Either way theres some period where you need to drop work in order to prepare for the baby and let yourself heal from the labor

Hes more likely to back down in any arguments that may happen; he doesnt wanna stress you out and he understands your hormones are out of whack

yooo why are y'all going to hard on anon being disappointed that their shit hasn't been worked on yet. like yeah its a little rude and they could probably do with having some more patience but like idk they're also allowed to feel bad and complain a bit about it a little.

anyways, yeah its sort of to be expected since theres like, 2-3 artists working on fauna iirc. OBLIGATORY DISCLAIMER I COULD BE COMPLETELY WRONG HERE, i also remember seeing somewhere that work is like, largely self-selected? or something like that? as in, individual artists will choose their assignments from a list of things the team has to do. even if you submitted your concepts first, it could just be that by the time the list of work was fully compiled and given to the team, the artists pounced on other backers' designs first because it was more appealing to them.

in any case, we're at 6/10 backer fauna designs completed, so its very possible next month's update will feature all the remaining designs.

not that many thoughts for this chapter tbh! EDIT LOL: this was a lie i have a lot of thoughts

-just in general i feel like the player isn't the only one controlling kris... like yes the player forced kris to do what happened in the snowgrave route but AT THE SAME TIME idk it feels like there's someone else too. just because of the terrifying voice i suppose. and also the jerky movement kris does every time they get their soul out? unless there's another reason for it... maybe getting your soul out means you walk weird lol

-BUT ALSO i feel like kris is 100% in control when they create fountains. idk it just makes sense kris would create them. to create another world, a better world, A WORLD WHERE THEIR BROTHER IS HERE PERHAPS? i do wonder why they get their soul out then though. i'm all for it sweetie! do whatever! i support you!

-(i am and will be playing deltarune with only kris' best interests in mind. i will not hurt anyone unless kris wants me to. dont worry my little meow meow im on your side! talk to me! no? okay ill stay under the sink its fine)

-the city walk with susie at the end makes it clear to me that kris really values susie's friendship... kris even sits with her if you spend long enough near the lake like aaaaah ;_;

-and even in snowgrave you spend your last acts with the final boss calling for your friends like YES there's a way bigger creepy aspect to this (kris as more of a Leader who Commands and commands their subjects to come) but still :'0 (and then noelle answers oh my god noelle im so sorry for the trauma)

-like the amount of details added to snowgrave, like if you equip noelle's watch she notices later? and her battle animations change as time goes on, she gets an ice shield and stops sighing in relief after battle? oh my god? oh my god.

-also so many good pixel art this chapter. too many? i didnt need pixel art of cardboard noelle falling on the statue. like thank you but please. please it hurts my game artist brain.

-the expressions in this chapter were also top notch. all the unsettling noelle expressions like (i fall over face first)

-i threw away the ball of junk (which i already tried in ch1) and this time the game was like "ARE YOU SURE BC THIS IS A BAD IDEA" and kris felt bitter :'( (it deletes all your items in the dark world)

-i uh fucked up and skipped the susie+noelle scene bc listen last time ralsei mentionned seeing what susie is doing we missed some PRIMO LORE. turns out it just makes you skip the scene and you dont get anything new. welp

-speaking of ralsei well you know. he exists. but im stuck on him going "i just wonder what being ralsei-like even is...?" ralsei my dude there's so much i could say about this. do you feel like you can't be ralsei-like because you feel like you have to be asriel-like

-but also that makes no sense bc susie hasnt even mentioned ralsei looks like asriel. and i cant imagine asriel being so meek. so WHAT GIVES

-ralsei as kris’ “i wish i was a monster just like my bro and family and i’d look like asriel but with red horns [THE HALLOWEEN COSTUME] and my name would be something cool like ralsei instead of a boring human name like kris and im sweet and cute because thats how i act with asriel because ASRIEL MADE ME” theory because that would be cute.

-kris definitely has a connection with the big red door in the city, judging by what the kids say they probably went there... i feel like this place's dark world will be the Final Dungeon you KNOW some shit happened there. also the sounds you hear when you go there is the phone dark world call's sound slowed down? AND AFTER SNOWGRAVE APPARENTLY YOU CANT HEAR IT ANYMORE? HUWAH?

