Hiya, Anonstar, thank ya so much for your compliment! Means a whole world to us!!! Ahhh, so we have Antineon Hieraeon since January 22, 2022! Although we didn't really have a strong clear idea of where we wanted the series and universe to be like until October 20, we revamped the series and created the first four characters of Antineon Hieraeon: Micah Xenowake, Adoniram Bloodburn, Sweetsilence, and Steelstorm. Warlock Moonglade, Bluebreak, Angelparadox, and Devileye a week later. Antigods and the Metaeide and Saints were the first three lore pieces we thought of.

I think about this text, like, a lot. I can't believe it's been almost a year now since we wrote this and soon, we'll be reaching to the second anniversary of this series. We did try to bring our series ( the " beta version " as we were still fixing and finalizing our lores and characters ) with the Starwake System in late October to early November before we went on hiatus and returned to the rpc in early April 2023 with a more fleshed out storyline and universe. It's been an amazing journey and we're most grateful for those who're still here with us and the Starwake System and ANHA. ♡

Mundane Astrology: The Pluto return of the United States of America’s Silby Astrological Chart.

I'm aware of the political drama currently unfolding in the USA regarding the January 6, 2021 events on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, but these days I don't have time to think about Mundane Astrology. Years ago, however, I did think about the USA's Pluto return because it was directly relevant to several themes in 'AveryCanadianFilm’. Please note, I'm a Canadian Citizen and I don't live in the United States of America. That said, I've posted several relevant charts. There are many things one could say given the charts I look at, but I’ll just mention things related to the USA’s natal Pluto_R at 27 deg Capricorn 33 min and it’s natal Mercury_R 24 deg Cancer 12 min. These political events are happening during the USA’s Pluto return and yes Pluto is often related to politics and political change.

It's surreal to be here after taking a long hiatus around 2021. I'm used to having "missing e", a dozen extensions, and all of my pretty post formatting. It seems tumblr has tidied things up to make formatting easier. Back then, I used to copy/paste blank spaces, pretty symbols and emojis, indent all of my paragraphs, and then use a bunch of key commands to select and make my font size small and neat! Haha! I don't have any problems with people who do that, it was a style choice for writers and roleplayers.

I was part of the tumblr roleplay community and many other rp communities across the internet, including Gaiaonline, jcink, and proboards. I was doing this hobby for about 16 years before I started to take my faith seriously in 2021. To clarify faith, I was never really a believer or follower of Christ until I was BORN AGAIN in January 2023! Hallelujah! Note: I am not saying Christians cannot role play or enjoy writing as a way to develop characters, stories, etc. As long as it's not used to write content that would make you sin and it's not becoming an obsession.

Before that, I hyperfixated on horror genre, supernatural and horror anime, tv series, including video games, movies, stories, and more. I had gender dysphoria, went by 'khan', or 'khanivore'. I internalized a lot of it and would act out by doing drag king stuff and drag cosplay IRL.

I idolized playing hypermasculine male characters in the roleplay communities I was a part of. I saw many friendships made, torn apart, and savagely destroyed due to the toxicity of the community. Without Christ, people unhealthily hyperfixate on their idols and become jealous of other people writing better, portraying a certain character better, seeking all types of 'shipping' relationships that don't go well.

Wrote hundreds of thousands of words portraying s*xual fantasies with males & females. I obsessed over becoming male characters; thinking their thoughts, living their lives, not my own. I became oppressed by demons while playing songs that made me think of these characters, obsessively studied their dialogues and did some crazy forms of method acting. These characters had their own birthdays & astrology signs that I celebrated.

I had deep loneliness & despair, a void within me, & I filled it with video games, p**nography, alcohol, cosplay & role playing. When the convention was over, I felt like my heart was being burned alive & there was nothing to fill that void. I had insomnia from late nights living my double life. I was hateful, rude, condescending, competitive, swore all the time, & angry.

But JESUS set me free! He had been knocking on the door of my heart. I did not seek Him, I wanted to live in my filth, I loved my sin. But HE sought after me & my heart slowly softened. My eyes began to open. I don’t share this testimony to glorify myself; don’t want the wrong attention, nor things my old self would have gloated over. I share this testimony of where I WAS, to show where JESUS SET ME FREE!

