Cinderella boy pokemon AU; #1

~Buddy~

Liepard ♀️

Starter. Ex Libris gives a pokemon egg to everyone once they hit the age of 10, the same age they are allowed to start collecting narratonin, so the pokemon can assist the key bearer. Buddy hatched a purrloin which later evolved into a Liepard.

Liepard's are elegant and sleek pokemon with gorgeous fur, despite their apperences, Liepard's are generally vicious and moody.

Buddy's own liepard isn't any different with generally unfriendly attitude towards strangers. She doesn't shy away from scratching her own trainer if he happens to displease him yet will act like a kicked lillipup if she doesn't get hourly kisses and pets from Buddy.

She is also Buddy's stylist and personal trainer as every morning she spends 15 minutes grooming his hair to perfection and all the excersize Buddy really needs is carrying that spoiled apex predator, which is almost the same height as him, around when she feels like getting babied.

Arbok ♀️

Tamed pokemon. Ekans is a regular pokemon in the abondened corners of the ex libris dungeon, before he got his first pokemon, Buddy used to spend hours trying to befriend this one. Getting poisoned countless times in the progress. The second Buddy got his first pokemon and pokeballs, he ran to the dungeon to finally catch her. He was so excited that he fumbled the pokeballs so the Ekans headbutted one herself.

She enjoys eating lots of treats, getting tiny scratches with a tiny toothbrush and regularly committing to Buddy's life by wrapping around him as he sleeps.

In her defence, she really loves cuddling and doesn't realize she is squeezing too hard in her sleep. Buddy doesn't mind it one bit.

Ariados ♀️✨

Shiny (I couldn't miss the chance to make her purple) and Buddy's first catch. The abondened corners of the dungeons of ex libris attract many small wild pokemon and makes it a prime spot to train. Spinarak's prefer forests so Buddy never saw one before catching her.

It wasn't until a whole month later that he learned his spinarak was shiny.

She enjoy creating eleborate patterned lace webs to decorate with and seeing his trainer add them to his clothing. Ariados' has extremly sturdy webs so Buddy regularly wears them and uses them to accessorise. (And, well, she gets sad when he doesn't.)

Salazzle ♀️

Rescued pokemon. Buddy found her as an injured salandit and sneaked her inside the Ex Libris headquarters until she healed.

But she never left and now Buddy has a giant poisonous lizards bigger than him.

Salazzle is an extremely affectionate pokemon. Combined with her natural strength, you get a pokemon who can easily pick Buddy up and carry him around despite his protests.

Nidoking ♂️

Caught pokemon. When Buddy first met him, he was an unnaturally large Nidoran that he first mistook as a Nidorino that had a knack for knocking down trees. It took three hours and countless pokeballs before Buddy finally added him to the team and learned that he was still just a Nidoran.

His unnaturally large proportion continued on as he evolved, allowing Buddy to ride him when he was just a Nidorino with no trouble. As a Nidoking, he can easily tower over other of his kind when he is on two feet. But because of his mass, he can't support his weight for too long and always walks around in 4 feet. He almost always has at least one of his teammates hitching a ride on his back.

He is extremely aggressive and territorial. Lashes out easily at strangers which forces Buddy to spend every waking hour keeping him in check. Thankfully, he seems to accept his trainer and teammates as his pack. Showing incredible patience to their shenigans.

Galarian Slowking ♂️

Stolen pokemon. Buddy saw him at a night fair he snuck out to. He was dangerously underweight and overworked as his trainer used him for 'shows' and neglected to give him breaks or water. After seeing the Slowking pass out from exhaustion, Buddy sneaked backstage and stole him.

After feeding and tending to him, Buddy released the pokemon and went back to ex libris. Around 2 months later, he woke up to his Liepard snarling up a storm and the same Galarian Slowking standing in his room. After that, he never left.

He generally prefers to do his own stuff but hates to be left alone. Carrying his stuff to whatever room Buddy is in so he can tinker with his stuff and bask in his trainers presence. He also enjoy getting fed by hand and claimed the end of Buddy's bed as his own.