-speaking of songs the songs were all so good, My Castle Town rules, the berdly snowgrave music is stuck in my head, flashback is uwah wuahah, Until Next Time is so good, AND ALSO A FRIEND NOTICED THE DARK WORLD CITY THEME IS JUST tHE SONG 74 (MOST NOTICEABLE WITH THE SNOWGRAVE VERSION)?????? WHAT DOES IT MEAN????? it might be just "hey its just reuse" BUT MR FOX YOU KNOW WE'RE GONNA READ INTO THIS IS NOELLE THE ONE SINGING IDK BRO!!!!!!!!!!

-asgore dreemurr fired from the force what happun!!!!! game theory is that asgore is related to dess' death/disappearance but eh who knows

-you start the chapter at lvl2 and get to lvl3 after the final boss, a friend mentioned this is probably because we destroyed a world and im :0

-to go back to kris it's still so interesting to figure out who they are based on how they act/people mention them. like kris shaking the ferris wheel car? yeah makes sense i can imagine a pranking kid do this. kris' dance? yeah thats a little silly but i can buy it. doing cool anime poses? well i dunno this doesnt line up PERFECTLY but sure. BUT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN SNOWGRAVE... especially >proceed like that is such a weird thing that i can't imagine them doing, but i can't completely see the "player" doing either (compare with going to sans -which kris doesnt know- and going "SANS!" because of course the player would know sans), like THATS one of the reasons i feel like there's someone else in there. the weird robotic merciless actions. if im going super meta it feels like there'd be someone else like writing the choices into existence for us to pick you know? gaster probably? god i need to read more gaster theories i completely sidestepped the gaster shit bc i wasnt interested. anyway just spitballing

unnatural - wjsn | recommended songs: all of them (especially unnatural, supermoon, and yalla) except for rewind | skips: just rewind bc ballad /// im not sure what style to call this album but they really made such a smash, its crazy that it came out so early in the year and no gg is touching it (album wise). literally the only complaints i have are the obligatory ballad (that they always do bc they can all sing lmfao), the album cover/title (dont love the cover design and i dont love when the album name is the tt name, except in certain circumstances (a full album (especially where the title isnt necessarily from the title track) like montero) or when it's a single album (the inverse of this being rsq's prequel which couldve just been called colorfull since that was the only damn song 😐)). i also was disappointed with the outfits for last dance but that's peripheral.

ugly beauty, jolin tsai - discovered this year, came out in 2018. i just really like jolin tsai idk. i had only heard that album w play and i’m not yours, both are iconic but the production quality sounds...low? like its older but ik they’re not *that* old. either way, ugly beauty does everything i wanted it to - dramatic, vocals, rapping, boa vibes...jolin tsai is a queen what can i say

also, there are of course a ton of singles that i love as well, this is albums only though lmfao. i have no idea if i could even attempt to organize the singles lol

2. ok minor minor minor. idk im so... neutral abt troi/riker as an item right now!! i htink i could warm up but its also like. thus far theyve just... like i feel like theyve not given any actual moments between them. do yoou know what i mean, girlie. like i swear i rarely ever see them interact and i genuinely thought it was gonna be, like, a thing they brought up in the pilot then literally just FORGET abt bc like... theyve just literally been all tell and no show. like theyre like “oh they were a thing and theres still sth there” but then havent rlly... like they havent actually done tht much together? do u kno wht it means? like its just like the show has told us they have chemistry without really letting them demonstrate... anyways. and idk i dont have a PROBLEM with that, actually. like im fine with that, bc its been super unobtrusive ya kno- and what i actually wanted to say is that!!! im rlly GOOD with it in a way.

like im neutral on them as a Couple and whatnot (also in part bc i do LIKE riker&troi, i do, but im not obsessed with them yet) but omg idk... its like i said its been pretty unobtrusive does tht make sense. usually tht shit is crammed down ur throat in some manner, like- even if its just in terms of jealousy or whatveer but... on MULTIPLE occasions, it feels like, both troi and riker have like shown interest in the New Character of the Week. and i realised it with uhhhh the ep (runs to check) THE VENGEANCE FACTOR. bc its like him and troi were sat there eating together and the girlie of the week came over and she, like, got up and was like :3 i’ll leave you to it- AND I DONT KNOW? I KNOW THIS IS LIKE. BARE MINIMUM BUT ITS JSUT... REALLY NICE TO SEE CHARACTERS WHO ARE, LIKE, OPENLY KINDA INTERESTED IN EACH OTHER BUT ARENT, LIKE, A THING-THING AND YET THEY WONT BE LIKE. RANCID IF THE OTHER PERSON IS SHOWING INTEREST IN OTHER PPL. DOES THT MAKE SENSE. like theyre chill and calm and like i said. i do think i could warm up to them if i got to see more of them.... I FEEL SO WEIRD im stillnot sure how i feel abt EITHER of them and im unsure why . i really am. like i feel like ah i like you guyss! but thts abt it. i think i still need to see more. anyways

