Been playing Tears of the Kingdom while hanging out in my great aunts hospital room with her and man. Hyrule Castle has to be considered haunted by everyone in Hyrule now right? Like they have to consider their ruling family completely cursed at this point

regarding totk and spoilers i think the way you've been posting things works just fine. i've simply just got the totk tag blocked and that works perfectly fine for me. i also haven't been watching any of ur clips so i cant really say anything abt em but i think if someone doesn't want to risk something being spoiled than just,, dont watch the clip. not judging the anon that asked abt it ofc. tldr is that i think ur current format is fine.

for sure like, i'm not judging either! believe me I am REALLY sensitive to spoilers lmao, i go out of my way to avoid launch trailers like the plague and it's a very heavily reinforced rule in my stream chat that i do not want anyone telling me Any Single Thing about games i play that i have not already seen. the difference is that in an environment like a stream i literally have no choice but to sit in the same spot and take whatever chat throws at me in one way or another. if someone posts a spoiler, sure it can be deleted but i most likely WILL see it in the process, i literally can't get away from it. but like, on tumblr and social media in general there are so many considerations for tag muting/blocking and unfollowing and just general evasiveness you can employ that make avoiding spoilers, while not guaranteed a success, sooo much easier and as a result a lot more on you as an individual to curate your own timeline. again, i'm sympathetic and i want to be considerate which is why I HAVE been making sure i tag everything i post, but... i also want to have fun being a part of the conversation about the game outside of my content!

bruh i had a dream where Tears of the Kingdom flopped so crazy that Nintendo issued a recall with a televised apology conference

(NO spoilers or leaks here, I am oblivious to everything announced for TotK aside from the first trailer)

In the dream, buyers said the story was worse than The Last of Us 2 (which I have yet to play due to it not being ported to Steam yet, no spoilers please) and the gameplay sucked worse than Death Stranding (which I avoid like the plague). What happened was the game had you play as Link for the first half only for him to die then changing narrative to Zelda whose choices will change the game map and endings. Also Link x Sidon becomes canon only for the former to die in the latter’s arms then Link’s body being graverobbed. Final boss was a frankenstein monster Link that Ganondorf made to fight Zelda while he completed his evil plan. Then the game pulled a Mass Effect 3 and gave three different unsatisfying endings: Power ending where Zelda’s evil choices throughout her story makes her usurp Ganondorf as the new dictator of Hyrule, Courage ending where Zelda’s good choices leads to a vanilla ending where she is the hero who defeats the villain then leaves Hyrule after returning Link’s body to Sidon, and Wisdom ending where Zelda somehow forces frankenstein Link and Ganondorf to transmute into a homunculus which renders them into an eternal flesh prison so that she can live her own life away from a cycle where the three of them reincarnate into yet another Legend of Zelda game. There was a whole conference announcing full refunds and recalling the game from shelves, with the cherry on top being the entire team who worked on the game forced into retirement.
