SU AU: Gem Survivors' Introductions - Axinite
Link to AU Explanation
BACKGROUND:
-Axinites are Era One gems made between Blue and Yellow Diamond, and eventually, Pink Diamond.
-The Axinite gems are special in a way. They are one gem caste, but there are subtypes based from the minerals that they’re made with: Axinite (Fe), Axinite (Mg), and Axinite (Mn).
-Despite the minor three differences in the Axinites, they have the same main purpose: to survey worlds chosen by the Diamonds to be the newest additions to their colonies. Like land surveyors on Earth, Axinites act much the same way except for an entire planet and to see if it can sustain the endurance of making gems, enough minerals to make the gems properly, to see how inhabited the planet is before colonization, etc.
-When the Axinite is deployed to the planet they have an escort assigned to them that acts as a guard while they do their reports and studies on the planet and its potential for minerals.
-In modern times the Axinites don’t have to travel off planet to check out the planet assigned to them to report because of the upgraded technology that is at their disposal. The only time they go to the planet is when their sub-duties require them to, or if they absolutely have to physically be there to check out the planet with more modern equipment.
OUR AXINITE:
Species: Gem
Gem Type: Axinite
Alignment: Blue and Yellow Diamond/Pink Diamond during colonization/Crystal Gems
Hair color: Dark Brown
Clothing: Homeworld- Standard soldier uniform
During renegade phase- Under consideration
During time with Crystal Gems- Under consideration
Weapon: Kaiser blade
When she fuses with Lepidolite: Galena (Maybe)
Favorable quote: It just bothers me, ya know? I know it’s to “expand our empire”, but don’t you ever wonder what kind of life these inhabitants had before we colonized their planets? I question what the rest of the universe’s existence is like before our… incursions… put an end to it.

❇️Minerals: Axinite-(Fe) on Albite ❇️Miniature Size: H 4 x W 7.5 x D 4.5cm Weight:102g ❇️Locality: Rasko Mountains , Char Kohan, Kharan District, Balochistan Region, Pakistan 🇵🇰 ( founded January 2018) ❇️Description: Axinite is the group name for severally closely related minerals Axinite (Fe), (Mg), and (Mn) as its own without a sub designation which is not recognized as an individual mineral species by IMA, although many mineral collectors still refer to it by its traditional name without further classifying the type of Axinite. This particular specimen exhibits an amazing vitreous cluster of vibrant smokey color beautiful multiple Axinite crystals like a star ⭐️ sits on beautiful white matrix with well-crystallized side crystals. Crystals has amazing transparency and strongly dichroic as it displays different colors from different angles. It forms prismatic tabular crystals showing triclinic crystal structure and creating awesome contrast with green background nice detailed crystals. Indeed a gorgeous piece in such perfection and aesthetics and to get it so compact and aesthetic as this specimen, it’s so hard to find beautiful specimen with great colour , contrast and such aesthetics. Axinite
Axinite is a brown to violet-brown, or reddish-brown bladed group of minerals composed of calcium aluminium boro-silicate, (Ca,Fe,Mn)3Al2BO3Si4O12OH. Axinite is pyroelectric and piezoelectric. The axinite group includes: Axinite-(Fe) or ferroaxinite, Ca2Fe2+Al2BOSi4O15(OH) iron rich, clove-brown, brown, plum-blue, pearl-gray Axinite-(Mg) or magnesioaxinite, Ca2MgAl2BOSi4O15(OH) magnesium rich, pale blue to pale violet; light brown to light pink Axinite-(Mn) or manganaxinite, Ca2Mn2+Al2BOSi4O15(OH) manganese rich, honey-yellow, clove-brown, brown to blue Tinzenite, (CaFe2+Mn2+)3Al2BOSi4O15(OH) iron – manganese intermediate, yellow, brownish yellow-green Axinite is sometimes used as a gemstone.