3. also bc it comes up sometimes similar talk i think i wanna talk about Wesley . get him off my chest. i dont hate wesley. im the epitome of neutral on wesley as well. but like if you took s1 wesley and put him into s3 i’d be in a fucking rage. like i think the thing is, s1 wesley fucking sucks but also its like... in general all the writing in s1 was fuckign bad and frankly he just ended up turning out very annoying becuase of it but ultimately . do u kno wht i mean. like its just s1 antics. wesley, now, in s3 is still not like a big fave but bc the writing is better i’m like okay! youre here! BUT if they wrote an ep with him in the same way they used him in s1 THEN i’d be mad. anyways.

My playlists!

this may sound snobby of me but i really don’t care. i have fucking excellent taste in music. i have a thing for music to the point i’m a bit of an audiophile. music is so crazy important to me. i could probably write a 10k essay on all the reasons i love music. but, anyway. thought i would share the playlists i write to or just... do anything to, really.

Spotify

My obligatory Ironstrange playlist - this one is a hefty one at 422 songs at the time of writing this. This is generally upbeat and energetic with a lot of classic rock, alt rock, 80s stuff, and then a dash of love songs and sprinkle of instrumental/orchestral stuff. i do a lot of writing to this one, but more than anything it’s just my jam out playlist.

Slow smut playlist - the typical stuff you’d have playing in the background while making some sweet slow love. slower tempos, deeper bass, more haunting vocals. i really love writing to this one for just about anything, but especially writing passionate sex.

Hard smut playlist - s p i c y. hard hitting, deep bass, lewd and explicit lyrics. bangers for banging to. i think this one is just a bunch of fun, honestly. it’s great for writing some hardcore smut to, or just to jam out without shame.

Ed’s dead - the rest of these are character specific but still have general themes. this one is the tearjerker playlist. for all your whump, angst, and hurt/comfort needs. tbh i probably write most often to this one no matter the subject! this was designed around the dramatic scene of a character death in a roleplay. it’s very feelsy.

The squish - so lmao despite the title this one is a rather interesting mix. Made for Ed’s boyfriend who is basically a celtic grim reaper, very violent, and a huge party boy. theres like traditional celtic music plus hard rock plus some love songs. its... just a weird mix. just like their relationship. hella fun, though.

Edrick - music for my character, a japanese werecat/nekomata who is alllll sorts of mentally fucked up, aggressive as fuck, absolutely will not admit he’s submissive, drug addict, into some hardcore edgeplay bdsm, and loves his boyfriend so much it drives him crazy but he’ll never say it. So what kind of playlist does a dude like that get? heavy angst, dark and creepy beats, hard rock, a smidge of traditional and modern japanese music, and general angry shit. it’s upbeat but like... in the “i’m getting amped up to get my own ass beat” kind of way.

Pandora

Work radio - i’ve spent like... 8? years or some shit fine tuning this one. it was originally created to listen to at work and just became sort of a general listen to at any time station. theres a little edm, a little of current hits, stuff like hozier and adele, a bit of alt rock, some soundtracks.... its really a wide spread of stuff.

Dub luck - idk whats up with the name, my s/o created this one originally and i took it over. it’s purely EDM with a focus on dubstep.

Guardians of the galaxy - preeeettty much what the title says. inspired by gotg, so lots of classic rock and 80s stuff.

Chill out - a mixture of trance and softer edm, soundtracks, and classical.

Halloween Bday - SPOOPY PARTY TIME!! I basically listen to this for the entire month of october LOL but also what i use for my birthday parties since its so close to halloween

vikings - music from the show vikings and other really cool modern vikingish stuff with just a pinch of nordic metal. this shit is epic and i fucking love it.
