't written by the Apostles but after their deaths, devotees wrote it down. But in Christianity, those Husbandmen, the Temple Priests of the dead letters who had corrupted the Old Testament, also corrupted the New Testament. Take for example, the root of the Disciple is discipline as the soldiers are disciplined in the army or the natural once-born Disciples of the Rabbis are disciplined by teaching them the moral laws of Moses. So, John, the Baptist and the Rabbis, Pharisees and Sadducees, etc., the moral teachers they had the Disciples but not Christ Jesus whose intake was the twice-born of the holy spirit, which common sense called "Surti" in Punjabi. So, Jesus had no Disciples but the twice-born workers in the Royal Vineyard of our Supernatural Father Elohim, Allah, Parbrahm, etc. And also, no "Lord" in Christ Jesus as the Lords have slaves. Demi-urge Yahweh, Brahma, Khuda, etc. are the Lords of the creation called "Sarishhti". Now, the Jewish people are not as clever and greedy as the Kings and Emperors of Darkness of the people of the Khatri tribe. So, the corruptions in the New Testament are minor but far greater corruptions in the Adi-Granth, the New Testament of the Sikhs that was written by the scribe Bhai Gurdass Ji sitting in one tent whilst Satguru Arjan Dev Ji in another dictating him. Bhai Gurdass Ji told Satguru Arjan Dev Ji, I hear more people sitting in your tent. Then, Christ Arjan Dev Ji told Bhai Gurdass Ji that every Bhagat and Satguru dictates his own Bani and that makes the written Birr (Holy Book) original Revelations and not dictated by Satguru Arjan Dev Ji alone. So, this original Birr was examined by Satguru Arjan Dev Ji and signed. So, the loose papers were given to the trusted Sikhs to get Bound and they took time to copy the whole Birr and presented two bound copies; one Original and the other copied version. But Satguru Arjan Dev Ji rejected the copied Birr written by men as the Scriptures like the copied by men the Vedas, Quran, Bible, etc. that were copied from written by men Scriptures and liable of corruption. So, the copied Birr of Bhai Bunno Ji became part of the Scriptures and no more through Revelations. The clever Satanic Khatris made changes in the BIRR that Prof Jodh Singh and Trump found and wrote a Book that almost 300 pages have been whitewashed. The Book is available from the Patiala University Press called "KARTAR PURI BIRR DAE DARSHAN". So, today the "Khari Birr", the copied version is very TRUE whilst these printed Birrs are nowhere the true versions but highly corrupted Birrs of the most clever greedy Khatris. Thus, goes the saying, "VED KATAEB ADGRANTH KAHO MATT JHOOTHAE; JHOOTHA OOH JO NAA VICHARAE". The scriptural Books are corrupted but you have to vet them in the holy spirit = Surti or common sense. In Kalyug of the greedy people, this applies:- PAWANN (REVELATION) ARANBHH (BEGINNING) SATGUR (SAT = THE BOTTOM LINE GOSPEL TRUTH, THE ROCK OVER WHICH THE TEMPLE OF GOD STANDS AND GUR MEANS TARIKA = FORMULA, WHICH IS LOGICAL REASONING THAT YOU YOURSELF HAVE TO DO) MATT (WISDOM OR WAY OF LIFE) WAILA (TIME); SHABD (END PRODUCT = NECTAR OF THE LOGICAL REASONING CALLED LOGO = HIS WORD) GURU = TEACHER; SURAT (COMMON SENSE) DHUNN CHAELA (A DEVOTED STUDENT). The Gospel cannot be written down in ink on paper as the Scriptures, the Milk for the once-born babies are. Gospel is the Flesh of Jesus and Nanak or what came out of their mouth of them. In India, the crooks were imitating the Gospel and for this reason, Satguru Arjan Dev Ji got one written under his supervision in which every Saint and Satguru himself appeared and spoke that the Scribe Bhai Gurdass Ji sitting in another tent wrote. Each page was signed by Satguru Arjun Dev Ji. The one who was sent to get it bound diligently copied it and presented two Holy Books called Ad-Gra

On Martyrs' Day of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh -23 March
The way we should remember Shaheed Bhagat Singh in 2021..
For all those who are reading this, and are in their 30s or above, what were you doing at the age of 21?
Suppose, when one of us was a 21 year old, most of his earnings, a few lunch boxes, a laptop, few books and a couple of barely used phones went to the Autorickshaw wallahs of Mumbai.
The reason - he was never able to learn the art of getting inside a Mumbai Local.
Tumblr media
Being from a city where everyone would often get down from a tram, do some marketing (yah, that’s our word for shopping), perhaps have some puchkas , watch a Bumba da starrer, argue with a complete stranger on the Argentinian economy, and still hop back on the still slowly moving beauty on rails, to occupy the same seat - The experience of the Mumbai Locals was overwhelming for him.
Tumblr media
This is one of us’s story - when he was 21 years of age- A CONTEMPORARY COMMON MAN.
