My creative juices are coming back, so I decided to kick artblock's butt by finally doing this meme - drawing others' OCs always inspires me a lot, so this was perfect. Look at this sweet Mort, for @anxitasy omg. He’s got such a simple panda design but the body shape and personality make him stand out. I really love the thick little eyebrows he has, and how soft his eyes are. Plus he has such a round and squishable face, I love it. Hello~ Weekly weekend update.

As usual, another busy six day work week. Thankfully this week went a lot better than the past few weeks. I've been feeling really burned out and physically ill from work. To the point I've wanted to ugly quit. Anyhow, I hope it continues to get better and eventually I can get off six day work weeks.

I honestly haven't made much progress art wise. Still working on the art meme as my main focus. I've got a lot I want to dig into with my own OCs, but I want to finish the meme for ya'll first.

While I haven't been productive art wise, I have been working on restoring some old tech! I picked up two HP w1907 monitors for my "used parts only" PC build. Unfortunately they seem to be suffering from bad capacitors. One displays well but blacks out when it gets warm ( in pic below ). The other just doesn't display anything black properly. Gonna Crack them open and see if I can replace caps or find other issues. I can share pics if anyone would like to see! And as the name states, this build is entirely Goodwill, Facebook marketplace, and eBay used PC parts. For those who care, currently its;

Intel i7 4790k | Some ASUS Micro ITX MB | 16GB DDR3 G.skill Ripjaws RAM | 128 GB NVME storage for OS ( came with motherboard from seller so epic ) | 1 TB WD SSD for everything else ( only actually new part since most dispose used storage drives ) | MSI GTX 1050ti

I already have a modern machine, but Idk, I REALLY have fun cleaning up / fixing electronics and giving it new life 💙. Been replaying Fallout NV and Mass Effect Trilogy a lot on it.

Hello ya'll

Not to sound like a broken record, but apologies for lack of new artsy stuff. I'm overworked daily to a point that any free time I do have, I'm in a state of survival mode and not in a great headspace to draw.

The only brightside in all of this is work SHOULD be slowing down rapidly after this week. I'll be taking that window as a chance to look for better work and potentially draw, but obviously priorities. I would've left sooner if this only effected me, but it doesn't.

Seeing all the awesome stuff I find up here and chatting with friendly folks has been soothing for the soul. You all are wonderfully talented and I love seeing all the different characters and ideas ya'll share. I hope you all are doing well and I hope to have some new pieces to share next time you hear from me!

Hello~ and sure! I had planned on introducing OCs as I made new art for them, but I can share my fursona and I guess a "comfort OC". I'll try to keep it short!

You might recognize these two from my pinned post. On the left is Noah. He is my fursona and yes, his design is based on an Arcanine from Pokémon. He was gifted to me by an old friend. I keep Noah grounded in a simple reality and base his personality on my own so I can interact with other artist and their OCs. He can breathe fire though!

On the right is Taylor, Noah's canonical boyfriend and a comfort OC for me. Long story short, I had a really bad experience when I came out as pansexual. Anyway, I was excited about discovering myself and simultaneously "frustrated", so I wanted an safe outlet for my gay cravings lol. Not just sexually, but romantically too. I love coming up with ideas of them in slice of life moments. Happy moments, comforting moments, and maybe some sad moments too, but they are unbreakable despite their individual flaws. I have hundreds of ideas for them and they are both in constant development. I can't wait to share more with ya'll through art pieces.

Hello everyone!

Same old same busy work week. Weekend is here and I'm devoting another day to staying in and working on some art stuff. My main focus is to continue working on the mutual art meme. I didn't want to take too long with it since I'm sure many of you are eager to see ya'lls lovely baby, but work has been unruly. Honestly I'm contemplating quiting and looking for another job. Anyhow, I'll have that done asap.

In other news, I have figured out how to import old work files from when I used Medibang Pro on my Surface Pro 3. That was my original drawing tablet / software setup I used for years. I only recently bought an Android based tablet and made the switch to Ibis Paint. I wasn't a fan of Medibang's android app and my fiancée had showed me Ibis. Cloud storage is a little weird, but I love the controls and UI.

That said, I was worried my archived work files weren't compatible, but luckily I saved all my old work as .PSDs! I am able to import work files for pieces I never finished... which you might notice are a little spicy lol. Noah bust 2 I should be able to share when it's done. NoahxTaylor1 not so much, but it'll be on TH. Raptor OC is a design i hope to share soon also. I'll sell them as an adoptable or develope them into a proper OC. Not sure yet. Anyhow, super excited I can finish these on my new tablet ^^.

Busy busy this week of work, but I plan to work super hard on the mutual art meme template this weekend. Hoping to at least get everyone's OCs sketched out today and tackle color /simple rendering next weekend.

Well, after looking at a lot of awesome characters and TH galleries, I feel VERY humbled lol. You all have such wonderful OCs with thought out backstories and personalities. I have so much work to do and now I'm inspired to actually clean up and write out characters.

Also, thank all of you for joining the mutual draw meme 💙! I've been looking through galleries, picking out OCs, and I'm excited to get started. No idea how long it's going to take me since we are going into weekdays ( work work work ), plus I have to work this upcoming Saturday blegh. Anyway, I'll work on them when I can. This is all exciting and what I missed about being in an online art community.

Chunky panda OC I call Morty~. Honestly I don't have solid deets on him, but he is probably every awkward, clumsy, and excited weeb cliche you can imagine and I love him for it.

This was my first time drawing him and making some design changes. He was an adopted design I bought awhile ago on ToyHouse. Will flesh out and develop more in time.
