hakuno isn't bob the builder hot cause the difference between drunk girl and btb is a btb doesn't have as many internalized personality problems and a drunk girl is more passive in their support (does not at all diminish the kindness of importance of meeting the drunk girl) compared to the active energy of a btb 'i'm going to fix you and take care of you no matter what' personality

im adding the chapter name to the the title i think it is an important addition. i just wanted to give a quick update on what im working on so there are two requests im churning out rn and i am close to hitting 100 followers so i am planning on doing some type of 100 followers drabble, ficlet or smth like that event! okay without further ado let’s get into this chapter WARNING!! there will be SPOILERS AHEAD!!

hm i like to think that the night of when that happened, yona just sits with hak outside and he just starts talking about his feelings and yona is just there listening because hak doesn’t really talk about his feelings )): he usually  keeps the Cool and Strong front for Princess Yona but those feelings are bound to come out one day, and that day was after seeing soo won again. he goes on about how it felt to see him again and you know about how he just felt so betrayed and hurt, about how ‘i refuse to believe that the gentleness we were shown was fake’ (as said by yona but i like to think that hak feels this way too) and i just feel like that makes it so much more painful because. you have someone who was your childhood friend who was really nice to you and who you had a lot of fun with. then one day they turn around and suddenly take the life of someone very important to you. you want to hate this person and detest them and lock away any memory of them, but it’s hard because you have fond memories of them, they were a good person to you. so then it’s like how do you feel??? i feel like it leaves them feeling vvv conflicted and torn. and it’s just so. heartbreaking to hear hak express his feelings like this esp because she can Feel his hurt. they’re sitting side by side and it’s dark with Minimal moonlight but she can still see the slight tears ): she can’t hear him crying because he’s talking normally and masking it somehow gjdkfhgjf but she gently puts his head on her shoulder and takes his hand and i die unpopular opinion: hm i sadly don’t see that many akayona opins in general so i don’t know :/// oh hm one of them may be that i don’t really like soo won??? gdjkghf like i’ve seen some people say they like hm... and i honestly don’t know how to feel??? i’m trying to pay more attention to his character during my reread and right now i’m Conflicted because . you know gjdkfghdfjgf but hm he is interesting thoughhow’d you find it: OH boy so i have a friend who i watched anime with during my last year of hs and she recommended that we watch yona!!! it was sososo funny omg the anime is so fun!!!! i really loved it and decided to read the manga and oh Man am i so happy that i did because it shows way way more than the anime does and it’s SO good SO amazing i love

SOAAAR MY LAWD I'M A SNAIL DON'T MIND THAT!!!! and now, a confession--- i,,, actually have not watched a lot of ghibli movies 😳👉👈 which i should rlly change!!! bc the ones that i did watch i enjoyed a lot!!!! but as for your question--

hakuno's a massive history buff (which, on a side note, is one heck of an advantage when you find yourself in a war involving historical figures!) so i hc the human she was based on to have a great interest in history and mythology, more of a reader than a watcher, and someone whose interests lean more into non-fiction than fiction. hakuno, no matter human or npc, is a very open-minded and curious person though so that's not saying ghibli's completely out of the interest! rather, i think ghibli movies in general would be something completely up her alley. they just have this.... comforting sort of vibes to them ya kno? which is something hakuno who is in a constant state of stress would really appreciate!

i was gonna dedicate a para to howl's moving castle bc in this house we love the movie that has miss sophie hatter in it!!!! but wowie i must say-- the answer to your question rlly is the your muse's movie!!! the strong anti-war messages and the importance of compassion is something real prominent in the movie and that'd really reaally resonate with her — those are themes real pivotal to her own character too! just add in something about tenacity and perserverance and you'd have the complete kishinami package! ☆ anywho, i can honestly imagine howl's moving castle not just being her favorite ghibli movie, but also her favorite movie in general! it'd be a comfort movie she rewatches every now and then and she'd definitely pick up the book after watching it too, or the other way around-- she liked the book so much that she watched the movie. human hakuno was a pianist, so i must also say that she would've definitely learned how to play merry go round of life on it, any some other songs from the movie too!

i'm scatterbrained rn so don't mind me rambling but you know that one iconic scene of howl and sophie walking on air? mayhaps she would lowkey want to experience something similar to that too.... but i think if that time ever comes, she'd be the howl of that situation. f for moon girl. that breakfast scene looked so good, it really made her want to eat eggs and bacon-- and considering how unhealthy her diet is (it consists of yakisoba bread and roll cake and candy, pretty much!!), it's a good thing! and this isn't her liking your sophie when i say that sophie would rlly be her favorite character!! they are pretty similar too, so i def think hakuno would be rooting for sophie in pretty much every scene and would really love seeing her character development!! she'd also really want miss hatter to know that she's absolutely beautiful inside and out pls 🙏🙏 second fav would be that dog bc.... fluffy-wuffy. what can i say? she is a simple moon girl. and i must also say: she would think sophie is a #girlboss (and even in her granny form she was a #grannyboss)