But, At 21 years of age, Bhagat Singh along with a friend, pumped 8 bullets into a British Officer, he thought was responsible for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai, a leading ideologue and freedom fighter of India.
4 months later, he along with another friend - exploded two non-lethal smoke bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly of New Delhi - shouted slogans - distributed pamphlets and courted an arrest.
He was 21.
Tumblr media
While in Jail, he went on a 116 day satyagraha and hunger strike to demand better conditions for the Indian prisoners.
The British jail authorities tried hard to break the strike. They even filled the water pitchers in the jail cell with Milk, hoping that either the strikers would die of thirst, or break their hunger strike. They failed.
His hunger strike was broken only after the death of fellow satyagrahi, Jatindra Nath Das
and an emotional appeal made by his father.
He utilised his ongoing trials to become the voice of a subjugated nation - ready to break the chains of the British Raj.
A whole nation sat up to take notice - Nehru went to Jail, just to meet him - Jinnah dedicated his speeches to him - he became a national symbol of the Indian resistance to British Colonialism.
There was a noose hanging above his head, and he wanted the Britishers to deliver latest newspapers, pen and paper in his jail cell.
He was 22.
Tumblr media
The then Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin had to declare an emergency in India on 1st May 1930, just to quell the nationwide demonstrations and to bring in an ordinance to set up a fast track court to prosecute him.
During the 1 year 11 month period, when his trial was on - He along with his associates, became a torch of light - inspiring a nation, which had long given up the idea of self respect - He was as much a hero for an Afridi making illegal weapons and bombs for our freedom in Darra Adam Khel, as he was for an Iyer Lady in Coimbatore, secretly donating all the little jewellery she had, for the cause of the Indian freedom struggle.
The British Raj was rattled - Mahatma Gandhi realised that he wasn’t the most popular Indian anymore - the Lords in the British Parliament lodged protests - the regular Indians poured on the streets despite the beating and humiliations - The Indian poets, thinkers and writers caught the tailwind of an idea whose time had finally come.
At 7:30 PM, on 23rd march 1931, he was secretly hanged by the British, a day (11 hours actually) before the announced schedule, for waging a war on the King.
He was 23.
Tumblr media
He had written:
“Generally a wrong meaning is attributed to the word revolution… Our understanding is that BOMBS AND PISTOLS DO NOT MAKE REVOLUTION. THE SWORD OF REVOLUTION IS SHARPENED ON THE WHETTING-STONE OF IDEAS.”
He was not from a poor family- he wasn’t someone who had ‘nothing to lose’. He wasn’t an undereducated brain washed emotionalist. He wrote in and edited newspapers - won competitions of scholarships at a very young age - started a youth organisation in his teens - he too could have chosen to lead a comfortable life like the others - he was well aware of the consequences of his actions - he still chose to do, what he did.
He did not become a hero when he shot a British officer - He became one when he courted a voluntary arrest.
He did not become a national icon for his act of violence - he became one for challenging the British Raj with the power of an Idea and a voice which was just and right.
Tumblr media
It has been 90 years since, and Shaheed Bhagat Singh still lives - not because he picked up a gun - He lives because he picked up the sagging spirits of a nation and taught us all the true value of our freedom.
Jai Hind. Inqalab Zindabad. (Translation: Hail the motherland. Long live the revolution)

what do you think of Gandhi? I read some open eyes stuff about him lately and I want to know your opinion on him, if you don't mind of course
okay okay so it’s like... a case of the lesser of two evils? in a sense? but for the life of me, i cannot tell if what he did for the country can erase all the evil he’s done in his life. bear with me because this will be.. kind of long.
tw: racism, the holocaust, mentions of sexual assualt/r*pe
on one hand,
he beat his wife, wouldn’t sleep with her when they got old (compared her to a weak cow), and made young, underage, naked girls sleep next to him throughout the night to test his celibacy (i don’t fucking understand this— hinduism does not ask you to be a celibate after marriage. he was not a saint.)
he was misogynistic as fuck; he participated in victim shaming, supported rape culture, said honour killing was okay because a victim of sexual assault would taint her family’s honour and respect in society. he believed a woman getting harassed was her own fault.
again, about his wife, can’t tell you the shit he put her through. he refused to give her modern medicine (penicillin i think, but don’t quote me on this), ultimately leading to her death, but used modern medicine when he came down with malaria to nurse himself back to health? apparently the reasons for not giving her the medicine were ‘religious’. religion doesn’t apply to gandhi, it seems
GANDHI WAS RACIST. while in south africa he actively supported the apartheid regime, said he was treated badly because he was an indian all while treating black people like scum (said that black africans were savages and ‘living a life of nakedness’, was hellbent on convincing the british that the indian community in south africa was better than the natives). he said jews should’ve killed themselves (public mass suicide) in the holocaust to prove a point, as they were dying anyway. he criticised them for defending themselves.
was against contraception (women who used them were whores) and menstruation was unholy and dirty.
was a baby, and hear me out on this. he went on hunger strikes the moment someone went against him— that is not how you lead. when ambedkar wanted seperate constituencies for the underprivileged (here, meaning the dalits), he declared a fast unto death until the motion was taken away. [for the record, i think seperate constituencies were the wrong way to go too, but you cannot guilt someone into dropping something they so wholeheartedly believe in. ambedkar was a dalit himself. he knew fucking better than a privileged upper class man who had the luxury to go abroad for a higher education in times when that was unthought of.]
