Sometimes I regret not being more open / focused about my art in the past. I'd probably have better social circles, I'd be more motivated to grow as an artist, and maybe have found a way to make some kind of living from it by now.

Guess I can start now though 🤷

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. While my current day job has left me very financially sound, I have never felt so souless and burned out in my life. I want to quit despite the "career" I've made there.

60+ hours a week. It's affecting me mentally. It's not worth it.

I say all this because I believe this distress is a driving force in me being motivated to draw again. I need things to change. I NEED to devote more time to nurturing my mind and creating stuff again. Just the few pieces I've done this year have given me sweet serotonin. 💙

I finally finished the mutuals meme!!! Sorry, it took me so long! My creative juices are coming back, so I decided to kick artblock's butt by finally doing this meme - drawing others' OCs always inspires me a lot, so this was perfect.
