okay so this is how I would approach the 2019 met gala. the first two are from ashish ss17, the picture on the bottom left is from the kiram uttam ghosh show at wills lifestyle indian fashion week, the bottom right is jean paul gaultier spring couture 2013.

the camp, the extravagance, the artificiality is centered on the face (which is basically the first photo + with the addition of the veil seen in the second) with the body supplementing it and also offering an interesting contrast between the two. and the whole time a homage to bollywood and india. i wouldnt change anything from the bottom left, but the bottom right i would add more blues and purples to fit the makeup