Seek Jesus - He isn’t religion, He’s a real person, the son of God, who was sent to die for our sins. Someone who wants a relationship with you. He wants to set you free from pain. He can give you answers & true identity; not the CULTure.

Welcome to the Shadow of the Eclipse

October 4-31, 2023

Some introductory notes

The “shadow of the eclipse” is a time period lasting from 10 days before the first eclipse, to three days after the final eclipse. It is recommended not to start anything new, or schedule anything important, during these days - as usual I refer everyone to the 1981 wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to the Prince of Wales, as an example.

Of course we live in a place/time which scoffs at letting astrology help with the timing of events - therefore don’t lose hope if something falls unavoidably within the eclipse shadow. Just be prepared.

I wanted to take a more thorough approach to delineation, this time. I hope it’s helpful.

South Node Solar Eclipse

A solar eclipse happens when the New Moon lies close (in the Zodiac) to either the North Lunar Node, or to the South one. It occurred to me to do a little research on whether which Node is involved, makes any difference - and yes, it does.

Astrologers call the South Node “the dragon’s tail” - Steven Forrest calls the South Node, “the dragon’s butt” - because here we are “pooping out” what we don’t need and can’t use. (One person’s poop, however, is another person’s fertilizer.)

Eclipses conjunct the South Lunar Node, like the October 14 one, have an outflowing (outpooping?) of energy. They tend to feature external events which we have to “rise up to.”

Going down that list was a very uncomfortable trip down memory lane for me. When those South Node eclipses affected me, it was generally a harbinger of some difficult “external event” which I had little to no control over - which is not the same thing as saying “it wasn’t my fault.” I brought some of it on myself due to bad decisions. Some karma chickens coming home to roost, in other words. Not all of them were dire, though. One in particular gave me something of a respite from what had been happening in my life - it was conjunct my natal 12th House cusp.

Saros Series “7 South”

This eclipse is part of Saros Series “7 South.” Bernadette Brady writes,

The individual experiencing this series will find that huge obstacles will suddenly and easily clear or, on the negative side, a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest and move through his or her life very rapidly. Either way the individual will feel that everything is moving at great speed. (The Eagle and the Lark)

Whatever Shall We Do?

1) Determine which of your natal houses this eclipse falls in.

2) Determine whether the eclipse makes an aspect to anything in your chart. Use a 1° orb. In my case, the conjunctions, squares, sesquiquads (135°), inconjuncts, and oppositions made the most obvious impacts.

3) If there is a close aspect to a planet, check to see which house(s) that planet rules. One South Node eclipse was conjunct the ruler of my natal 4th House, and I moved three months later.

4) Avoid strenuously negative thoughts. If you put a lot of energy into anticipating that something is going to be horrible and painful and disastrous, well, guess what - that’s exactly what’s going to happen. If you catch yourself falling into a panic, try to refocus the energy into “the best possible outcome.”

I just woke up and this morning, just before I woke up, I dreamed about my old crush who I had tried so hard to forget for a very long period. I can guarantee myself that I have moved on completely from him a long time ago and I was not even thinking about him in these months. However, in the dream, he was holding my hand so tight in front of my mom and he was telling me consistently that he has to go to somewhere for a short period of time and he will come back for sure and he was telling me not to worry about our relationship or our connection. And I woke up after that.

In real life, we haven't talked to each other since January 2022 so it's been like 8 months now but this is the first time I dream about him after I tried to move on from him. The touch in the dream felt so REAL that I even felt goosebumps and like an electric connection. I could feel his tough and sweaty hands and I still can feel them right now. It was so fucking real. I felt safe and warm but that was not like him from real life. The real life version of him is a heartless and detached guy who did not reciprocate my feelings and who ignored most of my messages. I wrote this because I'm feeling really exhausted right now. I don't even know if I should cry out but I swear I wasn't thinking about him in these months because I was so absorbed in my recent relationship and in fixing my emotions after that. The thing that I can't forget is his touch. 😭

