Humans were not created by the gods, and were purely the result of natural selection. Instead, the gods saw the humans as they evolved, and influenced the evolution of certain populations to create their very own race of humanoids.

Warhammer 40k & D&D AU
Everyone's favorite Choir boy! Logar Aurelian Initial post
This boy also needed a lot of therapy after being dragged into this place and was strangely skittish around Corvus
His brothers were worried when it was shown that the gods do have a lot of influence in mortals lives but it was also Logar who was able to convince them that it didn't have to be a bad thing
Was the one who talked to every single cleric they ran into helping everyone understand what was going on. He basically had a compendum of the major gods and relations between different gods and followers
Logar really didn't care about how other people labled the gods as good or evil he catologued them trying to find what he would follow
And believe me the gods of the plane did try to court them; local spirits, devils, demons, celestials, etc. Could feel their presence and wanted them to be an ally rather than a foe
Logar was finally approached by a Neutral deity; a powerful one but with few followers (most likely a homebrew deity as none of the canon ones fit what will happen/fit the narrative)
He became a powerful follower and naturally a cleric and this is really where the brothers could see the raw power this realm could give. (Or in mortarian's case it was a magical hellscape)
Logar was one of the brothers who could help get them work though often it was guarding caravans and in one of these guarding gigs he met his first follower and eventual wife. (Might be cliche and have her named Mary)
It actually took him a very very long time to realize she was attracted to him to the point the deity in question had told him that she was praying to him to get him to notice her. Its not Logar was fully blind to her advances just he tends to throw himself fully into something with zeal and passion
Part of the agreement with the deity was to allow its "offspring" to bind with his offspring (thus they have more like a warlock pact ((this is important)))
He has 3 children so far: His eldest Argel Tal Aurlian (and this is one of the souls magnus picked up) ((Yes another soul is Cyrene because damn it I liked that ship)) And his twins Adam Aurlian and Eve Aurlian (This is the one we will follow)

The good, the bad, and the true for Aurlian
Bad has been answered!
GOOD END- The ideal end to my muse’s story where everything is resolved and they can live a good life.
How do you satisfy a man who desires everything the world can offer? It was a question Aurelian had pondered all his life, for he was indeed the man in search of such an answer. He desired all the pleasures of life; the wine, the women and the power.
At long last however he had all three, and it tasted oh so delicious. He had all the comforts a man could ask for, and he was still in the prime of his life no less. He had all the wine and food he could ever desire, and more riches than any man ever really needed. Yet greater than this he had a legacy. His name was to be remembered as the greatest of the Indaris.
The Gilded Lands had been truly united. Whilst they always served Quel’thalas, they were less inclined to serve House Indaris. They had always been a pride filled bunch, yet now they had all sworn fealty to Aurelian and to that of his descendants. On the latter, he had already ensured such existed.
He had been blessed with his wife three healthy children, who would continue his legacy. He would teach them courage, honor and loyalty. He would teach them to enjoy the comforts of life, and to take what was theirs. He would also, much to his wife’s chagrin, spoil them rotten for he loved all three greatly. They were, after all, spawned from him, so what was there not to love?
The greed of Indaris had at long last been satisfied.
TRUE END- Bittersweet ending. Some things go right, other things go wrong. Some sacrifices have to be made, but most people are happy in the end.
Greed had long infested the hearts of the Indaris bloodline. Some believed it was a curse placed upon the noble house, whilst others stated it was simply a maintenance of a decadent culture now long lost, upheld by the dying remnants. It was a greed that Aurelian did not believe could ever be sated, as he sat upon his marble throne.
He was not alone, as much as he may have wished otherwise. His brother Caledon yet ruled with him, and a third Indaris was slated to join in a triumvirate. Whilst he did not wish to share such power, there was some merit. He had read the Draenei people long ago held such leadership amidst their people, before the Dark Titan corrupted and enslaved them. He hoped at least that such would not occur; he had already lost comrades, allies and friends in the many years due to power struggles; he did not wish to lose anyone else.
Yet he wanted more, as he always did. There was more power to claim as his own, and why should he not? He was still the true heir of Indaris, even if his compatriots disagreed. Their triumvirate was for peace in their house in order to bring the entirety of the Gilded Lands to their banner. He believed such could occur, but afterwards? Why, the whole world was his possibility; he just simply needed to seize it.
Alone.

Humans were by far the most common race in Aurlia and Glaclia. Humans were known in Marlia and Karstarlia mostly through interactions with traders, and they made up a sizable proportion of Karstarlian slaves. Almost no humans lived in Etherlia, but this is hardly surprising.
Since humans were everywhere, the culture and politics of Man had spread across the globe. Likewise, hints of many cultures could be found everywhere, as traveling humans brought with them the culture of the races they lived with.

