Here's another shot of Venus and Jupiter. I took this one between the walnut tree branches from home yesterday evening. I was too tired to leave home so I had to get a little creative. If you zoom in, you can see Jupiter's moons! The pair will still look close tonight... in the west after sunset. I'll have to reshare this image on Halloween. Pure magic!

Standing on the shores of Upper Waterton Lake, my astrophotography dreams came through. The Aurora Borealis with light pillars were visible through my camera lens.

Cassiopeia Centered on M52 - While shooting this Summer with the L-Pro filter by Optolong, I set my telescope on Cassiopeia for an hour waiting on another target to get above my treeline. Cassiopeia is one of my favorite areas of the sky to shoot and normally I do that using my L-eNhanced filter. By using the L-Pro, the nebulosity is a little down, but star color is up! 🌌 M51 - Whirlpool Galaxy Stretching roughly 76,000 light years across and located around 31 million light years away, we have two interacting galaxies - left, a grand design spiral gaxaly (NGC 5194), right, a Seyfert 2 active galactic necleus (NGC 5195). The smaller Seyfert galaxy is passing behind and is thought to be causing the birth of new stars in the upper arm of the spiral galaxy through tidal interactions (unfortunately in trying to remove the light pollution I've removed detail from this arm, but you can see the end of the arm in front of the smaller galaxy and can easily trace where the arm is). Magical moments in Jabal Hafeet Al Ain. This is a story of 700KM drive = Dubai -> Abu Dhabi -> Al Ain -> Abu Dhabi -> Dubai. I started from Dubai in evening and went to Abu Dhabi, had dinner with my friend Ali then we drove all the way to Al Ain. Fog predictions were 100% and we reached right on time. We reached to top of the mountain around 12 AM and it was freezing cold. Weather went down to 6 degrees in the night and I was running up and down the mountain to shot as many sequences as possible. It was breathtaking moments from the top and we wanted to stay till sunrise to capture morning shots as well but unfortunately due to heavy winds, fog disappeared just before blue hour. So we had breakfast and traveled back to Abu Dhabi, dropped Ali and came back to home in Dubai. I am still very happy that I captured several sequences which brings this Timelapse Alive.