From astrology aspect, we share really intense aspects. His mercury and mars were in my 12th house. His north node conjuncts my ascendant so his south node conjuncts my descendant. My lilith conjuncts his venus and his lilith opposes my venus. His mercury conjuncts my mercury and my venus. His mars conjuncts my venus. My mars trines his venus. My saturn conjuncts his sun and opposes his moon. His sun and mars conjunct my ascendant. His moon conjuncts my descendant. His venus opposes my chiron. If his birth time were accurate then it's even MORE INTENSE. If that was the case, my sun conjuncts his MC, my moon conjuncts his ascendant in his 12th house, my pluto conjuncts his IC and my mars conjuncts his descendant. His vertex conjuncts my MC and my north node. His vertex squares my venus. I swear to god I still can't forget him help me now Idk what to do. 🤦🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️

I think he was karmic for me but two tarot readers told me he was my soul mate for sure. But soulmates don't hurt each other right? I also encountered lots of synchronicities and dreams about him when we were in contact. Plus, another thing odd is he was born during mercury retrograde and we met just about three days before mercury retrograde in 2021. And this is mercury retrograde time right now too. Maybe that's because of it? Like is he a mercury retrograde visitor lmao? 😭😂

Whatever, I'm going to write details in a few days about the synastry with him because he was very special for me. Actually, because of him, I found out that I had a passion for astrology and I also found out about manifestation and spirituality things. So, you can say that he is a catalyst in some ways lol. Oh and I also manifested him to fall in love with me (Don't judge me I know it was wrong but I loved him so much. He was a very special one for me). I tried for months but it didn't work. I mean it worked partially because he still hasn't removed my number from his contact (I can see it in telegram). And he also asked me out as a coffee date but I rejected because I was really young at that time and I wasn't allowed to go out alone. But right now, it's a bit more suitable for me but he's in a different state now. I don't know if fate will bring us together again but I'm hoping for the best though. Whatever, have a good day!! Earth Sign Retrograde Season Power of 2022

In order to better understand this year's transits, mixed with the retrograde cycles I'm writing about here, read my other posts about 2022 Astrological Dynamics, which you can find here and here. These transits all tie in together and will give you a complete background on what you can expect in the coming months and what you should be taking out of current experiences to enrich your life.

The interesting thing about this year's retrogrades is that almost all of them involve Earth signs in some form. Which means that we will be experiencing both an individual and a collective overhaul of all Earth Sign areas, which have to do with grounding, routine, stability, practicality but also connection to nature, planning, rhythms of life, the material side of things. What is especially powerful about this retrograde season is that literally all Earth Signs get addressed in some form through a retrograde, which means this transit is going to have an influence on all the houses placed in Earth Signs in your chart. Bonus points for you if you have Natal Planets in Earth Signs, this year will help you re-organise your life on a very deep level.

The effects of these retrogrades started to be felt already in December 2021 with Venus retrograde, and will be lingering until January 2023 when Mars in Taurus goes out of retrograde, ending this particular cycle of energy restructuring. Rising Sign and Transit Date breakdown below.

Depending on the element of your Rising Sign, different houses in your chart will be impacted by this transit.

For Air Risings (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) the retrogrades are happening in Moksha Houses 4, 8 and 12. Changing your practical habits will help you develop your spirituality, regain emotional peace and clarity, tap into your gifts, reconnect to your authentic emotional space, realign with your correct path in life. This is the energy of changing your practical routine to improve your emotional well being, for example through spiritual practice, yoga, breathwork etc. I would say this retrograde will benefit Air Risings the most, as any subconscious reprogramming and shadow work you do now will pay off big time when the retrogrades are over. There is very little to lose and everything to gain for these risings from any changes that you make during that time, due to the ephemeral nature of Moksha houses. Any emotional ups and downs that you experience will be worth it, as they will bring you to a place where you are more conscious of what actions serve your emotional well-being in the first place.

For Earth Risings (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) the retrogrades are happening in Dharma Houses 1, 5 and 9. This may be a heavy time for you, as Dharma Houses are action oriented and have very much an immediate influence on your physical life. You may be the ones with the most obstacles related to progressing in your life, feeling like you struggle to get on track. That is meant to serve you as a tool to re-evaluate the kind of actions that you have been taking. This is a very important time for you, when you should seriously reconsider the effect of your own impulsive actions on what you are building in your life as a result of these on the spot-decisions. If you have been going on auto-pilot, you will be forced to switch gears now, as old methods of powering through will not be working anymore. That is meant to align you with actions that are more in tune with your life path. If you are being pro-active, don't be impulsive about it and don't rush or force things.

