Watching The Hunger Games: Mockingjay on tv and eating dinner (#vegan #chickn #sandwich #sweetpotatofries #chipotle sauce YUM) while waiting for the #BadenMasters livestream starts. Excited to see 🐐 @niklasedin & @teamniklasedin in a featured @badenmasters stream w/ commentary by Lorna Rettig tomorrow. I didn’t sleep last night and watched all 6 of the Friday draws and planning to watch all of the 5 Saturday draws too LOL fully embracing degen hours 😂😭 *fangirlproblems* . . I’ll for sure have both streams up - gotta cheer for super spare extraordinaire @daniel.magnusson00 and @team.magnusson too. I was bummed about how their first game went, but they actually did much better in the game vs De Cruz. It’ll be interesting to see if the YouTube captions/subtitles continue to provide good entertainment to the viewers/chatters like the one from yesterday 😂 I just can’t… Also, I need a better, HQ pic of the poor happy ice tech for meme purposes. As Lorna said, nobody likes extra ends except for the team that needs them. Unfortunately for Team Traub, they were facing the reigning World Champs in an EE… I really hope there’s video of the last 2 ends. Super stoked to have seen 🐐 @niklasedin & @teamniklasedin ‘s first day of competition of the 2020-2021 #curling season via livestream on YouTube woohoo. My #Icevengers had 4 games today - day 1 of the 2020 @badenmasters in #Switzerland They came out with a 3-1 record after narrowly losing the first game. There were lots of issues w/ the livestream for the sheets 3&4 feed since coverage started at 11pm last night, but they’re getting it sorted out. I cannot wait til 11pm tonight when my Swedes will be the featured game on sheet 2. The captions have been hilarious & I can’t wait to find out how YT will pick up Swedish. There might be a commentator on sheet 2 which will override the caption, but the captions for the Mukki vs TDC game last night were HILARIOUS 😂 I’ve already bookmarked Team Edin’s 5th RR game: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GLVV_cVCnqY . . 🐐 @niklasedin wore a hat the whole day and it looks like both he & Rasmus need haircuts 💇‍♂️ The Swedes all seemed like they were cold too - they all kept their jackets on. Normally the front end sheds the jacket because of all the sweeping, but no @cr1ppa & @rasmuswrana both kept their jackets on whereas Valentin Tanner of TDC kept messing w/ my fashion watch - taking off the new TDC jacket then putting it back on throughout the day 😂 . . We are 3 days away from @teamniklasedin ‘s first competition of the 2020-2021 #curling season. Looking forward to seeing 🐐 @niklasedin & the #Icevengers back in action at @badenmasters The last time they won the event was in 2017, they were runner-up in 2018 & 2019 (PS: I really like @cr1ppa ‘s hairporn during this tourney). The #BadenMasters website has posted the rules for the event on their website both in terms of game play and pandemic policies. The athletes will all be picked up and given masks they have to wear (public transit rules) & then they’ll all stay at the same hotel (curling bubble). Badges will be required for entry for both athletes & spectators (limit of 100 people total in the building, etc.). I think the sucky thing for the curlers is that they can’t hang out and watch their competition. Guess they’ll have to be glued to the livestream for the games that are livestreamed. Hope my Swedes watched the Schweizer Cup and took lots of notes so they can win Baden Masters again. Swipe to see the rules. . . I guess the silver lining to the Meridian Open GSOC being cancelled way in advance & my money refunded already is that I don’t have to deal w/ going to an event & not being able to interact w/ the curlers. I’ve said in the past that @niklasedin will be the death of me and today was an example of how being a hardcore @teamniklasedin can be hazardous to one’s health. Bummed they lost their game against Team Hess but glad they pulled off the win against Team Ramsfjell after being down 2-5 in 3 ends. Too bad I can’t send @svenskcurling any of my medical bills for stress and any harmful effects I sustain while watching Team Edin 😂 Looking forward to what comes next, not just this weekend but the rest of the season. Excited to see 🐐 @niklasedin & @teamniklasedin back in action this week after the #curling week I just had. Super stoked that there’s #livestream access although I’m not entirely sure the entire event will be free (someone tweeted me saying just the first two games are free - if that’s true, shut up & take my money because I want to watch all of it LOL). With a draw schedule that has 12:30AM, 4:30AM, 8:30AM, and 12:30PM games, the #EuroSuperSeries has degen hours written all over it, though there aren’t 6 draws per day like Baden Masters (though more days total). . . Sad my #Icevengers didn’t get to defend their Baden Masters title this year, but I’m always rooting for them win every game they play and every tournament they enter. It’s safe to say I’m not gonna be getting tired of celebrating the fact that 🐐 @niklasedin & @teamniklasedin won @badenmasters this weekend. Bravo my #Icevengers 👏👏👏 May this be the first of many victories this season. I believe Team Edin are only the 3rd team in the event’s 20 year history to achieve the #3peat I hope they win again next year to achieve a historic 4th title & back to back championships.
