I think Ashley already wore the choker since always, my headcanon is that Andrew gifted it to her with the money he got on his first actual job as a sorta apology for leaving her alone

But I also find the idea of Ashley trying to make herself look as similar as possible to his girlfriend's very funny

I like to imagine Ashley had this habit of either making sure Andrew didn't go to Julia's dorm or if she couldn't, go with them herself, which then formed into this just randomly showing up unannounced habit

Once Ashley catches Julia and her brother in that compromising position she never misses the chance of calling her to remind Julia that she's nothing more than a dumb bitch he can actually fuck to her brother

That doesn't stop Ashley from getting that collar and making sure Andrew knows he can always put a leash on it if he would just stop being such a little unfaithful bitch

How I would’ve rewritten House of the Dragon:

This is only for the benefit to create character depth and build relationships between characters. The jarring 10 years ahead time skip truly did a disservice to the characters we know. So here’s how Episode 6 and 7 should’ve looked:

Episode 6:

It is a fortnight after Rhaenyra and Laenor’s wedding. House Velaryon is still in the capital as Rhaenys takes Laena to the dragon pit on so she may get advice from the dragon keepers on how to claim a dragon. Daemon is intrigued by Laena and Laena says Corlys is taking her to Pentos as Vhagar has been spotted there.

Corlys tells Laenor that he needs to get over his grief for Joffrey and consummate his marriage with Rhaenyra, as there have been rumors that they haven’t. Rhaenyra thanks Ser Harwin for saving her from the mob and they become close by flirting. Corlys tells Viserys that their kids marriage is not consummated and Viserys and Alicent have an (awkward) intervention with Rhaenyra that she must consummate her marriage and have heirs of her own, so that she will strengthen her claim. Alicent cannot look Rhaenyra in the eye, it is obvious she has been avoiding her. To prove their point, Alicent’s third pregnancy with Aemond is announced (to little fanfare).

The trial for Criston Cole is held. Rhaenyra is called to testify for Criston but she is only neutral and doesn't speak for or against him. Lord Strong and Corlys also remain neutral but Alicent is the one to vouch for him successfully.

In their apartments, Rhaenyra and Laenor awkwardly agree to consummate their marriage. The scene starts with them masturbating solo but join their bodies together when they are close to their peak. The next day, Laenor sees his family off, telling Corlys that the deed is done. Laenor and Laena talk as she hopes that he tries to find happiness in his marriage and he wishes her good luck in her claiming Vhagar.

In Pentos, Daemon is waiting for the Velaryons with Caraxes and watches as Laena successfully claims Vhagar. Rhaenys disapproves of his interest in Laena but Corlys is blasé about it.

The episode ends with Rhaenyra seeking Harwin out and she kisses him. He is hesitant but ultimately follows her back to her rooms when she invites him. A servant watches in the shadows wearing a firefly ring, a sigil belonging to Larys Strong.

Man, I really should've played Transistor sooner

This is just everything that speaks to my artist bone, the stunning hand-painted visuals, the cutscenes, the modern influences, the light, the composition - this has it all! And all that is just scratching the surface why this game is a masterpiece

I don't really like sci-fi settings all that much, but Transistor managed to make it something magical, give this world a soul, so to speak, even the machines feel alive and organic (maybe because they partially are)

Really, everything there just breathes style, beauty, and it all comes together in the perfect symphony of aestheticism

That is not to say other sgg games don't have their own style, mind you, but Transistor is something so incredibly unique that I doubt anything is going to compare

Not to mention the deep story that, in its core, is pretty simple, it is about how love overcomes broken society and prevails no matter what

But it works so well that you can write just paragraphs analyzing it

And in tandem with music, everything comes together perfectly that it steals your breath away

Ok, I think I'm done waxing poetics about this game (for now)