(there’s probably more that i’m missing out on, and will find links so you can read up more)
on the other hand,
although he did not believe that the caste system should be abolished, he supported the harijans, voiced their struggles, and played a big part in reducing untouchability in the country
taught a large, vulnerable section of the youth about ahimsa (the principle of non violence) at a time where the country was in turmoil, when civil strifes, public violence, riots, etc. seemed to be the only path that led to independence
paved the way for a sort of ‘social harmony’ in india
successfully led a non violent tax revolt, the salt march to dandi, the first non cooperation movement. he had the wits to call it quits, when there was a need. he didn’t push movements that would harm others, called some movements off after the jallianwala bagh massacre.
saying that, he did make himself the figure of independence in india. [i do not believe he was the reason— i think credit should be given to bhagat singh, subhash chandra bose, sukhdev thapar. gandhi made himself the forerunner, but these are the ones who pushed the movement that brought india to independence] he became a leading figure when india had the desperate need for one, and united different fronts (religions, caste, ages) into one unified fight for the motherland.
it pains to know that this is the kind of man our country applauds, and yet, we cannot discredit what he has done for the freedom struggle. i do not think he is our saviour, but he was sure was a catalyst. having said that, he doesn’t deserve to be the man on our currency. good does not erase evil.

Indian Independent Movement
Tumblr media
Gandhi is one of the most popular figures in world history, a name that is taught around the world for his work. He was a massive figure in India’s movement for independence from the British and will always be the first name people will think of when India did finally gain their independence. But, because of how big Gandhi’s name has become and how revered he is by people like MLK and activists today, there are many crucial figures of the independence movement that don’t get the recognition they deserve. This blog post will be about one of my favorite revolutionary freedom fighters, a figure that every Punjabi must know and every Indian should know, Bhagat Singh.
I understand that this isn’t Asian American activism and that it is just Indian activism, but the reason I’ve decided to do this blog was because it is about a revolutionary that most Indian Americans are unaware of or they’ve heard of him but shrugged him off. He is an important figure that Indian Americans must know of, because he is one of the reasons that the independence movement was successful and someone who sparked fire within thousands of Indians.
Bhagat Singh was an Indian socialist revolutionary who was responsible for the death of an English police officer named John Saunders, mistaking him for a police superintendent named James Scott. The “failed” attack on James Scott was due to the British police abusing a comrade of Singh named Lala Lajpat Rai. Rai died in the custody of the police and the British government denied any wrongdoing had occurred that led to Rai’s death. This caused Singh and two of his fellow comrades to seek out the superintendent James Scott and kill him, which unfortunately did not go to as planned for Singh and his comrades.
They were arrested and tried for the murder of the British police office John Saunders and were sentenced to be hanged. He was executed on March 23, 1931. His death was met with both praise for his actions and also resentment. Many Indians that were behind Gandhi and his peace movement believed Singh’s actions were radical and hurt the independence movement. But many others, like myself, believed that Gandhi’s approach was not enough to gain freedom from the British. Physical action was required. It’s similar in a way to MLK and his differences in ideology with Malcolm X. One believed in a peaceful approach, one believed in direct action that will secure their goals no matter what fashion is used.
Another reason as to why Bhagat Singh is one of my favorite historical figures is because he is often regarded as one of the first few Marxists in India. He was known to have read the works of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Leon Trotsky. All famous Communists that I have read, asides from Trotsky. It seems like many of the famous revolutionaries that people know off have mostly based their ideologies on Marxism or a form of Communism. It kind of seems like people just brush that under the rug, which does a huge disservice to Marxism and Communism.

ET TU SOCIETY???
So, hey guys I just wanna start this with one question!! …  What is the true potential of a human being?? Some say it's gaining money.. While the others say living your life happily without any strains or any work that brings you headache.
Come on, is this really true?? Gaining money itself is lot of effort and strain. And the next any work that doesn't give stress?? Is there some work where you can do that??if so please tell me I would be so interested!!
And I missed the important part where many of 'em say this often though.. "Proper education". What I mean is there are so called "toppers" or "merits" as some of you call can lead a successful life..!! Is that true?? Like not all can just succeed with proper education!! It actually doesn't depend on what you study it's what you really learn from it.. Um, I guess many who are reading should've got exhausted by looking at the word "education". I'm actually sure about that. So, I'll cut the education topic right here for now!! So we can move onto the rest.
