but anyway….. the answer is yes but also no. I think he does but there are conditions.

i know you didn’t ask about atsumu but i’m going to start with him for comparison purposes. atsumu is a nickname/pet name guy. clearly. i mean look at him. but beyond the “omi” nickname and it’s derivatives, i think he uses a lot of pet names for omi like babe, sweetheart (i have STRONG opinions on this one and it’s backstory but i won’t get into that here), darling, hun/honey, etc. i think he uses them regularly and at any time. but i think he also gets Silly With It a lot and comes up with weird pet names for kiyoomi just to get a reaction out of him.

kiyoomi on the other hand is a little different. I think he will use pet names like baby, my dear (used kind of sarcastically but kind of not), love (rarely), etc. i think kiyoomi probably finds a pet name for atsumu he really likes and he uses it regularly, BUT. he uses them only when they’re alone. the idea of calling atsumu “baby” in front of another living soul is so mortifying to him, he needs to take deep breaths to calm down just at the thought of it. in public it is “atsumu” or “miya” (literally no matter how long they’ve been together kiyoomi will still call him miya sometimes. atsumu doesn’t like it).

even though atsumu is viewed as loud and obnoxious i genuinely believe he would be a very private person, he’s one of those celebs that have 0 posts and highlights on their page, along with no pfp yet he’s still verified with millions of followers. when he actually does post it would be candid story posts of his wife or a picture of his teeny tiny baby sitting in a carseat 😭 (idk if this makes sense but yeah)

I've just watched haikyuu s4 after like 5 years that I stopped watching anime, so finally I met atsumu, everyone seems to love him (and roast him), and, I mean, same. Even though oikawa will always be my fav! (But I don't have the heart to roast him).

So, imagine a enemy to lovers where there's this new girl that goes to inarizaki and she's lost and happens to ask atsumu indications and he thinks she's one of his fans, so he treat her rudely, and she's like "who are you? Should I know you? :) " and just goes away and ignores him. And everytime they happen to see each other she seems indifferent (even though on the inside she thinks he's an asshole, but she's too proud to show it) and atsumu is very bothered about it.

And, like, something happens and they're forced to talk and they become friends and then fall in love (the simplest things that comes to my mind is that she's forced to become the volleyball team manager)

he is a fucking aries no one can convince me otherwise. aries are usually very honest and blunt and i mean,,,, come on,,,, that’s sakusas whole thing. and the difficulty in expressing emotions ? hello? i think he’s also stubborn, hard headed, and impatient. but he’s also passionate about the things he loves and he goes for what he wants. (i would also say nishinoya is an aries but just bc he seems feral in the way only an aries can be)

leo - miya atsumu

this one is hard bc i don’t see osamu as a leo in the same way atsumu is. but atsumu is definitely a leo. the confidence, the vanity, loves being the center of attention. the drama of it all,,,,,, everything about atsumu just screams leo to me