Artwork depicting my original concept for the Aurlian race known as Ambians.
A little behind the scenes: I originally created this race back in my freshman year of high school. I made a very short RPG with three rooms and one fight in GameMaker Studio for my computer science final. This artwork depicted the player character in this game. If I can find the original spritework I made for this project I will post them here.

The Ambians were a race of blue-skinned, four-armed, insect-like humanoids who live in the forests of Aurlia. They tended to live in very small, highly structured communities with strict gender roles. They tended to stay isolated, and were suspicious of outsiders.

The Death of Magic was a time defined by many cataclysmic events. The natural events that occurred throughout the Death of Magic helped reshape the Earth into the seven continents known in the third era. Though, the biggest and most dangerous event was the uprising of Men. The many defining natural disasters and political conflicts back-to-back scared mankind, and there was a rising sentiment among Men suggesting that everyone would be better off if they were the only people on the planet.
Fear campaigns began: "Magic is evil! If it's not human, it wants us dead!" Landmarks that have lasted since the beginning of the first era were destroyed. Natural habitats were destroyed to provide Man with adequate resources, and to ensure they successfully destroyed non-human races. Machines were created to waste magical energy. They destroyed magical lands and objects, and even killed other humans who happened to be magical.
Some non-human races used their magic to escape the planet, and in their new homes they would have a growing resentment to mankind. These people would eventually come into contact with the humans at the end of the third era. The legendary hero Tethryn would be among those who left. Though, those peoples too stupid or stubborn enough to remain on Earth were eventually slaughtered by mankind.
Yet, despite their best efforts, magic was not completely wiped from the face of the Earth. Though rare, some magical relics have survived through the third era, and mythical creatures still roamed the planet. Even the legendary hero Phobis lived among the humans throughout the third era.
The Death of Magic was a testament to the true nature of Men. When humans put aside their differences and come together to work on one goal, they can truly do the impossible and change the world. Though, in their lack of judgement, mankind often fails to see the moral path forward.

Elves were heavily prejudiced against in the early first era, originating from the Forgotten Queen’s hatred of elves. In her new kingdom, elves were among the lowest classes. By the second era, elves were generally seen as equal or better to other races, though one wouldn’t be surprised to see small human communities that still displayed this same hatred elves.

In the ancient times, when the God Ailerus freely roamed Aurlia, the Earth was ruled by the Avians. But when Ailerus seemed to disappeared, the Humanoids overtook the Avians and began to form their own localized cultures and governments across Aurlia
The fear and hatred people felt towards the Avians and the widespread use of Avian symbolism across Aurlian civilizations were a memory of this long-forgotten time.

Early Aurlians discovered two very important things about the battlefield:
It is important to be able to tell who is who.
It is difficult to discern who is who when everyone is covered head-to-toe in armor.
As such, a system of heraldry was developed.
There were never any hard rules, but instead general guidelines held up by tradition and recognition. These guidelines were not always consistently followed, and would change throughout history. This tradition of heraldry was started by Man, but was eventually adapted by most races.
Any individual may have had their own coat of arms, which also would have included their family’s crest. Any specific coat of arms was unique to one individual, and was the main way to identify them when not otherwise obvious. Additionally, one's coat of arms may have also shown their alliances or have symbolism related to themselves or their family.
A trim would often be added to show one's rank in society:
Lords and similar nobles had a silver trim.
Members of the King's cabinet had a copper trim.
Kings and their families had a gold trim.
Knights and those of lower social classes would not have a trim.
Trims of other colors were used under special circumstances, or were granted as a special honor. An example of this would be the black trims granted to those of the Abyssal Guard.
It should be noted that flags in the ancient world served a different purpose to heraldry, and so vexillology typically followed different rules to these. Though, it was common for the nation’s flag to be represented in people’s coats of arms.

The tundra of northern Glaclia was much more tribal than Aurlia. While there were some of what Aurlians would consider nobles in the Glaclian tundra, being a noble in Glaclia did not carry with it nearly the same influence as in Aurlia. The role of Glaclian nobility was mostly symbolic, and served as representatives when needed for foreign policy. Some Glaclian highborn did live in palaces and castles, which would stand across the eras. These palaces were found in larger cities and would often house people during the long, dark winters.
The primary concern of all who lived in the Glaclian tundra was survival, and this was reflected in how the Glaclian nobility fit in the culture.