In the monster hunter au I can see the monsters just puzzled as to why this smiling human isn’t afraid of them like other humans, or why is he even approaching them without the usual hunter’s armor or weapons

Emmet meanwhile is just fascinated by most of them and while he knows that even pokemon can be sometimes dangerous, he probably isn’t aware of how truly dangerous some of these things really are until some very distressed hunters try and explain things (doesn’t stop him from being curious, of course)

Referencing the Dimension-Hopper Emmet idea.

Emmet *scares* most monsters. He's so happy and confident but not malicious, that most monsters have processing errors trying to decide if this is really a fight they wanna risk. Most irl apex predators run when they encounter an unafraid stranger.

Monsters need HG Earplugs to block out Emmet's delighted "HELLO! WOULD YOU LIKE TO BATTLE?"

I can strangely see Emmet accidentally endearing himself to a literal elder dragon due to his kindness and lack of fear.

A random monster when they meet a human who doesn't try harming or capturing them;

Emmet: "..." *wonders if pokeballs work on these things*

Emmet also keeps calling things by their closest pokemon-equivalent, or what the creature's main vocalisation is.

Emmet: "Ah! What are you?"

Tigrex: *loud roar!*

Emmet: "Raarrr? Hm, must be a common typing."

His "Meowth" companions:( -_-)(-_- )

Don't get it twisted, he does get hurt a lot... but it's hard to compare the pain of getting carted (losing all HP) to living with a giant cuddly electrified spider, lamprey, and your brother's soul-sucking chandelier.

this is completely random but do you think it would be more funny in a pokemon au if Desmond ran into Alex as a monster and thought he was some undiscovered pokemon that didn't want to go into a pokeball or if he met him and thought he was a down on his luck trainer who didn't have any pokemon yet

and Aelx is trapped in the worst case of person with a secret identity has to sidle off and reappear as their alter ego ever

because Desmond is convinced his alter ego is a misunderstood dark pokemon who needs to be befriended, no matter how dark and vicious he appears

and keeps trying to empathize with Alex over pokemon running away from him when Alex is knows it's because they know he's an apex predator that not so secretly wants to eat them

We get a spiderman situation where Alex starts taking pictures of himself (but not to sell, just to give to Desmond). It fuels Desmond's need to find and befriend this sad little pokemon XD

pokemon au) crocea mors despite his grouchy nature, is actually quite slow to anger. there's just not much that actually makes him mad. however steel is meant to be used and he is an instrument of war. he can feel it deep in the heart of himself, his family is in danger.

crocea mors is on the war path, and he will not sheath himself until he has tasted blood.

meanwhile, cinder is about to find out, there's something about jaune that's more dangerous than any pokemon. like the old saying goes

beware the anger of a quiet man

Jaune groaned as he felt the Salazzle sink her envenomed fangs into his shoulder. He was fuzzy on Alolan Pokémon, but he heard stories about Salazzle's leading male Salandit who were subservient to her. His personal conclusion was that Salazzle prefer to believe they were in charge, but after seeing this one so eagerly obeying Cinder's orders, it made him rethink this.

"Does it hurt?" Cinder asked, standing over him. Her voice cooed like a mother to her child. "I can make it stop." She frowned at him. "Just bring out your friend."

"I-" he grunted through the pain, "I don't know what you're talking about!"

"Midnight?" Her Salazzle kept her jaw shut. "Fire Lash."

Jaune screamed as an intense heat struck him across his shoulder lime a flaming whip. He pushed against Midnight, but she held firm, holding him down with her natural strength. He could tell she was enjoying his pain from the way her eyes glinted. He saw the same expression on a number of Pokémon as they played with their toys. And that was what he became now; this Pokémon's new toy.

He shut his eyes, wishing for the pain to stop. A loud CLANG had him open his eyes, watching as the Salazzle was struck in the face by a blur of solid metal. Crocea Mors had entered the battle.

Midnight scurried to her trainer's side, hissing at Jaune and Crocea Mors. Cinder sneered at the sudden arrival. Jaune found his way to his feet, pulling out a Pecha berry as a precaution. With a bite, he started feeling much better. Crocea Mors stood ready, a dangerous aura surrounding him.

"Be careful, Crocea Mors," Jaune warned, "she might be Poison-type, but she's also a Fire-type."