So remember one thing!! seriously.. I'm not trying to deliberate anyone with my views. Let's talk about something very serious this time. What if I said I'm gonna talk about freedom?? You heard it right!! I am gonna talk about it. So, as you guys know India got independence in 1947. please stay on this topic!! I don't mean to bore you!!. We just got freedom on a F@#$ing paper!! Yaa what you just saw is right!! Guys just think once do you really feel we got independence?? To be logical we got rid of the Britishers. Do you remember Gandhi saying the word "ahimsa" all the time?? By the way "Ahimsa" means non-violence. He said we have to gain independence without using any ways of violence. And do you know the worst part?? Freedom fighters excluding Gandhi such as Bhagat Singh  supported the violent way against British. But he never succeeded!!. He was killed at a very young age of 23!! And suprisingly the date of his death was 23 march 1931!! The date and age matched together!! And Gandhi was killed after India got independence.
But his time he was assasinated after a year of independence!! but why??
Did the Britishers still think he was gonna do something to them ??. Of course the hitman here is Nathuram Godse!! A follower of Gandhi!! Then this really gave me a big thought!! And there are even more fighters who chose the path of violence. But the problem is they always thought we should fight back  not with just silence, but by breaking it!! But this point doesn't make Gandhi a coward!! He was so stubborn to get independence!! Not by himself but by inspiring people and leading them!!. Uh… yeah I said freedom and I'm taking it somewhere right?? But it's time I got the chance to use the word 'betrayal'. So, um in many stories what I read there was always called a word betrayal!! from Brutus betraying Caesar to Nathuram Godse killing Gandhi nothing has really changed!! "Betrayal" is  always a weapon used to kill good people.
what I mean to say is no matter what you want to change, remember to be aware of your loved ones by taking care in one hand and observing them in one hand!! But after all don't lose hope!!
Now let's get that "education" topic again!! People who didn't get proper education always think the "educated" are  the good ones!! What if I said they were wrong!! I mean not everyone though.. Many of you people are aware of the rapes that are happening over the country. Trust me there are even so called "educated people" in this!! Education means not just reading a book it's about understanding your surroundings, people etc..etc.. Like guys what is the need or purpose to rape a girl?? Can't she just stay normal like the others?? The reason behind rapes is actually many of the men are mislead such as- they were always told " A man is stronger than any other woman". They were always taught that women are weak, they always get emotional… don't be like them!! Of course there are no such things in this generation is what I thought but , I was wrong. That brainwashing is still going on till now!! And if they never were brainwashed with these thoughts I strongly believe there would never be such cases in future.
You might wonder that why the hell did I raise the topic about history?? This is why: then there were Britishers who treated us like slaves. Now it's us treating our own people!!
We are betraying our own society just like "Brutus did to Caesar". And killing women just like "Godse killed Gandhi"!! Now please don't make it an issue because I just used history as a metaphor!! But not to hurt any regional or personal feelings of anyone.

Sambhar Salt Lake
Tumblr media
An environmental disaster of an unprecedented level has caused the deaths of thousands of migratory and local bird species at the Sambhar Lake. The reason has been established as Avian Botulism, a neuromuscular disease, that causes paralysis brought on by the Botulinum Neurotoxin upon ingestion. Around 18 thousand carcasses of various migratory and local bird species have been buried in Jaipur and Nagaur district all together till now. Avian Botulism is quite common in birds and many incidents have occurred in the past, reported from different parts of the world including Chilika Lake in India, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan in Canada. However, what has been witnessed in Sambhar was the worst of all.
Of about 200 sq. Km, Sambhar Lake is the largest Inland Saltwater Lake located around 80 KM southwest of Jaipur spread across three districts Jaipur, Nagaur, and Ajmer in the state of Rajasthan. The historical Town of Sambhar creates an entrance to the salt pans where a staggering 2,10,000 tonnes of salt production takes place every year. The lake is divided into three sections starting with Shaheed Bhagat Singh Salt Pan where most of the salt production facilities exist, further, we can find Shakambari Jheel where the famous Shakambari Devi Temple resides next to a hill just at the periphery of the lake overlooking vast salt flatlands. Ultimately, it concludes at the Maa Devyani Salt Lake.
A history withholding 1500 years of salt production passed down from various rulers such as the Rajputs, The Mughals, The Britishers, the local communities and finally the Government of India, during different periods in past can now be seen enduring a general degradation and reduction of water accumulation at the Lake. Reason being, unwarranted construction of check dams and diversion of river water for agricultural use by the residents of nearby towns and villages.
The route to sambhar goes through the town of Phulera which can be accessed using the Ajmer express highway by taking a right on reaching Mahlan if missed the next right can be taken at Mokhampura, approaching from Jaipur. If progressing from Ahmedabad(Gujarat), one can reach Ajmer and further their journey crossing Kishangarh. Mostly, individuals advancing from the east can simply reach Jaipur and then take their journey forward accordingly.
Ultimately, to assess the aftermath of the massacre manifested at the lake, we planned upon a trip. Our journey suffused with fog started around 8:30 on 29th December 2019 in the morning.