For Fire Risings (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) the retrogrades are happening in Artha Houses 2, 6 and 10. This is the time to calmly reflect on your goals and routines. Don't get bogged down if you run into a lot of practical problems right now, it is part of the deal with retrogrades, but the point of them is to get it solved. Perhaps you discover something bigger that you need to tend to, hiding behind a small problem, that will substantially improve your life long term. Don't get upset about these situations coming up and see them as opportunities to ground yourself even more in life. These problems will eventually end, and you will get the satisfaction of a clean slate. Patience is strongly advised for you now.

For Water Risings (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) the retrogrades are happening in Kama Houses 3, 7 and 11. You will be re-discovering now how your relationships affect your stability. Are the people you are investing in worth being in your life? Are they a source of support and security, pointing you towards the right avenues in life, encouraging the right changes and being honest about what would work for you? Or do you stick to easy, superficial, pleasurable social interactions? Your mental and social involvements, the time you spend investing into the intellectual structures you build is under scrutiny, as people who detract you from your path may fall away, while new connections or those from the past may reappear. Take your time thinking through any situations that appear on your path, don't rush into any social commitments, think about who will really contribute to your life positively long-term.

Planets Involved in this Retrograde Season:

Venus Retrograde in Capricorn December 2021 - January 2022 was a time of taking a first glance at the stability of your values. Might have given you a fulfilment of some past social wishes, a financial re-arrangement that is ultimately putting you on the right path, although it might have been temporarily unstable when Venus retrogressed back into Sagittarius. By now, you should see the results of what that time has brought you from a social standpoint.

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn January - February 2022 was about implementing solid, practical changes in the area Capricorn rules in your chart due to Saturn's presence. There was a finality to this retrograde, as it closed many doors on the bad behaviours we were attached to in the past, as continuing any of those past this point would prove to be very painful.

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus May - June 2022 is the first stage of removing our inflexibility and inhibitions, that will be completed with Mars Retrograde later. At this stage, we are conceptualising of what we should change in order to improve our emotional well being, and although we may not act on everything we want to do straight away, we get a better understanding of it.

Saturn Retrograde in Capricorn June 2022 - October 2022 I elaborated on this transit in great detail in the two other transit posts I mentioned above. This is the final stage of building extremely solid, practical structures in your life. Don't overlook the matters of this house during this retrograde, as it is your last chance at fixing anything that you don't like in your life pertaining to these matters.

Mercury Retrograde in Virgo September - October 2022 is an extremely powerful time, as Mercury is exalted in Virgo and the retrograde makes it even stronger. There will be a very intense illumination of the thought process, and you may come to a deep understanding of things that have been mentally puzzling for a long time, due to increased mental clarity. Spontaneous insight may come out of nowhere and change how you operate seemingly overnight, but in fact it was a long time coming.

Mars Retrograde in Taurus October 2022 - January 2023 will remove the last of our resistance and stubbornness in dealing with moving forward. Taurus is known for its firmness, but under this retrograde with an additional influence of Mars, it will be forced to relent. There is a very strong spiritual realism energy to this transit, as it will show us where we are justified in staying in our position and where we should concede for our own good.

Contrary to popular belief, retrogrades are heavy in organised energy, especially the ones we are experiencing right now in Earth Signs. So any hiccups you encounter during this time are simply meant to make sure you end up in the right place. This is not the time to rush with physical action, but if you make deliberate, conscious practical changes, taking initiative will be supported, especially concerning the fulfilment of desires you had on your mind for quite some time and never managed to ground into physical reality. You may accomplish many things during this time, that you felt have been denied to you in the past due to material constraints. Anything substantial that is meant to be yours right now will fall into your life over this time, and it is up to you to try again and again and disperse any lingering confusion, until you make sure you can use these resources well. Transiting Mars enters Taurus

Tuesday, July 5 - Saturday, August 20, 2022

I try not to listen to any of my YouTubers speaking about the week ahead, so I know that what I write here is entirely my own - today, though, I listened to Cam White, while I was waiting for my hair to dry.

