Turkuzbek drabble - Takes place sometime around 2019

Nargiza woke up in someone's lap. Turning her head to the side and blinking blearily, she found herself in a car. She looked up to find a trinket of the Uzbek flag hung on the back view mirror, coupled with the extremely loud song blasting through the radio about someone wanting to marry his neighbor Gulsanam.

What a relief, so this is my car...

She looked up to see a stubbly chin, and immediately recognized who it was as a familiar scent of spices and musk surrounded the mysterious person, who noticed she was staring at him.

"Rise and shine, aşkım!"

All of a sudden, her face felt extremely hot even with the car's air conditioning at full.

He's just playing, no need to get so worked up! He says that to others all the time!

"Turkey! What are you doing in my car?" Uzbekistan whispered. "Why am I here? Last I remembered I decided to rest on one of the benches outside the conference room and..." Oh. She realized she may or may not have fallen asleep.

With Uzbekistan's big changes happening all so quickly and without warning after the new president introduced reforms to the country, she had gone through her notes multiple times to make sure she wasn't leaving anything out for her presentation about the country the next day. By the time she was about to set her alarm for the morning and go to sleep, she looked at the time only to find that she had about thirty minutes left before the morning prayer.

Turkey cleared his throat, snapping her out of remembering the events of last night. "Well... you fell asleep. Absolutely conked out of your mind. You were drooling and all, it was actually kinda cute-"

"Yes, I remember now Turkey-"

"Call me Sadik. And your sleepy face was so adorable, I couldn't wake you up! So I carried you all the way to your car. They did put up a fight when I said I was getting in the car with you, but I gave them a 20 dollar bill each, told them you were my wife-"

"YOUR WHAT?"

"And suddenly they didn't have a problem!"

Uzbekistan got up from his lap and sighed. Every single time she thinks she knows everything about him, he does something that makes her feel like someone pulled a rug underneath her feet. "Sadik, we aren't even married..."

There was a silence, both of them hyperfocusing on the song blasting through the radio.

Turkey took a deep breath and cracked a smirk. "What if we were though-"

Uzbekistan grabbed his shoulders and shook him back and forth. "No! We must shake that thought out of your head!"

Turkey laughed. "Good luck getting about 500 years out of me then!"

"HUH??"

Arthur and Sadiq, for a million historical reasons. Most of them have names: Gabriel, in the eternal jealousy for Portugal; and Andalucia (in fact in my HC this was not his directly fault, but by Al Andalus, the bigger cousin of Turkiye - in that time, Al Gharb/Anatolia ; but Sadiq inherited all the problem when he became Ottoman and such; he is a moro and los moros no pasarán. )

I think it's an interesting one! I don't see that much people who ship them but I think they have a history together I guess. In my opinion they would be very chaotic together. It's like they would many things together like random things or childish ones. Sometimes I think they would share one braincell each other haha. I like their dynamic too. Also one of them is my home country so seeing this made happy too :) 9/10 Wish had proper screentime though.