Further, on our way to witness the disastrous remnants of previously mentioned ruination, we came across detrimental mining activities whereupon the whole mountains could be seen depleted into rubble. Approaching the Sambhar lake we took a quick detour to explore Devyani Temple situated adjacent to the lake. At first glance on entering, we witnessed a pond infested with algae and partially dead lotus plants at the center surrounded by the local architecture. After exploring a bit we decided to leave for Sambhar Lake.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our first encounter with the lake gave us to scan over salt quarries and relics of the railway tracks and abandoned bogeys, which are part of the salt production facilities existing at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Salt Pan. Moving forward, we left for the infamous salt flatlands spread across in front of the Shakambari Devi temple which is 22 km from the salt pan itself. Driving, we reached and parked the car in one part of the lake and decided to tread on feet, this vast expanse of nothingness. We were expecting a healthy amount of birds, migratory and local, consisting of avocets, stilts, plovers, and coots accompanied by the inquiring birdwatchers but to our surprise, very few members of the human race and their vehicles scattered could be seen at the salt flatlands. At a distance, one could see some birds frolicking in the waters. We came across many feathers of birds and a carcass, presumably of a sandpiper, stuck upon a lone stone, as an evident reminder of disaster struck upon the lake, a sad tragedy involving outrageous numbers of migratory and local bird species.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is no milestone that birds can use, unlike humans. To navigate the free winds and space they make use of their genetic inherent qualities or they might use their sight, sound, and smell. Theories ranging from quantum entanglement to genetic coding are trying to explain this mystery but till now, nobody really knows how birds navigate their migratory routes - only hypothesis and speculations galore.
Birds like Gull-billed Tern, a completely white with grey feathers, orange legs and beak, and a black cap, migrates 6000 kilometers all the way from Spain, traversing Italy and then Greece eventually traveling to the Persian Gulf, leading to Tropical Africa and finally making their journey through the Indus Plains of Pakistan and India it lands in Sambhar. Another bird called the Temminck’s Stint is a small wader with mainly plain brown upperparts and head with white underparts, travels from Scandinavia and Russia, and spends its winters in Sambhar. The lake holds much importance amongst the astonishing numbers of migratory species visiting for wintering. The majority of them that visit Sambhar during winters are from Europe and Central Asia consisting of Sandpipers, Ruffs, Plovers, Coots, Common Teals, Northern Shovelers, Gadwalls, Gull-billed terns, and Redshanks.
Contemplating over the distances traveled and the variety of species arriving at the lake one can assess how much the catastrophe must have affected the bird population world over. The deaths of innocuous avian species at such an unprecedented level due to the degrading ecology should be enough to capture people’s imagination and force them to envision or conjure up a solution so that the situation we are in doesn’t deteriorate. Such extreme events conspired due to the unhealthy climate and environment is in itself a grave reminder that such profound holocausts are inevitable unless we take cognizance of the dire situation we are in.

Dog-eared books
I’ve read the following books through mid 2018 till now.
1. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (J.K. Rowling) - The eighth book in the HP series. Written in the form of a play and was an entertaining read. It’s HP, after all.
2.Veronika Decides to Die (Paulo Coelho) - This was better than Alchemist. Though the Zahir was even better.
3. Be Careful What you Wish For (Jeffrey Archer) - A usual JA bestseller.
4.Calling Sehmat (Harinder Sikka) - After watching Raazi, I just had to read this,
5.One Indian Girl (Chetan Bhagat)- Better than the typical Chetan Bhagat books. More urbane and sensible.
6.The boy who loved (Durjoy Dutta) - My first Durjoy Dutta novel was a big disappointment.
7.The Origin (Dan Brown) - A racy novel. but not better than the Da Vinci Code.
8.Thirteen Reasons Why (Jay Asher): It’s like reading the story behind any Hollywood series based on school life. Hannah Baker’s suicide story this time.
9.The Book Thief (Marcus Zusak) - Death narrating this story is a new and refreshing concept.
10. The Girl in Room 105  (Chetan Bhagat)  - Depressingly predictable and judgmental.
11. Perfume - The story of a murderer - (Patrick Süskind) - Read my book review of this, if you will.
12.Gone Girl (Gillian Flynn) - The novel beihnd the famous Hollywood movie. Intense.
13. The Leapfroggers: An Insider's Account of ISRO (V. P. Sandlas) - Amazingly well written and detailed description about life in ISRO.
14. I too had a Love Story (Ravinder Singh) - My first from Ravinder Singh. Good language but predictable story line.
15. Like it happened yesterday (Ravinder Singh) - I thought it would be like no. 14 but the generic life of young Ravinder doesn’t appeal so much as something new to the reader.
16. Books on the way to this list -
Can Love Happen Twice (Ravinder Singh) - Hoping it would be good.
As a Man Thinketh (James Allen)  - On thoughts and thinking. My fave.
The Secrets We Keep (Sudeep Nagarkar) - Trying out this author.
Recommendations welcome. To be regularly updated.

