What a truly mind blowing thing you’ve turned The Eras Tour Concert Film into. I’ve been watching videos of you guys in the theaters dancing and prancing and recreating choreography, creating inside jokes, casting spells, getting engaged, and just generally creating the exact type of joyful chaos we’re known for 😇 One of my favorite things you’ve done was when you supported Cruel Summer SO much, I ended up starting The Eras Tour show with it. I fell and hit my head on the ice last summer during ice prep before OC Curling league. My mom told me she wanted me to quit curling. Instead, I doubled down and kept curling. I took a women’s team to both the Donna Purkey Curling Classic and MoPac Arena Nationals Playdowns. Later this month, I’ll be competing for the Philippines at the Pan Continental Curling Championships (PCCC) in Kelowna, Canada (qualifier event for the World Championships). It seems like everything happened so fast - Philippines got recognition from the World Curling Federation as a member nation on September 14th & was invited to the PCCC on September 26th, but many Filipino curlers have been working hard behind the scenes for several years (some as many as 12+) to make this a reality. This last minute international trip is expensive to say the least. We have a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for our travel, training & other expenses. A former World Champion in women’s curling who now works for the Swedish Curling Federation (Sara Carlsson) interviewed me a few weeks ago for an article that was published a few days before my birthday/start of the World Men’s Curling Championships in Canada. It’s now official - I’m Swedish Curlings Biggest Fan. The article is in Swedish, but Google Translate is helpful. I had my friend who knows Swedish read it & he approved. I doubt a lot of people read it, but I’ll forever have bragging rights. I hope it encourages more Swedes to become Swedish Curling fangirls (and fanboys). I’ve crawled through mud on my hands & knees to pave the way so that future fans can have an easier time supporting Swedish curlers.