"Midnight," Cinder raised a finger at the two, "make him give up his Pokémon."

"Never." Jaune growled.

The two Pokémon charged at each other. Midnight held tight to Crocea Mors, hissing as she curled her claws. Crocea Mors, unable to shift to sword-mode, struggled in her grip.

"Midnight, use Toxic!" Dark purple venom oozed from her open maw at her master's order.

"Crocea Mors, Iron Defense!" His shield shone brighter as a light sheen coated his already impenetrable guard. Their foe was clearly an amateur if she ordered a Poison-type move against a Steel-type.

"Tell me, child," Cinder smirked, "have you ever been to the Alolan Islands?"

"Can't say I have, no." Jaune scowled.

"Well, did you know that Salazzle are the apex predators of their island?" Her smirk grew to a wicked smile. "In part due to their venom, which is potent enough-"

"Crocea Mors!" The Aegislash screeched in pain as the dark ooze burned across his metal exterior, it seeping into his core.

"-to melt through Steel-types. Salazzle, use Flamethrower!" Purple flames erupted from the Pokémon's maw onto Crocea Mors, his screeching growing louder. Cinder laughed at the pathetic display. This was the power Salem thought to be a threat? A child and his toy? "Ready to give up, and will your Pokémon suffer more?"

"NO!" Jaune rushed forward, into the battle. Just as Cinder planned. Nodding to Midnight, the Salazzle understood the order and released the Aegislash to grab the trainer. With claws splayed out, Midnight was ready to ensnare the boy. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!"

"Midnight, use Flamethrower!" Violet flames streamed into Jaune, making him roar in pain.

Her flames were weakened in the rain, but it would be more than enough to subdue the boy. Perhaps after this, he would become more cooperative. Jaune's body erupted into flames, the lavender embers lingering over his form as he fell forward.

His foot smashed into the wet soil, pushing him forward. He lept through the inferno, emerging with flames as blue as his eyes. He crashed into the Salazzle, tackling her to the ground. She screeched in pain, swiping at him with her claw. He took the blow, but continued stomping through his pain to attack again.

Midnight slithered out of his reach, leaving him to sink his leg into the soft earth. She hid behind her trainer, who sneered at her Pokémon.

"Pathetic." She tossed the black ball at Jaune, striking him in the face.

It opened like a Poké-Ball, but instead of red lights emerging from it's core, black webs struck out, sticking to Jaune. He shouted as the tar stuck more and more to him. He tried to run, but his leg was stuck in the ground. It struck his face, silencing his shouts of rage. Soon, his struggling lessened, then stopped.

Crocea Mors unsheathed his blade and struck the black evil from Jaune. He plunged his blade into the black ball, destroying both it and the evil attacking his charge. A sharp pain struck him, and he fell to the ground. The last thing he saw was the woman approaching Jaune, and the last thing he heard was a shrill cry.

This just in, the most feared creature in the Coronet Highlands now has sole custody of one small boy.

Yes, this is yet another AU when I already have other things unfinished. All I can say is I’m sorry, but (just like my other ideas) it would not leave me alone until I drew it. I love Luxrays so much, top ten Pokemon for me, and I wanted a little Emmet in Hisui AU so...This was born. Also, yes, Emmet did look at this giant apex predator and think “Ah yes...Generator :>”

If anyone has a suggest for a name for this AU, please let me know as I am not sure what I should call it.

Probably one of the funniest takes I've seen on the timeline thing is from a fic series where the mc's (who is professor rowan's assistant, rather than the dppt protag) main theory is that Hisui is actually a post-apocalyptic future. People keep being like "So you're from the future?" And he's always like, "or the past!! Or possibly an alternate dimension, it's kind of inconclusive. But my running theory is that I'm from a couple thousand years in the past!" Surprisingly not crack either, there's a lot of good world building in there

I think my favorite theory/hc though is the idea you and an anon floated around awhile ago about the kalos war, darkest day, and pla all happening within the same year or so. That whole conversation had me laughing, so it really stuck with me

i think ive said this b4 but no genuinely i would LOVE to write a post-apocalyptic future hisui. not necessarily as a take on canon but moreso as a very close-to-canon au because. i loooove postapoc shit. ive heard rumors that AT is postapoc though i've never really watched that? i wanna do something like that. where it seems like just a very different world to ours, and then you get jumpscared with "NOPE it's actually after the end of society as it was formerly known." that's fun!

