Book: Hot Winter Sun Author: by Jessica Russell Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hot Winter Sun is a captivating and beautiful story that has a lot of romance, mystery, passion, humor, and drama. This novel does not only focuses on the leading characters but the side characters as well and they all got a decent amount of spotlight that I thoroughly enjoyed and desired even more. The tone of the story fed my greed in the discovery of all the incidents that surrounds female lead Catherine and the shock of the revelation left me with my mouth wide open because I would've never foreseen who was guilty and trust me I had conjured quite a few suspects lol. Book: Swipe Right for Medusa Author: by @claritytownsend Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My thoughts: Most of us, well those obsessed with Greek mythology are aware of the truth behind the story of the infamous Medusa. Her violation led to her unfortunate fate of misery and the fear people felt by just the very mention of her name. Well, Swipe Right for Medusa was a refreshing tale of the woman many scorned, feared, and hated. Clarity does an excellent job of maintaining a good balance of victim versus survivor. Can you imagine Medusa in a moderate world much less using a dating app? Well, it's something for sure! How about having an equally notorious best friend lol Galena is like no other. The realism of the story was another added bonus, for at times we find ourselves with our backs against the wall and no way out which leads us to poor decision making and miscalculation of the options available. But all well ends well or something like that. Come join in on the journey of a woman who survived her worst day, into someone who not only became a shield for others, but got an ending she more than earned. And though this is mild compared to the rest of Clarity's work, best believe her signature of driving readers crazy is still there. And guess what, this is only the draft version too so I can bet the official version is gonna be sick! Swipe Right for Medusa is only available on Wattpad.