"to become human she must be loved for who she. can you accept her as she is?" and it kills me bc being the one to understand and accept others has always been what hakuno does — which rlly gets hammered in me bc sosuke's response "i'll always love ponyo. whether she's a fish, or a human, or in-between" is a very hakuno line!!!! (though she can be quite chatty, so i can imagine her saying a lot more than that too---). i like the idea of this A Lot bc receiving affection and kindness is something hakuno's entirely unused too and while being on the giving end of such things is a very human thing to do, i think we shouldn't exclude how being on the receiving end of it is also very important!!!! story fucking time because i need to tell someone this fuck (note to all who know me, this is not a bad mental health thing, this is a “what the fuck is going on rn what the fuck” thing)

so to start off. beginning of last semester i befriended this really cool guy, we’ll call him Z. i had a huge crush on him for a couple of months, but nothing came of it because he and i never really saw each other and, imo, he was way outta my league. and tbh i was fine with nothing happening bc he’s the kind of person who likes to party and do drugs and like no judgments, but i’d rather curl up with my SO and eat pizza than go out and do shit, and besides, it’s just not my personal lifestyle.

fast forward to December, I start on tinder and have matched with my now ex, heretofore to be referred to as H. i come across Z on tinder, and swipe right on him because i still like him. turns out we matched, BUT i don’t know if he swiped right on me because he likes me or because we know each other. we talk a little bit, we hadnt talked for like 2 months, so we were mainly just catching up. i go on a date with H, who says he wants to take me out again, and i agree. we’re not officially dating or anything, but like, it’s going somewhere. Z then asks me if I want to hang out with him in a couple of nights, and while I still think he’s incredibly attractive, i think something’s going to happen with H, and i genuinely do not know if Z wants to hang out in a something more way or not, so I vaguely cancel it, and then I start dating H.

fast forward to now. I run into Z as he’s about to go smoke some sheesha with a few friends, he invites me along. i am in a really bad state emotionally and literally had just been thinking that i wanted to get shitfaced, and Z is definitely the friend i have that that’s possible to do with. so I say sure, I go and smoke some sheesha with them. he and his friend, who’s not super important here but who we will call B, are going to go buy some alcohol and then hang out and Z’s apartment. they invite me to continue coming along with them. now, although i used to (emphasis on used to) have a crush on Z, and while his lifestyle is vvv different from mine, I do trust him and B, and for me, it’s just me hanging out with a couple of friends, so i say sure. if i’m going to get shitfaced, i’d rather it happen with a couple of good friends than a bunch of strangers or by myself. so we go to the liquor store, we go back to Z’s apartment, and basically everyone’s just having a good time. they both know that i have a boyfriend, btw. so i’m a sleepy drunk, and at like 1am i am so ready to sleep, and while i trust Z and B, i’m not going to sleep over at Z’s apartment, especially not if we’re all inebriated. so i say bye, stumble home, try to sleep, run to the bathroom to vomit, and then actually sleep. (note, i did not get blackout drunk, though. i remember everything that happened, and i did not do anything unfaithful or questionable)

i wake up this morning to a message from Z that he sent at like 3am saying that he was sorry that i had had such a bad week, and that he hoped i had a good time last night, and that he just wanted to say that he thinks i’m “good company, really cool, and very very very cute”. i’m kind of in shock, and being hungover, i don’t really know what to say. because the thing is, i DONT have a crush on him anymore, and I really really adore M, even if we’re in a rough patch rn. so anyway, i leave it on read because idk wtf im going to say, and i figure that he’s probably going to sleep awhile longer anyway. but then he messages me like half an hour later and was like “shit i’m sorry if that was really weird and out of line”, and i was like oh no, it’s fine, thinking that he must have just said that because he was high. and then he goes on to be like “okay, good. i didn’t want to make things weird because of my light crushing on you. okay, a bit more than crushing”.

so at this point im like wtf is going on, i genuinely don’t know how to respond to this. because, 1, no one ever likes me, that’s why i was on tinder and didn’t have my first kiss until i was 18. 2, this is my former crush telling me that he now has a crush on me. like wtf, i can’t even process that. 3, this happens literally right when im having a big issue with my boyfriend, like this timing is just...wow. 4, i am deeply hungover, and am still technically sick actually!

so i end up telling him that it’s really fine as long as he knows that nothing will happen, and he’s like oh yeah of course, and that’s that.

but i am just deeply in shock rn. universe, your timing is really the cruelest thing on the planet. where was this crush in september, when it would have been returned? and the thing is, i’m not going to tell Z that i used to have a crush on him, because that will just make the situation even worse.

but yeah.

that’s where i am at now.

i just really really want to talk to my boyfriend and sort out our problems, because i know that i adore him, and this situation just proved it to me.