the kalos war and darkest day being contemporary with each other, though, that's super canon supported!! adding the rift crisis is more my hc (on account of the whole timeline debate), but the other two both took place around 3,000 years before canon (3000 being the exact number the games give in both places, iirc.) there's also the twin heroes of unova, who started and ended unova's internal war some unnamed time over 2,500 years ago (since one of them built relic castle and its corresponding civilization, which wouldn't reach its apex until 2500ya). so you can throw that into the pot if you wanna. just for funsies.

i'm um. rambling again. it's a Fast Brain kind of day. but i have a LOT of hcs about what's happening in a broader scale in the pokemon world during pla, most of which is written down in like full-on lore documents and i would love to do something with... someday.

AN AU where Connor is desperate enough that when he finds TERAPAGOS, the disc Pokemon offers him a chance to become his dream: Someone who is as UNIQUE as a shiny Pokemon and RARE like Flick, his Koraidon.

... Except TERAPAGOS took Connor seriously and the young trainer is transformed into a SHINY KORAIDON. Stripped of his ability to speak human, he finds himself relying on FLICK for her guidance.

As a Koraidon, he retains the black feathers of the shiny but instead of red & yellow, he has a darker and light blue. His eyes maintain the sky blue color they are. He is unable to go into APEX FORM, technically still a young Koraidon.

My self inserts' Halloween costumes

(for those OCs that require it, assume it's a modern AU)

Francesca "Frankie" van der Linde (RDR): She dresses up as Dutch to mock him. Everyone loves it, except Dutch and Micah.

Jesse Michaels (DOOM): Is easily frightened, so he goes as a pumpkin.

Tacia (TES): She usually goes as slashers, like Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, etc.

Bloodmoon (TES): Does some amazing SFX makeup. They go as a Necronomicon demon from Evil Dead.

Nyx Hazels (Evil Dead): They go in a random Walmart costume, despite Ash asking her to do a sexy costume.

Orbit (Star Wars): Puts on their old Mando helmet and cries once they do.

Crow (Star Wars): They put on Jango's helmet and say that she's a clone. Jango isn't amused.

Cardinal Astral (The Band Ghost): The ghouls help it dress up as one of the Papas. They do a much better job at being Papa than the actual Papas.

Silver Stark (MCU): Halloween is her favorite holiday. He'll go as one of the Avengers. They love dressing up as Loki, no matter how much Loki says he hates it.

Thorn (MCU): Since she shares a body with Silver, she doesn't have much of a choice in costume, since Silver is the host. But she does ask for Silver to stop doing the Loki costumes. If Thorn had a choice, they'd go as a sheet ghost. "That's not fair! You're already a ghost!" Silver would say. "Too bad." Thorn would reply.

Lucius Walker (The Batman 2022): They do those "sexy" costumes, but does it in drag queen/king styles.

Tage Dunn ([PROTOTYPE]): Alex and Tage go as Jesse and James from Pokemon. Alex rocks the mini skirt! Dana is Meowth.

Virus (Apex Legends): (they're the same person as Tage Dunn, just in the future) Cries over photos of them and Alex in costume, before going to the Legends' Halloween party as Catwoman.

Nightshade/Nephelos (Minecraft): They put fairy lights on their horns as claim they're a Yule tree.

Willow (UNDERTALE): They and Sans go as each other. Papyrus starts talking to them as if they're Sans and is upset yet impressed when told otherwise.

Alessandra "Allie" Corleone (The Godfather): She goes as Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, or any other famous Italian mobster. Complete with a drawn out New York accent. "Eyy, I'm walkin' 'ere!" etc. Everyone hates the voice, but loves the costume. Allie doesn't care.

Navi (Pirates of the Carribean): A mermaid, of course! She puts on amazing SFX makeup.

Aurora Borealis (Star Trek): Cat-lizard people can’t do much in the way of makeup, so they have to stick with costumes. They love dressing up as an elf.