Punjabi - Birrs in Gurdwaras are highly corrupt and joined the corrupt S... Punjabi - Birrs in Gurdwaras are highly corrupt and joined the corrupt Scriptures Ved, Kataeb, etc. https://youtu.be/gkcMzYqkYbE Difference between Scriptures and Revelations By Brother Rajinder Nijjhar, M.Sc., Retired Senior Lecturer in Metallurgy KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana, W. Africa. Scriptures are a reflection of His Word called the "Oral Torah" because His Word cannot be written down in ink on paper but over the living Tablets of the heart through logical reasoning that Brews "Logo" and logo is His Word and His Word is God Himself that taught you through "intuition". That is, the Gospel cannot be written down in ink on paper as the Scriptures, the Milk for the once-born babies are. The one who was sent to get it bound diligently copied it and presented two Holy Books called Ad-Granth; Satguru Arjan Dev Ji ...

The real reason Sushant Singh Rajput was forced to drop out of Half Girlfriend, was replaced by Arjun... - Hindustan Times
Tumblr media
The real reason Sushant Singh Rajput was forced to drop out of Half Girlfriend, was replaced by Arjun... - Hindustan Times Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to star in Half Girlfriend. An old tweet by author Chetan Bhagat, in which he’d announced Sushant Singh Rajput’s casting in the film adaptation of his novel, Half Girlfriend, has been unearthed. Curse of “Chitta” eating up land of rivers?
The land of Punjab is proud to be the land of gurus and now this land is fast turning into a land of drinkers. The likes of martyrs Bhagat Singh, Udham Singh who was part of the country’s independence, the valiant warriors of this same Punjab. Sikandar, who won all the country, had also gone empty-handed from Punjab. It is this land, also that Guru Ji Baba Ram Rahim Ji tried to protect and tamed most youths from getting into this addiction. Mass awareness drives and de-addiction drives along with sports and even employment opportunities through MSG products. But now that he is not around, the menace is once again gaining power.
Tumblr media
Punjab has seen it all, although right from the black era of terrorism Punjab is have faced every problem. The most drunken state of Punjab is fast turning into most addicted too. In Punjab where traditional drugs like opium, poppy, liquor were coming since long ago and they are still going on. Then came the smack and shriek of these drugs, once again stripped the youth of Punjab.
The Rising influx of drugs a major concern area for families
The influx of Drugs is not in favor of Punjab. Alcohol is the main source of income of the government today and tremors are being rolled out in Punjab. No doubt these families will be displaced by these addicts. But the youth of the present era is hit badly by heroin (white). Today the youth of Punjab is becoming enslaved by white drugs also called Chitta. The drug that was being supplied in large cities at one time is now available from door to door in the villages.
Drug Abuse and Music
The Punjabi music industry is also doing good business on this drug scene. Such sophisticated songs often come to the fore, which include alcohol, drugs in their music to lure the young ones. There is also a change in the way of the use of this Chitta or white drug.
In fact, Baba Ram Rahim Ji countered the drug menace at all points by awareness, de-addiction, employment, and even music. He composed pop music songs and whole night concerts were held, to divert the youth which was getting an overdose of adultery and addition through music flooded in the market in the form of albums and film songs.
Not many would know the main purpose Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji took to films and Drug abuse was one of these.
Earlier Chitta was pulled in by breathing, but in today’s time, through direct injections, these are quickly injected into the blood. Anything made in the blood is difficult to extract, especially drug abuse. This drug overdose leads to the cause of death through injections. Today the youth of Punjab is becoming a slave of white drugs. He also composed his own songs, which were motivating youngsters to move ahead on the path of humanity and spirituality.
But we are back to the square once again now. Border areas of Punjab and Haryana are once again the targets of drug peddlers. Recently, according to the figures published by All India Institute of Medical Science Delhi, 76 percent of the people in the age group of 18 to 35 years of age are using some drug or substance abuse. Of these, 53 percent of young people are using heroin, which is a matter of concern, because the heroin addicts cannot give up on this drug. The average rate of heroin drug drops in Punjab is less than 1 percent. Heroin is composed of a variety of chemical elements which cause great harm to the human body’s digestive system. The intake is usually between 0.5 grams of 2 grams a day. According to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the annual value of the drug in Punjab is Rs 7,500 crore. These figures are increasing day by day.
There is hardly any page of a newspaper that does not have the news of dead youths with this drug. Always the reason for the Punjab government that this drug comes from the border. There is no doubt in this, as far as the border area is concerned, much of Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan share the border with Pakistan but! The trend of getting ‘white’ habits has not been revealed in the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan.
Then why is Punjab being targeted? In Punjab, it is a drug trade that is why most Punjab comes in. The Punjab government, of course, formed the STF to abolish the drug but there was no result at the grassroots level. Drug De-addiction. There is a need to reduce the number of people suffering from intoxicants. The government should allow the police to work fairly so that the drug traffickers can be controlled. Apart from this, the combination of employment and sports can also be done away with this bad condition. Drugs are the problems of the whole country, so the Center and the state governments need to formulate such a policy to ensure that the supply of narcotics from the border ceases completely. It is a shame that a Govt fails to protect its people from anti-social elements and the ones who come forward for the same, for instance, Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji are targeted for their good work instead.

