last night (this morning) right before i fell asleep i had thoughts abt bkdk arranged marriage au, where izuku (who is probably a peasant or something, like he’s getting married to make sure he can take care of his mom and keep her safe, smth like that) is engaged to barbarian prince katsuki who is just kinda like ahhh whatever, if this gets the hag to shut up about marriage sure i’ll marry this doofus

so as they’re engaged, izuku begins living in the castle, they sleep in separate rooms because katsuki doesn’t really like him in that way, let alone even rly care for him and katsuki expects him to just be this sweet innocent damsel yk? but one day he catches izuku training in one of the court yards with his head guard (maybe todoroki or kirishima) and his eyes are drawn to him, his form is shit and it’s obvious he doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. he looks like a damn kid with a wooden sword clutched in his hand, but despite all that it catches katsuki’s interest

idk i feel like katsuki would try to convince izuku to be a regular housewife type at first and they would have this big convo where he’s like let me be MORE than that, let me do things, let me be able to protect the things i care about too and katsuki would start actually seeing him as a three dimensional person instead of someone to stand in place of an actual wife/husband
