Team Naley as always.

One for their chemistry but another for how they grow with each other from seasons 1-9 their love story is just beautiful to me. Yes, they had plenty of struggles and issues throughout the 9 year run but they never gave up on each other. Nathan and Haley continued to grow together while fighting with or for one another. Nathan really broke generational curses in how he loved Haley and his family. Haley found her own sense of belonging and place in the world with Nathan/her family + her own career. Haley just wasn’t tutor girl and she certainly was more than Lucas friend or Nathan’s partner.

plus i just love how they got married and didn’t tell anybody 💀. It’s so chaotic but very sweet. Like they got married and had a baby all in the span of 2 seasons chaos but it worked for them. Anyways look at how cute they are okay i could talk about them all the time.

I think for Gia/Elijah, I love Begin Again! I think Gia is one of the only people who prioritises Elijah and that song is perfect for them. Also, Sweet Nothing, and Paper Rings (cause Elijah changes his elitist particular tastes to make her comfortable).

sage ⇢ what ‘medium’ of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? why do you think that is?

I am a very emotional person when it comes to art, i love music more than life sometimes but I still cant choose a favorite song. Maybe the Guardians of the galaxy trilogy? the third movie was an excellent ending and for me i think it was touching because it showed that its okay to grow and even if you have to go off by yourself, family is still there. whether its found or related.

hello hope your day is going amazing ! so i love your posts i am so honored that you decided to follow me 😭. seeing your pro bonnie posts i wanted to ask what ending would have been best for bonnie? (cause the ending she got in tvd was actually crap !)

I’d link my other posts but tumblr is a broken space. But, anyways:

For Bonnie’s perfect ending. I’d include romance (could be any man or woman I multi-ship for a reason!) or a future head-nod to romance with someone. Tvd was about ROMANCE/family & supernatural things. Next, I’d include a call back to Bonnie’s family or future family. As nice as the final scene was with her coven that’s the only time we ever see her stand with them. It’s bullshit. Bonnie should’ve been a coven leader or even considered a Queen-Witch. It would be nice to see Bonnie rebuild that Bennett coven from either witches she meets on her travels (tapping into a found-family trope here) or she meets more Bennett witches. They can’t all be dead! Bonnie eventually being a mom would be cool (not that kids define anyone. But after caring for MFG all 8 seasons…Let Bonnie be a mom. We know Caroline and Elena are parents) Lastly, for Bonnie’s ending I’d place her in a good career. We know Bonnie went to college but we don’t know what her major is. One of my many headcanons is that Bonnie’s into business or hospitality management. Maybe Bonnie becomes a teacher/mentor one day! Own a store. Be a photographer! I think Bonnie would want to be just as connected to people as possible. I don’t think she’d stay in Mystic Falls forever and I don’t see her working at the Salvatore Boarding School longterm if she was to stay there. Maybe a couple months to a year before she leaves. Bonnie’s a little more nomadic than she’s given credit for.

It’s something small but mentioned in season 2 when Lucy is around. Bonnie mentions balance and not knowing where she fits. So the best ending is a life where she can have both her wants and desires (human-wise) but still have room for her witch-lineage to flourish and be able use that magic for what she wants.

brucas or leyton?

Um....Brooke/Peyton? They'd be great together!

I think between s1-3, I shipped Brucas more. Brooke and Lucas had a nice build up that went beyond just the physical, and unlike Peyton, Lucas never puts Brooke on a pedestal. They're cute together, and he says all the right things. Until he fucks up by cheating on her with Peyton. But again, they make up, become friends again, fall in love again. I'll never forget the summer and the hundred something letters Lucas wrote for Brooke.

However, after the shooting, I think Leyton were pretty inevitable. It was obvious, that despite everything that had happened, they were still in love with each other. Despite all of their relationships with other people, they keep gravitating towards each other, and they keep finding comfort in each other. I think post s6, there is no doubt that they're perfect for each other.

But, I'll say this, there was no need for Brooke and Peyton to fight each other like that over Lucas. They were best friends and their whole relationship could've been handled better by the narrative.

Also, I need to rewatch this show.

How do you think Mia and Cami would clash if they would ever meet each other in allure not counting if you decide for them to meet in the originals. Would they have some sort of flashback together or something different and if they did meet what kind of friendship would they have or even more than friendship?

I don’t think they would ever clash everyone who knows me knows that I adore Cami, and so would Mia. I think their dynamic would be a bit similar to Jenna and Mia’s,

(I can write a full essay on how Cami was not a Caroline copy but actually based slightly off Jenna and how Jo is just a brunette Cami)

if they were to meet in allure I’m pretty sure Cami would be in college during this time, so I can see them meeting at a party that neither of them really want to be at and leaving together .

it’s impossible for Mia not to get along with anyone unless they’re just purposely unpleasant which Cami is definitely not

I feel like the psych major side of Cami would be so intrigued by Mia and would help her overcome a lot of the issues that she’s currently facing (which is why they can’t meet now bc I know Cami would be able to make Mia see how truly fcked up Mystic falls is and also her relationship with Klaus)

Mia would also be able to see that dark side in cami, the side she’s been repressing and help her embrace it (as a vamp)

I think they are exactly what each other needs and would actually have an amazing friendship or relationship

sadly this isn’t a world with happily ever afters