His take was pretty doomy and gloomy - reminding everyone that the last time Mars ingressed into Taurus was January 6, 2021, when those MAGA morons attacked the US Capitol building. (His disdain for those creatures was very enjoyable to hear.)

Anyway: Mars, traditionally, isn’t very happy in Taurus. The red planet is in its detriment here, meaning that it occupys a sign (Taurus) which opposes a sign it rules (Scorpio). The astrologers March and McEvers likened a planet in detriment to staying in somebody else’s house and having to follow somebody else’s rules - instead of feeling comfortable in your own home, and doing whatever you want. (Which isn’t always a good thing, is it.)

Sometimes, though, when we can’t avoid having to obey somebody else’s rules - we can actually learn something. In this case - well - nobody ever talks or writes about being “strong as a Ram” or “strong as a Scorpion,” do they? The cliche is, “strong as a BULL,” right?!

What book are you currently reading?

Currently A Thousand Splendid Suns, and rereading The World We Make. Also just a staggering amount of fanfic.

What’s your favourite movie you saw in a cinema this year?

I think I have been to a cinema exactly once since like 2021, and that was for the Season 2 release of Legend of Vox Machina. Not strictly a movie, but absolutely a delight and definitely my favorite thing.

What do you usually wear?

At home, a bathrobe or pajamas. At work, sweater dresses, aka stealth pajamas. I like to be Soft.

I am SO short. I am the shortest. I am shorter than most middle schoolers. Once I was a camp counselor and I was shorter than 100% of my campers, including the 12 year olds.

I didn’t want to have to say this, but: anyone who thinks that the Boathouse Scene was a “Girlboss moment” has completely missed the point of Katya’s character arc and, frankly, the movie as a whole.

Katya’s arc is about the ways that her life is defined by the men around her. Goncharov, Andrey, Valery - they all have their own ideas of how she should act, who she should be. She doesn’t want to be a housewife, but in the strictly gendered society she lives in, she isn’t allowed to seek fulfilment beyond that.

The subtext of the conversation in the market is pretty blatant - Katya wants to be allowed to discover who she really is away from the obligations of her family, lovers, and husband. Sofia giving her the apple represents the offer of that freedom. Some people have interpreted this as a temptation - the serpent with Eve, and all the pseudosexual tension that implies - but I view it as an intentional subversion of that image, given the way Sofia is haloed in light throughout the scene. (The homoeroticism is real, though!)

I can see where some people get confused by the ending, because Katya does successfully escape her domestic life - but she doesn’t achieve that through the spiritual offer of self-knowledge Sofia represents! Her love for Goncharov and Andrey won’t allow that. Instead she betrays Sofia and winds up in the boathouse, holding the gun; the men around her have finally dragged her into their life of violence. She might survive the end of the movie, but she has lost everything she cared about, and instead of pursuing the independence she initially wanted, it’s implied (I heard confirmed in a cast interview? if anyone has a source for that let me know!) that she returns to Russia to pursue further vengeance.

Katya’s story arc is not about her being a Girlboss - she isn’t beating the men at their own game, or if she is it’s not a game worth playing. Katya is a tragedy, and a warning about the way the violence of men damages the women around them. Killing is never something to aspire to - it is only, as Valery says, “a clock ticking down to midnight.”

Here is my Hot Tridentarii take: Babs is not Ianthe’s cavalier. Coronabeth is, and always has been, Ianthe’s cavalier. The reason Ianthe ate Babs had nothing to do with who he was, and everything to do with him not being Corona.

Ianthe and Coronabeth represent a model of the Lyctor/cav relationship to parallel Harrow & Gideon, just like Pal & Cam do. But where Pal & Cam loved each other so much they became one person, Ianthe’s choice was that she loved Coronabeth so much that she could not stand to consume her, and as a result pushed her away.

...which is exactly what Harrow did to Gideon with her home-grown lobotomy in HtN. I gave you my whole life and you didn’t even want it.