Kesari (केसरी)- Movie
Ever since the promos of Kesari were out, this movie had been on my must watch list.  The movie was released on Holi (21st of March) and, on 22nd of  March,  when I was checking the show timings on an app, I received a call from one of my friends who is a co-resident in our apartments.  He told me that he had a ticket booked for the next day’s show of Kesari but he will not be able to attend due to some personal issues.  He asked me if I would like to go and watch the movie against that ticket.  I was amused by this coincidence and obviously replied in affirmative.  However, after disconnecting the call, I realised one more coincidence.  I was going to watch Kesari, a movie about martyrdom of 21 Indian Sikh soldiers, on 23rd of March, which happens to be the death anniversary of the three most legendary martyrs of India- Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Hari Rajguru.  Could any day have been more appropriate to get introduced to the great martyrs of Saragarhi, courtesy Kesari!
Kesari (केसरी) is derived from केसर, which is the Hindi term for saffron.  Hence, Kesari denotes saffron-coloured, a colour which symbolises fire, courage, sacrifice and dharma.  This colour is also strongly associated with two of the great religions in India, Hinduism and Sikhism.  Thus, the filmmakers make their mark from the selection of the title itself, which is integral to the tale and the message that the movie intends to deliver.
This movie recounts the extraordinary valour shown by 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army in the Battle of Saragarhi, which was fought on 12th of September 1897 in the erstwhile North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan).  This small contingent of Sikh soldiers was deployed at the Saragarhi post (a small fortress), created as a heliographic communication post between two other Forts under British control (Fort Lockhart and Fort Gulistan), which  were otherwise not visible to each other.  On 12th of September 1897, this post was attacked by around ten thousand Pashtun Orakzai/Afghan tribesman. When the Sikh contingent signalled to the officers stationed at Fort Lockhart about the attack, they were told that immediate help was not possible.
The odds were stacked completely against the Sikh contingent.  Apart from the option of deserting the post, the only other choice before them was not ‘do or die’, but ‘do and die’.  But, as the epic lines in Sikhism go “चिड़िया नाल मैं बाज़ लडावां , गीदडां नू मैं शेर बनावां, सवा लख नाल इक लडावां, तां गोविंद सिंह नाम धरावां.” And, following the footprints of the great Sikh warriors before them, the contingent led by Havildar Ishar Singh chose to fight…to a certain death, knowing well that they had not as many bullets for their guns, as many enemy flags were flying before their eyes.  And, this decision of theirs made me feel like:
कौन झुका पाएगा भारत माता तेरा शीश
दस हज़ार से लोहा ले लें जब तेरे इक्कीस !
The fabulous 21 gave the enemies one of the toughest fights in the annals of war history.  Another meaning of Kesari in Hindi is lion (सिंह), and all the soldiers (incidentally with the surnames सिंह) really fought like lions.  At least 180 enemies were stated to have been killed by the Sikh contingent in this engagement, before they were martyred.  All of them were posthumously awarded the ‘Indian Order of Merit’, which was the highest gallantry award, which an Indian soldier was eligible to receive at that time.  Unfortunately, this battle is yet to find its deserving place of pride in the curriculum of Indian history.  And, hence, it is very heartening to note that the Indian filmmakers are trying to initiate some correction in this regard.
Akshay Kumar in the lead role of Havildar Ishar Singh is totally convincing.  Due to his patriotic sentiments, involvement with issues pertaining to welfare of soldiers & their families and Punjab connection, this role must have been very close to his heart.  And Akshay has utilised this opportunity to the fullest by leaving us with a performance which is as amazing as the tale itself.  The original ‘action king’ gets to do some spectacular stunts too in the movie.  The other cast in the movie also impress with their acting.
Director Anurag Singh, an established name in the Punjabi cinema, does a very good job in Kesari. Though some degree of dramatisation of events is considered acceptable in making of a commercial movie, the Director has tried to remain faithful to the historical records.  Some sequences in the movie are exceptional.  One such sequence relates to Sepoy Gurmukh Singh, who was the last one to fall.  At the age of 19, Gurmukh Singh was the youngest member of the unit.  He was the one responsible for sending heliographic signals to the other forts.  As his fellow soldiers were falling one by one, Gurmukh Singh was sending heliographic signals regarding their martyrdom to Fort Lockhart and, at the same time, he was writing their names on the parapet of the fortress as if it were an inscription on a memorial.  After writing twenty names on the parapet in this manner, he writes his own name as the 21st name before going all out against the enemies.
