Fantoccio calls Barnaby "Barney" because of his name, and also blackberry

Fantoccio hides behind Barnaby's wing when he's scared during a scary movie, and Barnaby hides him behind his wing instinctively when protecting him

They listen to each other talk about their special interests ❤❤

They each try to calm the other down when they get overwhelmed or overstimulated

Fantoccio sings Barnaby cheesy love songs

Fantoccio has more of a sensitivity to sound than Barnaby does, so usually, Barnaby comforts Fanto when he's overwhelmed by sound

Barnaby tomatoes anyone that tomatoes Fantoccio at his plays

Barnaby and Fantoccio struggle to slow dance together due to height difference. Bonus: Barnaby shrinks himself to Fantoccio's size

Please note that these are my headcanons for the time being, and since the game isn't out yet, maybe something becomes canon, or not. It's too soon to tell. ^^

He loves sweets and desserts. If you offer them some he'd... still try to kill you, but he'd happily appreciate the gesture!

If you want to take a photo, expect him to appear at the last minute to bomb it, for the fun of it. This only causes the photo to get all ruined, but the only thing he'd be sorry about is him supposedly having his eyes closed ("supposedly", since his ghostly nature causes the photo to get all glitchy).

The moment you are dead and have joined his party, expect Barnaby to fawn all over you and treat you like you're his best friend forever. You'll be treated like the guest of honor and he'll make sure you won't ever leave himthe manor.

Despite being all about death, Barnaby is ironically queasy about bones and blood. He'd rather witness a clean demise.

A huge hugger AND tickle monster. If he gets you when in "cuddle mode", you'd better run and hide, or he'll catch you, and keep you in his fluffy wings for a long while!

On that note, he's very affection starved, even tho' he won't reveal his vulnerable side right away. He's been desiring a hug for so long...

Manners are a huge deal for him. Are you disturbing the party, being too early or having a potty mouth? He'd get rather agitated about it.

Head scratchies! He loves them!

Barnaby is not very good at whispering. Even at his lowest he tends to be a bit on the loud side.

He's lacking on social graces, and can say something rude without meaning to offend. If that happens, he wouldn't notice nor pay any care about it, unless he sees someone getting upset at what he said. Which causes Barnaby to feel sad as well, so he'd try to make it better.

Parties are his main source of comfort. It helps him keeping track of the passing of the days... and forget elements of his past that he'd rather not think about.

He still keeps some of his hobbies from his alive days, like reading and doing scientific experiments.

He's VERY emotional. Wanna watch a movie with him? He'll most likely cry at every sad scene.

He treats the Barnaboos like they were his children, and is always happy to help them with tips and kind words (that may or may not work, but it's the tought that counts). This paternal tendency could be a leftover from his alive days, back when he had a child of his own. I also like to believe he created them through his tears, but it's still up in the air whether that's true or not...

Caregiver!Barnaby Headcanons

(NOTE: first time making one of these posts! might be a bit rough, bear with me.)

Definitely spoils you with sweet treats and candy, let's be real. He probably doesn't even remember tooth decay exist until you complain about it one day.

Even if you don't like sweets, he'll still give you whatever you want. He's got the power of cartoon logic, after all!

He's definitely had the Barnaboo's babysit you or just be your playdate buddies while he's out.

They might be the only reason you're not dead yet, honestly. If anyone can recognize something dangerous or poison, it's the already dead people.

That, or he can't bring himself to hurt you in the slightest since.. y'know. (Motions sadly to the fact he may or may not have been a father when alive)

Hugs are so soft and nice!! He puffs his feathers out on purpose and snuggles you if you ask for it, or might even do it to surprise you (if you're comfortable with surprise touches. If not, he'll wait).

If you stim, he'll gladly do it with you. Especially if you happen to pick up his own, like wing flapping or hooting!

If you somehow find a way to wear that Barnaby onesie that's been floating around in some Ash artwork, he would CRY. In a good way.

Will gladly do some little activities with you, as he's got his own form of childish nature. Like coloring, for example!

Absolutely the type to playfully have a conversation with you, even if you're in a baby talk mode. "Oh-hoo-hoo! Is that so, my little friend? :}"

Nicknames include stuff like "Sweetie", very dramatic "My Baby!"s, "Sweettart", etc.

For the popular Barntoccio shippers: No, he wouldn't trust Fantoccio with you. I don't think Fantoccio would actually enjoy children unless they took an interest in him or theatre. Sorry to tell you.. (but he'll definitely still take you along to see him.. >:3)

anyways, here is how i think the main cast would react:

Billie:

Loud laughing, Will mostly try to escape but instantly gives up. 6/10

Aristotle:

His weak spot is his belly, so he Will just be a mess of giggles and squeaks

COUGH COUGH he likes them tho- COUGH COUGH 9/10 very cute.

Barnaby:

CANNOT HANDLE THEM, HE IS JUST SQUEALING LOUDLY WHILE LAUGHING AND BEGGING YOU TO STOP (plus he flutter his wings wildly) i think he broke the scale with.. an 12/10

Fantoccio:

Doesnt like em' very much, he WILL yell at You to stop, and try to escape a Lot, i think it's a solid.. 5/10

Elaine:

SHE HATES THEM I SWEAR-

Since Cats have sensitive tummies, her laughs are very loud, CAREFUL THOUGH, SHE MIGHT SCRATCH YOU-

Siren Barnaby Headcanons!

Oops.

*He is a siren, NOT a mermaid. Gets annoyed when he gets confused for one.

*His singing voice is hauntingly beautiful and lures anyone to their doom.

*Asexuals and aroaces are not safe from him. He would genuinely get excited about singing about something they desire. Like garlic bread.

*Writers are definitely not safe! He would sing "A Million Gruesome Ways to Die" to lure them in. And add a few deaths that were not included, such as being shocked by eels or being suffocated by an octopus.

*He swims REALLY FAST.

*His pupils are slits, so when he is on land, he wears contacts to hide his siren eyes.

• Billie is very comfortable and soft when you are hugging her

• Fantoccio was created by Arthur, so that makes Fantoccio the brother of Billie....

• When Dimitri is venting, his eyes became from yellow to red and his pupils becoming full black and sharp pupils... Oh his tears are bloody tears when he's venting too......

• Dimitri didn't kill Arthur...

hello op do you have any billie bust up headcanons? if so i would love to hear them 👀✨

Let's see what I've got...

- Billie's favorite genres are 'Action', 'Mystery' and 'Heist Missions'. Their favorite bits are the ones that involve a lot of adrenaline and intrigue.

- Aristotle, during their adventures, has accumulated many trinkets and amulets over their years that they still keep close to them. Their most treasured items are the ones that were first discovered by Arthur. Not all of them are economically valuable, but in Ari's eyes, those are emotionally priceless.

- Elaine does have some cat(TM) moments, like licking her paws or purring when feeling safe. She'd rather die before revealing that to anyone (but her crew is aware anyway, so it's a moot point).

- Dutch claims to love gardening, but he really doesn't know a lot about plants. It's more of a casual interest for him. If anyone were to point what he gets wrong out, he'll deflect such a notion with charm and a bit of intimidation.

- Barnaby has a sweet tooth. He loves sweets, desserts and anything sugary. If he's careless enough he'll eat an entire cake by himself in one afternoon.

- Fantoccio, in his isolation, has took time to learn a lot of languages. He's especially proud of his French, and often uses French words while he talks.

I'm sorry this took so long. ^^'
