For Mendeln 17: How does your OC do during the zombie apocalypse? (I know he is a necro, but I'm p curious anyway)

When push comes to shove, Mendeln was born a farmer, and always will be a farmer (It wasn’t Rathma’s idea for people to use scythes). As such, he’s rather more comfortable with the typical contents of a tool-shed, and would liberally apply them to any issue that looks like they could be applied to. He’s also got a decent knowledge of gardening and animal handling.

Let’s remove the Necromancer variable from the equation for this one.

In the event of a good old-fashioned zombie-apocalypse, Mendeln is most likely going to grab his shovel and go to town. Batter and splatter, use blunt-force trauma until the area has been made as clear and secure as can be in zombie-infested waters. Ideally, he’d try and hole up somewhere, build himself up a barricade or two, and start figuring out crop-rotations. Does anyone still have chickens? They’re going to need them for the up and coming apocalypse.

Now if Necromancy is a part of this scenario:

Corpse-Explosion. Lot’s and lot’s of corpse-explosion. And then go rummaging around for chickens, better to have a flock and not need them, then need a flock and not have them.

Chialnaoth regularly has nightmares, kinda expected with what she’s been through and her age.

The most frequent one is that she’s back with her mother, small and weak, trapped and unable to escape this time. It varies with who else is there or what else happens, but it’s enough to make her get out of bed and not want to fall asleep again until the next night.

Other times it’s her being hunted by Demon Hunters, or fighting off Corrupted. The ones she can deal with the most are the ones where she doesn’t even remember what was happening, but she was jolted awake. Those she just turns over and falls back asleep again.

Fledglings cannot talk or even fly upon their birth from the arch. In fact, these skills are completely dependent on their ability to resonate with other angels. 

A fledgling may be born more mobile than a human baby, able to walk and run within a few hours of creation, but they have not developed the ability to fly, to talk, or even to fear and avoid demons.  They have a more innate sense of curiosity and tend to latch onto the first resonances they feel for answers. A fledgling can communicate how they are feeling and adult angels will be quick to meet their needs. Also when adults talk or fly, their resonances are changing and fledglings pick up on this and quickly start to mimic those changes. Usually it takes a month before a fledgling is able to fly and a few more for them to be able to hold conversation. Once a fledgling obtains language and demonstrates an ability to fly, they are left more on their own to explore and often form mini hosts within fledglings around their age. by five years of age, they are started into schooling and by the end of schooling are considered young adults as this tends to line up with when their form starts to shift. 

Angels of wisdom or angels born without a song, often do not develop these same abilities. It is not uncommon for many not to start speaking for a few years and it is more common for those angels that are considered “wisdom angels” to not be able to fly and rely on more terrestrial means of movement. 

Since they cannot sense resonances, they are far more experimental with things, often being termed “troublesome” as they will act out more as a means to see the outcome. They cannot sense the reaction so often do things to incite strong reaction and learn mostly by trial-and-error in formative years. This can translate to perceived behavioral issues. Also given that adults can’t sense them, it often takes longer to figure out what is wrong and as most don’t develop language quickly, it leads to far more outburst on the frustrated wisdom fledgling’s end. 

Wisdom angel parents raising wisdom fledglings are known to talk as much as possible to the fledgling to help them with grasping language. Even if the fledgling may not respond or speak they are picking up the language still. They also will pick up the “wing rasping” and how to communicate need to other wisdom angels using that as well. 

The fear and dislike of demons is something fledglings learn from the reaction of adults. If a young fledgling encounters demonic influences, they act far more curiously and want to explore it. It has been noted young demons and angels will actually play with each other without inherit ill will,although demon young are  more feral and bitey. Most fledglings adapt to this by learning to smack back. As they get older the dislike and desire to do harm becomes more prominent and it is unsure if it is from the parents or some form of defense against the other’s influence on their soul.

How is Dante? Haven't really heard much of him lately.

He’s been alright, mostly tired and irritated at his brother lately. Thoughts on the demons of Diablo? Specifically the Primes, but if you've got a specific Duriel Headcanon I'd be curious about that too.

I love their designs, all of them (Except Azmodan because WTH!)

I love to think of the primes as three brothers, Mephisto as the oldest and with a IDGAF attitude, Baal being the middle child and just using that to his advantage to be forgotten by the other two, he’s just trying to do his work without any interference. Diablo is the youngest, and a little shit, He and Mephisto are constantly at each others throats, Diablo wants to be the strongest, Mephisto still sees him as the annoying younger brother.

As for Duriel, I’ve only ever seen it mentioned once in @asktheangiriscouncil besides that, I know nothing about it, I’m not opposed to it, just don’t know much about it, (Not that it takes much to get me to like a ship lol)