The cinematography, visual effects and music of the movie are very good. The songs are situational and high on emotions.  See the following opening lines of one such song:
तलवारों पे सर वार दिए,
अंगारों में जिस्म जलाया है,
तब जाके कहीं हमने सर पे,
ये केसरी रंग सजाया है ।
The movie conveys some very important messages.  If the enemy belongs to a particular religion, there is no reason for considering that religion itself as our enemy.  Humanity must transcend all such considerations.  The movie also serves to underscore the immense sacrifices of the Sikh community in the building up of this nation.
As regards rating, I would happily give this movie 4.5 stars (out of 5).
India has faced so many onslaughts in the past from so many invaders, which were guided not only with the ill motive of territorial conquest but also of forcing a demographic change in this nation.  They might have succeeded, had not most of the times some Indian lion stood in between, like the lions of Saragarhi, with Kesari turban on their head and Kesari valour in their bloodstream.  Let these bravehearts be our beacon, our guiding star, our inspiration.  With a heart full of gratitude towards them, I wrap up with this little prayer to the almighty.

01/7Bollywood films that were originally offered to Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide has stirred up a storm in the otherwise glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood. Since his untimely demise on June 14, actors and directors closest to him have spoken up about how SSR was ‘let down’ on several instances in his career. While some blamed the nexus, others alleged nepotism as the reason why the actor lost out on film projects. We have drawn up a list of films that were originally offered to Sushant over the years but didn’t come to be due to various reasons. Take a look... 02/7Narayan Murthy Biopic
In the latest reports doing the rounds online, Sushant Singh Rajput’s close friend came forward to allege that the actor was “replaced” by Akshay Kumar in the upcoming biopic on Narayan Murthy which is to be directed by his ‘Chhichhore’ director Nitesh Tiwari. The man claimed that the Infosys co-founder himself asked for SSR to be cast in the film that has allegedly gone to Kumar. Contrary to these claims, it was announced late 2019 that not Nitesh, but wife Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, would be making the biopic on the real-life couple - NR Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murty. While the director announced that she had been working on the script, she also said that a cast was “not finalised”. 03/7Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram Leela
Over the past month since the actor’s passing, it was even revealed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s hugely successful ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram Leela’ was initially offered to Sushant Singh Rajput before it went to Ranveer Singh. According to reports doing the rounds, the director was keen to work with Rajput, and offered him the lead role in the film but owing to date issues, and an alleged contract with YRF studios, the actor had to turn down the role which eventually went to Ranveer Singh. Reports state that Bhansali even offered him ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’, both of which he couldn’t commit to, sighting date issues. 04/7Half Girlfriend
Did you know that ‘Half Girlfriend’ was among the many films Sushant Sing Rajput was supposed to be a part of? Over the past days, fans had been circulating Chetan Bhagat’s tweet from 2015 which announced Sushant as the lead actor for the film adaptation of the author’s book. However, the film later went on to star Arjun Kapoor. While fans have been crying foul and claiming nepotism as the reason for the replacement, Sushant had actually set the record straight saying that he had signed a Dinesh Vijan film long before Half Girlfriend owing to some confusion, he was told both films could be shot simultaneously. However as both films had to be shot in a particular month, he opted out of the romantic drama as he has committed to Vijan first. 05/7RAW
Another project that Sushant Singh Rajput “shocked” makers when he opted out of the project was the thriller ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’. Although now added in John Abraham’s list of successful films, the movie was originally set to feature Sushant in the lead with the makers launching special posters to make the announcement. But the actor later bowed out of the film sighting scheduling conflicts, leaving the producers scrambling for a replacement. Reports claimed that the actor’s calendar was working with a full calendar and asked for his schedule to be divided into 15-day schedules contrary to the two 30-day schedules that were required to complete the shoot. 06/7Fitoor
Sushant Singh Rajput, who made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with Abhishek Kapoor's ‘Kai Po Che’, made headlines when it was revealed that he would no longer be a part of the director's romantic-drama ‘Fitoor’. According to reports, the actor wanted to be a part of “mentor” Abhishek’s film but had to step down as the changes in the shooting schedule clashed with his dates committed to director Shekar Kapur's 'Paani' - that ultimately got shelved. SSR’s spokesperson confirmed in a statement, "Sushant will not be doing 'Fitoor'. The film, for which he had allotted dates this year and kept himself free, has shifted from its original October 2013 schedule to March 2014 and now to July 2014. It now clashes with his dates allotted for 'Paani' due to which he had to let it go. He hopes to collaborate with Abhishek on some project in the future.” 07/7Saare Jahan Se Accha We don’t need any throwback tweets or stories to refresh our memory about the space film that is still awaiting its take off. ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’ has long been in the news for the many celebs approached for the film, including Sushant Singh Rajput, besides Shah Rukh Khan and even Aamir Khan. SSR who was previously set to star in a space film 'Chanda Mama Door Ke' and even went for a month-long training at NASA to gear up for his role as an astronaut, was reportedly one of the people being considered for the role of Astronaut Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to travel to space. Latest reports indicated that Vicky Kaushal is now set to star in the project. However, no official announcement on the project has still been made. Interestingly, Sushant had revealed that he was working on his own space film.
